You're a wizard, __! [OPEN LOG]

It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Also, there's this nifty little post to introduce who you are to the others out of character, so don't forget to check it out!

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D;  Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

[Roxas is grabbing a few cushions from the chairs and couches around the common room, stacking them as best we can.]

Got an idea for a name?

[Because he's not great with them]

Right now, no. Except maybe super awesome fort. Name is a work in progress.

[She called all the while gather all the things they needed before returning, placing them on the ground.]

Here we go. Let's build a fort.

[Roxas nods, grabbing a blanket to drape over a chair and the cushion pile he made. This would probably be easier with magic.]

Fort Badger, maybe?

Fort Badger... It's a shame we are no where near other common rooms or else they could have made a really fun game of capture of flag or something.

[Then again if they had been allowed to do that, it would have been very interesting.]

We could also call it Fort Hufflepuff, or Fort Loyal

That could be fun though! Maybe we should try setting that up, for like, inter-house unity or something.

[Plus he's never actually seen the other common rooms, except maybe the Slytherin one once.]

We can figure out a name once we're done.

Oh, I would be all for setting that up. Once I find my scroll sin my case.

[Which were probably right at the bottom or something. But for now she went to gte something to help the blankets stay up before putting a couple more pillows down.]

Now we have a decent enough thing to help the whole thing up, but is that enough?

Hopefully everyone else is.

[He wonders what their Head of House would think, nevermind the Headmistress.]


I think we're good. I can't really think of anything else, except maybe a flag of some sort.

I can make the flag. I'm good at that kind of thing.

[Mostly thanks to her sister really as she goes to grab a near by scroll and sets about sitting down to make the flag.]

[Roxas, in the meantime, is making a few minor adjustments and making sure things are cozy inside.]

[She was carefully drawing a badger on the flag. It wasn't the best, but it was pretty decent at least. A good effort. She was always better at making things than art after all.]

Alright, this is our flag. Do you like it?

Yeah, it looks great!

[Far better than what his attempt would look like anyway]

Here, we can attach it to this.

[And he produces a stick he managed to find.]

[She nodded slightly.]

Great idea. I wouldn't know to do that. Then we can put it on top of the fort.

[She held up the flag before handing it over to him.]

Well, you have to have some way to display a flag.

[He takes the flag and after some maneuvering with the pillows, manages to get it leaning up against the fort.]

There.

[watchesthesea]

That is true.

[She looks up at what had been done and clapped her hands together. It was like a work of art. It was beautiful.]

It's perfect.

It really is. Should we take advantage of it for a bit?

[Because it looks pretty comfortable.]

[She nodded slightly.]

When you can, take advantage. [She was already getting into, sitting down. It was pretty nice and if she could she could she would make it her room.]

[Roxas follows her, making himself comfortable in the pillows.]

This is great. We should do homework in here, or in another one.

Have you not finished your homework yet?

[She knew she had one or two left that she knew weren't the most easiest of homeworks, but now might be the best time when one is most relaxed.]

Well, I finished the summer stuff. I was thinking about the upcoming year and everything. With OWLs, we'll want to be ready.

[watchesthesea]

Yeah, that's right. I still have some work left but well we still got the whole month, but your right about the OWL's stuff. Which makes me think have you thought about what you want to do?

I had this talk with my sister on the train over here before and I am always curious what other fifth years think.

[seasaltkeys]

I have no idea. My Dad said not to worry about it but it's hard not to. I mean, this sort of decides my future, and what if I don't like what I choose?

[watchesthesea]

People follow what they want to me and since they talk to you about this before exams you need to have some idea by then. In my case I want to do something that involves travelling and helping others maybe.

[seasaltkeys]

That would be pretty cool. I wouldn't mind doing something with quidditch. Not like, play professionally, but make brooms maybe.

That would be an interesting thing to do. I was going to say referee as well.

I've thought about that to. But there would be a lot to remember.
