1st Flower ❀
Greenhouses
[Flora had been invited here and for some reason she found herself coming here. As to why she didn't know, however when she arrived she settled in and began exploring eventually finding herself in a place of her dreams. A Greenhouse. Her eyes sparkled when she saw it and wondered what kind of plants were inside. Making her way she soon found herself entering the greenhouse her eyes focusing on what was inside.
It was at this point that she knew what she could be the teacher of and it was going to be in the subject she loved most, plants. Flora moves about studying closely some of them, trying her best to figure out what some of them were as she had never seen them before.]
Corridors (Both Morning and Night)
[Flora had been told that as part of being a teacher she was to go on patrol at certain times during the day and night due to it being a summer holiday. She didn't mind this as much since it mean she could explore a bit more and see what beauty there was in this place. So she can be seen wondering around most of the time, although it's hard to tell if she is on patrol during the day or just wondering. During the night however she is on full alert, knowing now that students aren't allowed out after a certain time.]

Greenhouse
I apologize if I’m not supposed to be here.
[He doesn’t know and he really doesn’t care but there is no reason not to be polite. In front of him a plant shifts and moves as if responding to the sound of his voice.]
Greenhouse
Oh, I am so sorry. I'm not sure if you are meant to or not, but I won't be one to complain at fellow plant lovers to admire what beauties there are around.
Greenhouse
I was just looking around. I've never seen these plants in person.
Greenhouse
[She lightly touches on plant, a small smile passing by her lips.]
Greenhouse
[He's still learning proper names but some of the plants look a little familiar. Not that it means he knows anything about them.]
Greenhouse
[After all they are plants and she learns about them quickly, or at least since this will be her subject she need to learn quickly.]
Greenhouse
[He raises an eyebrow at that curiously.]
Greenhouse
However I am a very fast learner when it comes to plants and nature.
Greenhouse
[He smiles though his grin doesn't reach his eyes.]
I'm hoping to catch up before the school year starts.
Greenhouse
[She nodded slightly. That makes sense really.]
So which plant do you think we should start with?
Greenhouse
We can go by the book or in a circle around the green house.
Greenhouse
[She knew it was a saying, but Flora already had gone to one plants, kneeling down slightly to study it for the moment.]
I'll start here.

Greenhouse
bless you for playing her, also
Strange, right? ]
Yeah, though the other Flora that I know exists is a lot better than I am.
Excuse me, is it alright to ask if you are meant to be doing that to them? They don't appear to be liking it after all.
i'm sure you will be good too when you improve!
Of course.
[ His voice is clipped with the faintest trace of a Japanese accent, but layered surprisingly richly (as is appropriate for someone with voice training).
But he doesn't explain further. Presumably it's the cold that's causing the plants to cower? ]
no subject
I think... You're wand is causing the plants to get cold. So perhaps you could maybe make sure the wand is away.
no subject
Has it perhaps occurred to you that it is intentional?
[ But wait - the plants he are harvesting do need silver scissors to be suitable for potions coursework, but the manual didn't specify that they need to be frosted. ]
no subject
[Sure she couldn't understand them right now, but she could tell that could be how they were feeling and she hated that. Just wasn't right.]
If you just asked nicely, I'm sure they would be more than willing.
no subject
Asking nicely rarely works on humans, much less plants.
[ When each leaf comes off, he directs a crackle of magic to preserve it in a very thin layer of ice. ]
no subject
It depends on the person actually, but plants are always more than willing to cooperate when one asks.
no subject
If you're so sure about that, why not demonstrate?
[ He really is stepping back to let her try, if she wants to. ]
no subject
Now will you be so kind as to give us what we need?
[She ever so gently starts cutting and it seemed willing enough at least.]
no subject
It works for you, at least.
[ Maybe he's too frosty for this altogether... right? ]
no subject
It would work for most really. But... Did you try this method before?
