You're a wizard, __! [OPEN LOG]

It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Also, there's this nifty little post to introduce who you are to the others out of character, so don't forget to check it out!

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D; Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

He had to ponder that question. Part of it was a natural talent of his. Part of it involved careful planning. He put a lot of thought into being lazy. Sometimes, he would work at something if it meant saving effort in the long run.

"Practice"

He trained himself to fall asleep anywhere.

"Ooooh, I should have known." but where could she actually practice, that was something she didn't know just yet. But she knew she might try while she was in this school. Although it made her wonder if there will be classes or something and if so...what kind of classes.

"Question, do you think you have any idea of what classes they might teach here? Because until a few days ago, I hadn't a clue this school existed and know nothing about it." Then again she didn't even know she was in England... She is still confused about how that happened.

Mayu nodded.Mayu's level of laziness was beyond Usagi's. He was able to guess the classes from the school supplies list, though most of the subjects were not familiar at all. It was weird being in a foreign, magical school. He also thought it was a waste of time to take a train from England to Scotland. Wouldn't magic allow for more efficient methods of transportation?

"Me too," Mayu responded with a shrug.

Usagi didn't get much of anything really. She had saved the world again at least and managed to bring everyone back to life. She thought she was going to be happy with her boyfriend and her friends, living the life of school and maybe someday in the future being a bride and having a child. But sadly, she knew that wouldn't be for a while now.

Though that didn't bring answers to why she found herself in this country and not where she was last. It was still rather confusing. "I wonder how things work here though...How did they find out we had magic or whatever? I would want to know, but yet I'm not sure if I could."

Mayu never had to deal with anything supernatural. He was simply a middle school judo club Captain, with an art blog under a female alias. He wasn't looking forward to the lack of internet access.

"Magic."

Mayu shrugged again.

"We'll see," he said, in reference to wondering how things worked.

She nodded slightly, she guessed he wasn't much of a talker what with giving such short and to the point answers, so she honestly didn't know what else to say or do, but she thought she would keep trying anyway.

However just as she was about to speak, she eyes looked up and stared in wonder. "Oh wow, that is a castle and it is huge. Look at it!"

Mayu liked to be efficient with his words, if he couldn't avoid talking.

He joined Usagi in staring in wonder. Western castles surrounded by UK countryside was an unfamiliar sight.

"Impressive," he breathed.

"I wonder if before it became a school someone lived in it?" It had been probably the most random question she could think of, but it was a curious wonder she may or may not be having. She kind of wanted to know as well as the boats slowly made there was closer and closer towards it.

Mayu shrugged. He didn't bother reading up on the history. He wasn't curious enough to put the effort into reading Hogwarts:A History.

"Maybe we'll learn in history class."

"There's a History Class?" That would be major boring in her mind, she wouldn't be sure she could stay awake for such a thing. It was enough to cause her to puff her cheeks for a brief moment.

"I'm not sure I could stay awake."

"Some of the books we needed were history related," Mayu said. Mayu would definitely fall asleep, unless judo was a topic.

"I couldn't," Mayu agreed.

"Was it?" She asked tilting her head, thinking back on what she had been told to bring. She knew she had books she needed that were about creatures and some others that she got and didn't look too much into it. Maybe they were the history books. It would explain it.

"I guess I didn't notice."

"Understandable.A lot a books to go through," Mayu said. He could understand why it would be difficult to remember them. History was the most familiar sounding subject.

"I wish I didn't have to." She pouted slightly, she could understand the need to, but it meant learning and paying attention in class and she was never good at that type of thing.

Mayu nodded in agreement. He slept through class whenever possible. He only studied when threatened with being barred from judo club. He excelled when he tried. Most of the time he found schoolwork to be tedious.

The had soon reached the docks, which meant they had to get out and make there way up. As she carefully got out she turned around looking at the other.

"Okay, do you need help getting out the boat?"

Mayu shook his head. Being athletic had its advantages. His 181 cm height also helped. He had no trouble getting out. He checked if Usagi had any difficulties.

Usagi had somehow managed at least as she once more turned to look up. It looked ten times bigger this close. One of the teachers was signalling for the new students to follow then as Usagi sighed with relief that at least they didn't have to figure out the way by themselves.

"Lets follow them and see where they are taking us. I hope it has food because I am hungry."

Mayu figured someone would be leading them. There were a lot of elementary school aged children in the crowd. It would be irresponsible to leave them.

"Me too," Mayu responded in agreement. He hoped the path would be short and easy.

Thankfully there was someone there to lead them, although as Usagi looked at the children, she realized she was one of the older people, possibly the oldest she had no idea.

"Feels odd being one of the older ones here."

Mayu shrugged. He never cared about standing out. Usagi came a lot closer to fitting in, due to her short height. She was almost as tiny as Chiyo-san.

"And foreign"

"I guess...I mean I was last in Japan... Now I'm here in a foreign country. I guess you come from another country too?" She thought she might ask as they were climbing an awful lot of stairs as Usagi was trying her best not to trip over her robes.

Mayu nods, confirming that he's also not from the UK.

"Also from Japan."

Those stairs are daunting. Magic should be able to provide something to keep them from needing to climb. He sighs. He's an athlete, so it isn't as much of a problem for him. He still stays near Usagi, since she appears to be struggling. He wonders if he would need to carry her. She looks rather light.

Usagi did her best to climb, however while she was a fighter and a sailor senshi she had never had to climb so many before. But she continued onward knowing that the top was in close range.

"Nearly there." She said knowing she could at least see the top right now and that made her sigh with relief.
