[A - On the Quidditch Pitch]

[Roxas should be doing his homework. But he's not. Instead he's flying around on his broom. There isn't really a point to it. It's not practice or anything, just a chance to clear his head. It's remarkably freeing from the heavy load of knowledge that's been weighing him down since the start of term.

Flying up high he turns sharply in to a steep dive before pulling up before he hit the ground. If he was a seeker, that would be a pretty good Wronski Feint. He ascends again with a whoop!]

[B - in the Library]

[Not doing his homework had finally caught up with him and now Roxas is scrambling. And there's still so much to do. An essay for charms, practice for transfiguration, reading for Defense against the Dark Arts? It's almost too much. He stares intently at his parchment, before finally letting out a loud sigh and pushing away from the table to head into the stacks.

He thinks he knows what book he's looking for, but of course it's on a shelf he can't reach.]

This is stupid.

[Said with his head against the bookcase]

So it's something you have to know at some point?

Well, yeah. I mean, what job I want is going to dictate what classes I'm going to take next year, so that I can get the job when I graduate.

I see... I didn't think like that when I got the classes I am in.

[He just did the ones that seemed interesting and ones he could probably do anyway.]

I don't think you absolutely have to. It's just recommended and in sixth year, depends on how you did on your OWLs.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, since your situation's so different.

[He isn't worrying, he is just learning about this whole thing he knows he can't escape from...or whatever reason that might be.]

I guess I won't then. I will just stick with the classes I do have and see how things turn out. Though do you have a lesson you prefer over the others?

I like Defense against the Dark arts, but Ancient Runes is pretty cool to.

Ah, Ancient Runes is actually a subject I am in.

[Yet he has never studied it before, it just seemed interesting.]

I have some idea what it is about, but I thought it seemed interesting.

It is pretty interesting. Better than Divination anyway.

What exactly are the differences anyway? I know that runes are well runes, but why does one need to study them exactly? Is it to learn of the past?

[seasaltkeys]

They help with translating old texts and with some areas of magic I think? Like barriers and things like that.

[duelistking]

Oh, then that is quite interesting and something I would actually like to do. I guess that was probably why I picked it. I just hope I can study to catch up.

[Well he has six years worth of study to catch up on after all.]

It shouldn't be too hard, once you get the hang of it.

I should really get to studying then. Need to catch up after all.

Those shelves down there have a bunch of books on ancient runes. I've used them a lot for projects.

[He points down about five shelves.]

Ah, thanks. I should really get to studying that. It was nice talking to you never the less.

[With a polite smile and a bow he heads off towards the shelves. He does have a lot of catching up to do after all.]
