Greenhouses
[Flora had been invited here and for some reason she found herself coming here. As to why she didn't know, however when she arrived she settled in and began exploring eventually finding herself in a place of her dreams. A Greenhouse. Her eyes sparkled when she saw it and wondered what kind of plants were inside. Making her way she soon found herself entering the greenhouse her eyes focusing on what was inside.

It was at this point that she knew what she could be the teacher of and it was going to be in the subject she loved most, plants. Flora moves about studying closely some of them, trying her best to figure out what some of them were as she had never seen them before.]

Corridors (Both Morning and Night)
[Flora had been told that as part of being a teacher she was to go on patrol at certain times during the day and night due to it being a summer holiday. She didn't mind this as much since it mean she could explore a bit more and see what beauty there was in this place. So she can be seen wondering around most of the time, although it's hard to tell if she is on patrol during the day or just wondering. During the night however she is on full alert, knowing now that students aren't allowed out after a certain time.]

[ Tokiya says nothing at first, observing her actions. When she finally starts cutting the plant, he can't not acknowledge that she managed to get a better response than he did. ]

It works for you, at least.

[ Maybe he's too frosty for this altogether... right? ]

[She gives a small smile placing the cutters at the side for the moment. She figured right now it was for the best to not cut from that one any more.]

It would work for most really. But... Did you try this method before?

[ He didn't, but he isn't about to admit it outright. ]

I did not think it necessary.

[magicalflowers]

[He paused slightly, so he jumped to doing something that hurts without thinking of the none painful for plants method. She didn't quite understand why, but it didn't stop her from not being overly amused.]

May I ask why you didn't think it was?

[tunedere]

[ The very short answer is that he doesn't care. ]

They aren't beings. Even if they have some basic intelligence, it doesn't matter.

[magicalflowers]

[Aw, hell no. You did not just say that to Flora, who loves nature and knows it has a voice and feelings. Great way to piss her off really.]

It does matter. While you say they have basic intelligence, they probably are a lot smarter than us. They know when to help us if we need it. They have feelings as well and can cry, we just cannot hear it. They are what we need to survive so they should be treated with respect.

[ To that, he just folds his arms.

Not that he doesn't accept her point, but the fact that he didn't really want to bother. Or maybe even acknowledge that he might have been wrong. ]

Have you been listening?

[She is giving such a stern look right now.]

I have.

[ He's trying to concede, give him some time to not lose face. ]

Then repeat what I have been saying?

[She likes to at least make sure.]

[ Why is he being lectured by some woman when he's just trying to do homework?? ]

You asked me to respect the plants because they have feelings, but at a slower pace.

[ Excuse the paraphrasing. He's made sure he doesn't sound completely uninterested, at least. ]

I didn't say anything about a slower pace. But close enough.

[She will let it slide for now at least.]

Anyway, I'm Flora and I will be your Herbology professor when school starts.

[tunedere]

[ ... oh. He just threw shade at one of the new teachers. Whoops. ]

Are you taking Sixth Years Honours Class, then?

[magicalflowers]

I'm not certain as of right now, I would need to talk to the Headmistress first.

[She knew she was going to be a professor which was what she was meant to be doing when she had to go to earth, so hopefully she can get the chance again and see what it will be like.]

But odds are I might be.

[tunedere]

[ Yeah he just threw shade at someone who's possibly his teacher. Real smooth there, Tokiya. ]

I see.

[ Hoping that she's not, secretly. ]

[Who knows, but for now she will smile. Since today doesn't count as a class, she did what she needed. However she doesn't trust him alone with the plants in case he starts to freezing again.]

Have you done what you needed to?

[tunedere]

Mostly.

[ He'll tone down his snark for now, but mostly because she's a teacher. ]

What is left for you to do, if I may ask?

[She might as well help some more if needs be.]

[tunedere]

[ If she's going to hawk over him like some sort of overprotective mother, he might as well leave. ]

I need to clear my things.

[ Meaning his scissors, notebook, samples, the like. Have fun watching him pick up everything... ]

Very well. If you ever need help for herbology, please let me know.

[Since she is the teacher she is always here to help as she walks over to another plant that needs tending to.]

[ Not that a honours student like him would need much help, anyway.

So he just nods and continues working. ]
