[A - On the Quidditch Pitch]

[Roxas should be doing his homework. But he's not. Instead he's flying around on his broom. There isn't really a point to it. It's not practice or anything, just a chance to clear his head. It's remarkably freeing from the heavy load of knowledge that's been weighing him down since the start of term.

Flying up high he turns sharply in to a steep dive before pulling up before he hit the ground. If he was a seeker, that would be a pretty good Wronski Feint. He ascends again with a whoop!]

[B - in the Library]

[Not doing his homework had finally caught up with him and now Roxas is scrambling. And there's still so much to do. An essay for charms, practice for transfiguration, reading for Defense against the Dark Arts? It's almost too much. He stares intently at his parchment, before finally letting out a loud sigh and pushing away from the table to head into the stacks.

He thinks he knows what book he's looking for, but of course it's on a shelf he can't reach.]

This is stupid.

[Said with his head against the bookcase]

How did you get up there?

[He's young and going to be taking flying at the start of the semester so it's safe to say he doesn't know what's going on with these brooms.]

Huh? Oh, I'm flying. On a broom.

How does it fly?

By magic. I think it's a levitation charm combined with a few other things.

[He could probably go on and on about broom construction.]

Does that mean I can fly?

[He knows people who can fly on their own but none of his vampire powers has returned.]

Sure, you've got a broom. I think there's actual spells for flight, but I don't know if they teach them here.

[Any time he's asked, he usually gets a dark look. Roxas really isn't sure why that is.]

So I can't fly without a broom.

[That seems to make his sad.]

I don't think so, or at least, I couldn't tell you how. Someone else might.

But the school has some brooms, if you still want to fly.

[He tries to think of Jiro would let him fly...]

I might just watch until Jiro comes back but I'll remember that!

He's my older brother.

[He hates fun.]

Oh, and you want him to see you fly?

[son_of_eve]

Sorta, I wanna make sure it's okay if I do.

[He smiles.]

He worries a lot and Jiro takes care of me.

I guess I can understand that. I can be around to. I mean, to catch you if something happens.

[son_of_eve]

[Kotaro giggles.]

I'll make sure to tell him that too! Thank you Mister!

It's Roxas. My name's Roxas. I don't think I'm old enough to be a mister yet.

Okay Roxas!

[He smiles, Kotaro is young enough that anyone could be mister.]

What's your name?

I'm Kotaro Mochizuki! It's nice to meet you!

[Even if it is the end of their meeting.]

Yeah, you as well. Come find me when you're ready to start flying. I'll give you lessons.
