[A - On the Quidditch Pitch]

[Roxas should be doing his homework. But he's not. Instead he's flying around on his broom. There isn't really a point to it. It's not practice or anything, just a chance to clear his head. It's remarkably freeing from the heavy load of knowledge that's been weighing him down since the start of term.

Flying up high he turns sharply in to a steep dive before pulling up before he hit the ground. If he was a seeker, that would be a pretty good Wronski Feint. He ascends again with a whoop!]

[B - in the Library]

[Not doing his homework had finally caught up with him and now Roxas is scrambling. And there's still so much to do. An essay for charms, practice for transfiguration, reading for Defense against the Dark Arts? It's almost too much. He stares intently at his parchment, before finally letting out a loud sigh and pushing away from the table to head into the stacks.

He thinks he knows what book he's looking for, but of course it's on a shelf he can't reach.]

This is stupid.

[Said with his head against the bookcase]

I knew it was going to be a lot of work, I just didn't expect it to be this much.

[Which is why he's just flying around. That was easier. He knew flying, understood it.]

I always expect more than what people think. Then again I've always been good at school work.

Usually I am, but lately it's just been hard to concentrate. I don't know. Maybe my brain still thinks its summer.

That's probably because it is still summer, but I get it. I mean I have been going out on school grounds a lot for a reason.

[She enjoyed the great outdoors.]

It's too nice to be inside doing schoolwork. I don't know why I thought coming back early was a good idea.

Well, we all have our reasons.

[Considering they live with an old lady they call Grandmother, they had there reasons to want to come back early just in case.]

I'm sure yours was good enough.

Well, most of my friends were away for the summer, so it was just me.

Ah, that's a shame. What were your friends doing?

Summer camp and vacations and stuff. No one was really home when I was.

Ah, I see. Did you not want to go to something like that yourself?

I kinda just wanted a summer to do nothing. I mean, I still got to see them, just not as much as I would have liked.

I see. Sorry to hear that. Well at least you can do nothing here.

I wish. It's school so I feel I have to do something.

[Too responsible for his own good.]

But if you've done everything to do with school then what would you do then?

[She had done hers nearly. Just a few more left.]

I don't know. Go exploring or something.

Would you go into the forest? The place we are told not to go to?

If I had to, yeah. I mean, I've heard there's a lot of dark stuff that lives in there. Acromantula and stuff like that.

I heard of that too, but I've always been a tiny bit curious about it.

Maybe if we went in the day, we could avoid that stuff.

[But he's definitely thinking about it.]

Maybe it's possible.

[It couldn't be that bad in the morning, right?]

I wonder if we could find potion ingredients there.

Probably. I bet there's stuff that isn't the regular stores.

Are you planning on making a potion or something?

Well we have potions classes so odds are likely we might have to make potions.

Yeah, but they usually have most of the stuff we need in the stores. Unless the forest is where they get stuff from...

Who knows. Maybe the rarer stuff they might.

Still worth looking, in other words. Are you thinking of making a specific potion?

I mean, I'll definitely go looking with you.
