[A: Quidditch]
[ After the last loss on the pitch, Kise... Well. He might have looked like he was somewhat okay about it, but it drove him even harder to get better. He didn't like losing. Even if it was Rin who caught the snitch prematurely, it was the rest of them that failed to get the points they needed to win. It was the rest of them that struggled against Ravenclaw's team, which meant that Kise had to get better.

He zipped around the pitch, flying in and around spelled objects who's soul purpose was to hit him. Flying practice, he liked to call this one. And he was taking it seriously. ]

[B: Sunny Days]
[ Despite the wind being chilly, it wasn't that breezy and the sun was warm. It was too nice of a day to waste in class, so yeah. Maybe he was skipping one, but it wasn't like he couldn't look at the books right? He could keep himself on track, right?

If anyone wants him they'll find him lounging in the courtyard, long legs stretched out in front of himself and face toward the sky. Kise's cloud watching, arms behind his head and a smile on his lips. It's a really nice day. ]

[C: Outside the great hall]
[ There are very few things that can put Kise in a bad mood. A call from his agent back in Japan telling him bad news was one of them. Being picked up or dropped from contracts didn't bother him. When he signed onto something, he always made sure to tell them he went to boarding school in the UK most of the year and they'd have to deal with that, and most were okay with it. But it was the people who couldn't deal with that, that put him into a bad mood because it made him have to jump through hoops to keep contracts he liked.

His agent was telling him that he needed to get permission to take a weekend trip so he could do a shoot with some other idol or they would get him black listed.

Needless to say, he gave a frustrated sigh and hung up with his agent. ]

Morning, Slytherin Dormitory

[That Sunday Rin wakes up with a snotty nose and a skull-splitting headache and groans. He supposes after what happened last night he should have expected it, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. He'd been thrashing around all night, but only managed to fall into a light slumber in the wee morning hours dreaming weird dreams of frozen cucumbers, and being convicted at court with his pants down. If he was feverish, that explained those at least.

He dreads the Great Hall. He left Ravenclaw tower in a hurry and has no idea how things progressed from there. Maybe Gareki managed to convince everyone they saw a ghost, but somehow, Rin doubts it. He should just say he's sick and not go to breakfast, he's not hungry anyway. But that would be admitting he's sick, which would cause Sousuke go into full blown mother hen mode, which Rin can't stand. And he's worried about Gareki. He feels sorry for leaving his boyfriend to weather the storm, and he needs to know he's okay and just how much trouble Rin's idiocy has gotten them into. He should man up and brave the giant. Although he's pretty sure by now all of the castle knows.

Rin groans again.]

Breakfast, Great Hall

[Saying bravely he'll face the giant and bravely doing it are however two different things. Rin sits at the Slytherin table, convinced his head is about to explode. The food in front of him keeps turning his stomach, the glare of the morning light from the ceiling is too bright and the chatter is louder and livelier than ever before. Even worse is, that he can hear every single word from the neighbouring Ravenclaw table, every single ONE. They're loud and unrestrained and when Rin had stumbled into the Great Hall several minutes ago, ready to just sit down and not move, not a few of those nosy people looked at him for a brief moment, before continuing to talk louder.

He can feel the stares boring into him, as he sits with his back to them.

He had wanted to find and talk to Gareki, once he'd be safe on his legs again, and wasn't likely to collapse in the middle of the Hall, but now he's not so sure that being anywhere close to the Ravenclaw table is a good idea. It's bad enough it neighbours to Slytherin's already.

Rin groans for the upteenth time that hour, bangs his head against the table and keeps it there. The wood is at least cooler than his hand. Small favors, really.]

Bonus: Infirmary

[He ends up being dragged into the infirmary by the pains he calls his friends and teammates, when he almost collapses from fever that morning. This is also where he spends the complete week, because Madame Pomfrey is relentless. The first few days are spent between half-awake and restless sleep, the rest he's lying in the bed, snotty, grumbling, week and frustrated, waiting for his body temperature to get back to normal. He'll bark and complain a lot during this time, basically, if you brave a visit, expect behavior of a giant baby.]

((ooc: He's referring to this incident from last night, which is NSFW (but so, so hilarious), so read at your own caution, I am jst putting it here to make sense.))

((EDITED! Because Sousuke, Adela and Kise are major pains and Rin almost fainted from fever.))

The excitement in the air is sizzling, with the Quidditch match about to happen.

Today's match is a between two rivals ruthless in their encounters, their heated rivalry legendary from way back when Hogwarts was only starting. Gryffindor and Slytherin have never been on friendly terms. Certainly not in quidditch. It's sure to be an intense match up.

Flying your house colours? Figured out who you're going to support?

It's time to head out to the pitch and settle things.

[OoC: There will be threads for pre, during, and post game activities. In other words, pregame your character could be in the dressing room or at breakfast, during you could play out a game thread or be in the stands, post you could be celebrating or moping, depending on how things went]

And the winner is... )

The game lasted 2 hours 43 minutes and ended with a final score of 350 to 160.
Slytherin caught the snitch.

[The win was determined by player vote and the rest of the numbers by a RNG. A number between 15 and 300 determined the length of the game in minutes, numbers between 15 and 50 multiplied by 10 the final score, and a throwdown between 1 and 2 who caught the snitch (based on odds/evens, with each team having their assigned number for all the matches).

Slytherin was 40 points in the lead, before the Seeker caught the little golden ball.]

Hospital Wing, November 11th and beyond

[ It happened again... She's starting to wonder if she's just doomed to get sick at this time of the year.

Dizzy with fever and an extremely sore throat are the symptoms plaguing her, and on the day before the Quidditch match too! Slytherin vs. Gryffindor, she doesn't want to miss that, but... From what she's heard from Madame Pomfrey, she probably won't be well enough to watch tomorrow. Wonderful.

She sighs, sinking into the bed she's resting in a bit and closing her eyes. She doesn't want to sleep, she wants to cry, of all the rotten luck. She's already been told off for overworking and not resting enough, and at least it waited until the end of classes on Friday to get worse but... Sigh. There are probably some people who're going to miss her in the great hall, and she still had tutoring to do. Ugh...

And she still can't watch the match. That isn't fair. It's not as bad as not being able to play, but still!

Whether it's the evening on the 11th or into the 12th and even the 13th, Adela is still stuck in bed and mostly resting with potions to help things along. But, she won't spend all that time alone, will she? ]
