You're a wizard, __! [OPEN LOG]

It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Also, there's this nifty little post to introduce who you are to the others out of character, so don't forget to check it out!

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D;  Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

Prompt C

[Trains are great and it's one of many things that Hikaru is known for getting excited about. She jumps up onto the train hoping her friends are close behind. There is a wide smile on her lips as she throws one arm into the air.]

Let's go!

[Except that people are still boarding so she might be getting a head of herself. She's going to be looking for snacks before she even finds a seat considering the noises that erupted from her stomach. Time to find CHOCOLATE!]

Prompt E

[Hikaru is a little to excited and ate one to many chocolate frogs. They were her favorite but she never thought they would forsake her like this. Her head is resting on the table as soft moans echo from her lips.

She doesn't want to smell any more food or talk about food or have someone mention food.]

My stomach...

Prompt F

[It doesn't take her long to leave the great hall and head to bed early. There will always be tomorrow to catch up with friends and those she knows. It's going to be the start of her third year and it isn't the best way to start off.

Hikaru sighs very loudly with one hand over her stomach as she walks the mostly empty halls. It isn't so hard for her to find the Gryffindor's common area but why does it have to be so far away?]

[Ciel just happened to be sitting somewhere near the girl drinking some tea he managed to find when she was resting her head on the table.]

Hey... Are you alright...? [He didn't look worried as much as he was wondering what she was doing.]

[Hikaru shakes her head whining softly.]

My stomach hurts.

[She's sure there is a potion that can fix her ailment but she doesn't want to move. Her head slowly turns to face the boy, peeking behind long black lashes as her red eyes looks over at him.

Was he new?]

Did you eat too much?

[Hikaru nods slowly feeling her stomach turn with each motion.]

Too many frogs....

[She's too sick to mention that they were made of chocolate.]

F-Frogs?! Why would you eat frogs of all things?!

[He seems to have forgotten about those chocolate frogs until...]

Oh... Those magic chocolate ones?

[strength_of_heart]

[She just nods her head hoping that he doesn't really think she was eating real frogs.]

I didn't think it'd hurt so much.

[Except that both of Hikaru's parents are muggles so she only gets magical treats when she's away at school. After the summer had felt so long.]

Those don't look at all good...

[Tears gather in the corner of Hikaru's eyes.]

But they are so tasty.

[He was still trying to figure out what on earth was going on, or how he managed to actually get involved with all of this really. Last he knew he was pretty sure that he was with on heart, with his partner and then found himself in some other strange place with no idea of what was going on and instead had found himself having to buy things to get sent off to a school he didn't know about. But now he found himself on the train heading to said school. Just what on earth was going on? Where was his partner?

These were just some of the answers he was going to find out as he explored the train and each and every carriage he could muster during this ride. However he was quickly stopped by someone moving past him as he narrowly avoided a collision.]

You should be more careful, you know.

[Hikaru cringes as she skids to a hault.]

I'm sorry. Are you alright?

[She's easily excited and the first week of school is usually one filled with giggles and other assortments of laughter. She can feel the energy and excitement from those around her which made her more prone to stumbling.]

I'm fine, but one should still be careful.

[It had managed to avid it at least, but he knew that there may be others who might not]

[Hikaru lightly scratches the back of her head, her smile wide and friendly.]

You're right but it's hard not to be excited. School's always fun because I don't get to see my friends over summer break.

[He paused slightly, he can't say he knew much of anything really to do with school. That wasn't his thing, it was the others usually. Friends however were a different matter.]

How come you don't see them? Any reason?

[strength_of_heart]

[She shakes her head with a smile.]

I can spend them a letter with Hikari Jr. but my family are all muggles. They don't feel comfortable around magic though my brothers tease me a lot about it.

[Hikaru smiles, she knows her brothers care about her but the like to tease like boys do.]

[He had to pause once again to try and make sense of what was just said. He was pretty sure they were on about summer break and not seeing friends, but suddenly moved on to family and being muggles and a lot of things he doesn't understand. I was soon clear he was confused, which for him was still a little rare.]

Sorry if this sounds odd, but I don't think I quite understand something, but what are muggles?

[Hikaru blinks.]

Non-magic folk.

[That's how it was explained to her.]

My family are all regular people. My family owns a dojo in Japan.

[Oh dear, Fuu had been walking about wanting to explore more when she spotted someone she at least recognized around here.]

Hikaru... Did you eat all of that yourself? No wonder your stomach might not be good. Maybe there might be someone on this train that has something that will help.

[Hikaru looks up and smiles weakly.]

Fuu!

[She's excited to see her friend but her stomach hurts so much. Next time she's going to eat slower.]

It hurts..

Considering the amount you have eaten, I'm not surprised.

[She wondered if she could go into the next carriage and ask, but it meant leaving her friend who wasn't in the best state. She was concerned to say the least. After a moment she does quickly run off to where she had been and soon came back with something; a bag.]

Just in case... you know. While I'm getting something to help you are sick.

[strength_of_heart]

[Hikaru takes the back wishing that they won't need to use it. This is a little embarrassing though her stomach hurt to much for her to feel any other emotion besides pain.]

Do you think they have medicine?

[She's pretty sure they can heal anything at Hogwarts.]

Maybe. I would assume there would be some kind of medicine on this train.

[She'll head off down the carriage. Further and further she goes, asking people for stomach medicine. It had taken her a few trips up and down before she was actually able to find something and return.]

Hikaru, here. [She holds out a bottle.] I was told this should help.

[Every minute that Fuu is gone feels like torture.

When Fuu returns she takes the bottle weakly and flashes Fuu a smile. She is an amazing friend and she looks so mature!

Hikaru brings the bottle to her lips trying not to smell or taste whatever it was she had gotten. It doesn't taste very good and after a gulp she decides she can't drink more.]

What was that?

I actually don't know, they said that it was something there parents made just in case. I don't know of this world much to know what they could have used either.

[She probably should have asked and even then she wouldn't have known half of what was in it.]

Did it actually do anything though?

[Hikaru still feels a little shaky but her tummy doesn't feel like it's trying to eat her from the inside out. She flashes Fuu a relieved smile.]

A little. Thanks Fuu.

[She doesn't know what she would have done if Fuu hadn't walked by.]
