Great Hall
[Kaoru had thought everything would be fine. He was back at school. Sure that was awkward from time to time when classes were concerned. He had to share a few of the same ones as her but still, he never showed how bad it was. He didn't show that anything was even wrong for the most part.
That was until a letter arrived at breakfast, addressed to him. It was clear that it was sent by his mother judging from the handwriting.
He had little to no idea what it was about so he went to open it. It wasn't long before the colour drained ever so slightly from his face. Quickly he screwed the letter up trying to think about what to do next. He didn't want anyone to see it and if he did anything right here people would ask questions. So keeping the letter ball firmly in his grasp, he put on his best smile.]
Ah, seems like I need to go get something sorted. If you'll excuse me.
[He gripped the scroll slightly as he turned to head off, quick in his pace.]
Owlery
[Kaoru was quick to reach the owlery even though he didn't quite know why he went here of all places. Maybe it was because not many people came here. Perhaps it was even because ripping up a letter would be easier here as well. Use it as an owls bedding. No one would know a thing. He looked over his shoulder briefly before placing his hands on the letter about to rip it.
He didn't want his mother to try and get involved now, he didn't want her to try and get his brother involved either. He wanted to handle his own problems by himself. Moving his hand, he slowly ripped the paper into two, eventually turning it into many threads of paper that he left in a owls nest.
That was enough at least in his mind. He just wanted to get past it. With a slight nod of the head he had gone to turn around, starting to make his trek out of the owls home.]
