The 19th -- An Unwanted Annual Tradition
Hospital Wing, November 11th and beyond
[ It happened again... She's starting to wonder if she's just doomed to get sick at this time of the year.
Dizzy with fever and an extremely sore throat are the symptoms plaguing her, and on the day before the Quidditch match too! Slytherin vs. Gryffindor, she doesn't want to miss that, but... From what she's heard from Madame Pomfrey, she probably won't be well enough to watch tomorrow. Wonderful.
She sighs, sinking into the bed she's resting in a bit and closing her eyes. She doesn't want to sleep, she wants to cry, of all the rotten luck. She's already been told off for overworking and not resting enough, and at least it waited until the end of classes on Friday to get worse but... Sigh. There are probably some people who're going to miss her in the great hall, and she still had tutoring to do. Ugh...
And she still can't watch the match. That isn't fair. It's not as bad as not being able to play, but still!
Whether it's the evening on the 11th or into the 12th and even the 13th, Adela is still stuck in bed and mostly resting with potions to help things along. But, she won't spend all that time alone, will she? ]

[ And how weak and raspy her voice sounds likely answers that question for Kaoru, and she still hates it. At least the tea Kise brought is still there... ]
Madame Pomfrey insists that I'm sick...
no subject
[That was probably not the best thing to say, but he rubs the beck of his neck slightly.]
I mean you look sick, which much suck considering what tomorrow is.
no subject
[ But nope, that's not happening, she has to deal with that too. She flops back a little into the bed, frowning at the ceiling. ]
You've been holding up all right, Kaoru...?
no subject
[He never really tried either. He got bored rather quickly in the past when he did. He went quiet, looking over to the side.]
Holding up well. If I wasn't I wouldn't have come back to school in the first place.

[ She smiles a little, nodding to him. Even if she feels sick and has a head ache she can at least manage to be happy for her friend. ]
It's more fun if you know what's going on, but not everyone's into sports in general I guess -- even ones with people flying on broomsticks.
no subject
[But at least that has changed as well about them.]
I'm sure if he of had someone explain it we might not have, but I am sure it's different now.
no subject
[ She sighs, shaking her head before letting her body sink into the bed again. It'd be nice if they enjoyed it, but forcing it wasn't the way to go. ]
Maybe the next game when Hufflepuff isn't playing, if you two want it. Or even during a practice.
no subject
[Sure it was Slytherin but again... sports was not his thing at all.]
Well if you ask Hikaru and he says yes, then that should be okay.

no subject
[Because right now he really doesn't have anything else to do.]
no subject
[ Adela nods to him, looking to the ceiling once more. ]
You sure you'll be all right? I'm not exactly the best company right now.
no subject
[When he was by himself it worked at least.]
When I'm done with my project, I'll let you know.

[ Adela nods again, closing her eyes and trying to let herself fall asleep then. As much as she wanted to keep talking, her throat is really sore and she probably actually should try to get some rest... ]
