The 19th -- An Unwanted Annual Tradition
Hospital Wing, November 11th and beyond
[ It happened again... She's starting to wonder if she's just doomed to get sick at this time of the year.
Dizzy with fever and an extremely sore throat are the symptoms plaguing her, and on the day before the Quidditch match too! Slytherin vs. Gryffindor, she doesn't want to miss that, but... From what she's heard from Madame Pomfrey, she probably won't be well enough to watch tomorrow. Wonderful.
She sighs, sinking into the bed she's resting in a bit and closing her eyes. She doesn't want to sleep, she wants to cry, of all the rotten luck. She's already been told off for overworking and not resting enough, and at least it waited until the end of classes on Friday to get worse but... Sigh. There are probably some people who're going to miss her in the great hall, and she still had tutoring to do. Ugh...
And she still can't watch the match. That isn't fair. It's not as bad as not being able to play, but still!
Whether it's the evening on the 11th or into the 12th and even the 13th, Adela is still stuck in bed and mostly resting with potions to help things along. But, she won't spend all that time alone, will she? ]

[ Adela has to stop talking there, absently rubbing her throat a bit. What she wouldn't give for some tea right now... Or anything that would soothe her throat anyway. The potion helps, but it's taking its sweet time... ]
... Think you can tell Rin and Sousuke for me? I haven't seen them yet...

[ He feels bad for making her talk more. Especially after having watched her rub her throat. And promise, he's not reading any minds or anything but-- ]
Want me to bring anything by? I can sneak you food and maybe ask a housemate to get me some of your stuff.
no subject
[ Ugh she feels like a little kid, having to ask like this... But at least Kise offered first, and he's being pretty considerate (to her anyway) so... ]
Thanks, Kise...

[ He turns a smile on her and waves his hand. no big deal it seems to say. ]
If you're willing to distract the warden, I can sneak a thermos in.

[ She tilts her head, frowning a bit because she really doesn't know what he means. It's not like she can yell or call for Madame Pomfrey's attention in any way, is it? ]
no subject
[ He shrugs and stands back up, his hand threading through his hair like he's trying to think. ]
Cough or something?
[ He grins and starts away. ]
I'll be back after a while with it. If I take too long, it's probably because I'm telling the team you won't be in the stands cheering us on.
[ Oh woe, the piteous look he gives her. Like it hurts so, so much. ]
no subject
You don't need to tell the whole team, I don't know everyone on it...

[ See? Not entirely stupid. Thank you, Adela.
Kise turns toward the door, waving behind himself as he leaves the room.
When he comes back, some time later, it's to peek his head through, checking where Madame Pomfrey is. When he sees the coast is clear he quietly (or as quiet as a 6'2 1/2 blonde idiot can be) slinks into the room holding a cup and thermos of hot tea with honey and lemon. ]
Psst.
[ That was so totally not loud at all. Nope. ]
Adellacchi~ Guess what I have!
[ Still totally not a stage whisper as he makes his way back to her bed side, setting the cup down. ]

[ Well, she knows at minimum she's half right. She shifts to sit up in the bed then, albeit a little shakily as she's kind of sore and definitely tired. Still, she does appreciate that he did go and do that, even if it might not show immediately. ]
no subject
[ He doesn't though. Instead, he pours some of the piping hot tea into the cup and sets the thermos down. ]
no subject
[ She will offer a small chuckle at that face though, finally brightening a little even through the flush of fever. She'll also take that cup, blowing over the top briefly before taking a sip.
It still hurts but it does bring a little relief, at least. ]
Thanks, Kise. Really...

I got the house elves to enchant that with infinite refills so drink up.
[ Because his charm worked on most people, right? Right. We'll go with that. ]
But I'm not stickin' around for now. We've got the game to prep for and I still have studying to do with or without you.

[ She'll put the cup down when she's drained a good amount of it, sliding back to rest more snugly in the bed. It'll probably be better if she just rests, even if she really really wants to see the game... ]
no subject
We won't need it, but thanks! Get better soon~
[ Kise smiles and waves again, this time not bothering to look back or tease while he leaves the infirmary. ]
