A) Classes
[ No puns intended but Rangiku's a pretty charming teacher. She encourages her students, works with them personally when they're having trouble, and teases them like they're young siblings. Often times this involves ruffling their hair or hanging on the older ones shoulders while she shows a particular way to do a charm.
Right now, however, she's being playful in an entirely different way. The classes for today are instead in the great hall, all house tables gone while Rangiku uses the space. In the center of the room is a simple ball, a lot like a quaffle, and the students are set in a circle around it. ]
Wands out! [ She smiles, standing far enough away so as not to get hurt. ] Your task today is to wrestle the ball from each other before it blows up. Whoever wins gets a prize of their choice. [ Her finger goes up, saying without words that there was one stipulation to that prize. ] And before any of you lot start plotting anything depraved, I won't give you contraband or do anything illegal. Lovely as you are, I'm not risking my job for you.
[ Winner is the first student to comment. ]
B) After Hours
[ In her office, Rangiku's slumped over her desk, trying to ignore the papers stacked on either side of her head. The part she really hated about teaching was the grade work. There were still essays to be looked over, asking what her students had done over the summer and if they'd learned anything new. It had to be done before the weekend was over, that much she knows. Her weekends were work free, always.
Even with that in mind, she grudgingly gets up and leaves her office for the night. At least half of them were done and it was only Tuesday. There was plenty of time to shirk her responsibility.
Though this is the part where if any students are out of bed at night, she will catch them. ]
C) Weekend Shenanigans
[ As per normal, her morning starts with breakfast in the Great Hall with everyone on Saturday. That, however, is when teachers and students alike will note that she's not to be seen on school grounds until she slinks back well after midnight that night, and repeats the process the following day.
What does Rangiku do while she's gone? Anyone can find her at the Three Broomsticks. Fortunately she's not a lush all day, she just finds Hogsmeade far more fun than work or wandering the school grounds. Her drinking doesn't start until after lunch and by night, she's pulling other patrons in to sing sings with her or other fun things. ]
