It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D; Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

[Naminé smiles.]

That sounds like fun. I don't think you're suppose to do a lot over the summer.

[Potato's are cute and they can still be wonderful drawings.

Naminé looks up at him again before glancing at the picture in her hand.]

Grandmother has been telling me to think about my future.

[She doesn't know what she is going to do after school.]

I got a bit of a lecture from my Dad about that to.

[Of course it was very much the "follow your dreams and we'll support you" kind of lecture, which really doesn't help Roxas all that much.]

But doing nothing was nice. I did read a lot of comic books.

[There is a gentle curve to Naminés smile at that. Her and her sister don't know much about their parents but she can't help but wonder if they'd do something similar. It's a bittersweet thought but it makes her smile.]

What sort of comic books?

[Naminé likes reading of all kinds and comics are amazing because of the art that goes into them as well.]

Everything really. Lot of superhero stuff.

[Whatever he could find really.]

I could ask mom to owl them to me, if you want to read them?

[Namine shakes her head slowly.]

That's alright. [She wouldn't mind hearing about them but she didn't think she could read the volume that Roxas is talking about. As she works she lets her thoughts wander to what she had spoken with her sister about on the trian.]

Are you going to join any clubs?

Maybe? I mean, I've got quidditch, so there's that. I got some chances to practice over the summer 'cause I'd hate to lose my spot.

We gotta get the cup this year after all.

[Roxas was determined to win the Quidditch cup at least once at his time at Hogwarts.]

You?

[Namine is already planning to go to all of the games because of her sister. It will be exciting to see Roxas there too.]

I don't know yet. I thought to try something new this year.

[She wants to be less shy and depend on Kairi less but it's usually hard for her to talk to others. She shakes her head slowly with a smile.]

I always seem to fall back to art though. [Not that it's bad but it isn't something new.]

Well, that makes sense since you're so good at it.

[He considers]

I don't really know what other clubs there are. I usually just get caught up with Quidditch.

Quidditch is a lot of fun too.

[Though Naminé never got very good at flying.]

I love going to all the games and watching you guys play.

[She finishes up a few quick strokes and then turns the water color around.]

What do you think? [There are a few faint lines she needed to erase from her pencil but it is more or less done.]

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this season! I think we're definitely winning the cup for sure!

[He is determined to play his part and can't wait to start practicing.

Roxas sits up and leans over to check the painting.]

I really like it. It's different from what you usually do, but still good.

[Her smile widens.]

Thank you. I'm taking both Art and Muggle Art this year.

[She carefully closes the book looking around the common area with a smile.]

I think we'll win the cup this year. We have such a great team! Have you met many of the new hufflepuff?

Not really. I mostly catching up with everyone else, so I haven't really met any of the new first years.

[Not that he really interacts with them, being a fifth year and not a prefect.]

I have met some of the new people...the ones that don't seem to know anything about Hogwarts.

Me too. [Though she hasn't met that many.]

There are a lot of older first years this year.

Yeah, I met some of them. It's weird. It's like they had no idea they were wizards or anything.

I've noticed that too.

[She pauses.]

A few first years are even older than me. I guess Hogwarts and reaching out further.

I wonder why. I mean, it could just be a magical accident or something, but I didn't read about it in the news or anything.

Maybe we will find out as the year continues.

[Namine is hopeful but she doesn't really know how to check either. She sighs softly suddenly feeling a little bit awkward.]

Yeah, I hope so.

And no problem. I'm glad I could help.

[Namine pauses for a moment, their conversation lapsing into a slightly awkward silence. She's trying to get better at talking to others but there is a certain point when she's unsure of what to say.

Her thin fingers gently pull at the edge of her sketchbook, her cheeks coloring a slight red though that might just be because of the heat from the fire.]

Um...

Was there something else?

[Because Roxas was considering heading to bed pretty soon. They'll have a full day of classes tomorrow after all.]

Ah! No.

[She shakes her head and then turns to head up the stairs. She stops at the foot of the steps and turns back with a shy smile.]

Sweet dreams.

Yeah, good night. See you tomorrow.

[She nods and then head up to bed with her sketchbook in hand.]
