You're a wizard, __! [OPEN LOG]

It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Also, there's this nifty little post to introduce who you are to the others out of character, so don't forget to check it out!

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D;  Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

[She had dealt with people being surprised before, so it was nothing new to her to say the least.]

Not really. This was set up when we were very young, it was normal back where I was from.

[unbridledtiger]

I see.

[He pauses suddenly feeling a little out of place. He turns setting the kitten behind the glass of the pet store and then turns to Elizabeth.]

Are you happy?

[She nodded happily, she wondered why he asked such a question.]

Of course I am, why wouldn't I be happy? [She knew she loved and cared for Ciel and wanted to protect him now if she can. She didn't get why others would think she wasn't happy.]

[unbridledtiger]

[He shrugs.

Seth isn't going to tell the girl how to feel and if she's sure then that enough.]

You're very lucky then.

[She nodded, she did feel like she was the luckiest girl in the world really. But she also knew and understood what love was to an extent at least.]

I am and I'm sure someday you'll be lucky and find someone you love.

[unbridledtiger]

I don't think so.

[Seth walks pass her, his voice low but audible as he begins walking aimlessly down the street.]

[She sounds a bit confused as she speaks up again, this time following the other boy.]

What do you mean you don't think so?

[unbridledtiger]

[He glances sideways at her but keeps his even pace.]

I can't be close to people. [He says so very matter of fact.]

[offrillsandswords]

Why can't you? Sounds a little odd.

[She didn't get it at all, it just sounded like he was doing it on purpose, which was just silly.]

[unbridledtiger]

I'm not like you.

[It's a simple answer. He is after all, a dream.]

[offrillsandswords]

Not like me? What do you mean by that?

[She doesn't get you at all.]

[unbridledtiger]

I'll live a lot longer than you.

[There is no point in getting close to people when you have to say goodbye. It hurt enough when he's forced to watch from afar.]

Live a lot longer? One doesn't usually know that until of course they or there partner dies.

[The whole super natural thing is still a lot to take in for the young girl, she just doesn't get it.]

[unbridledtiger]

[Seth assumes that she will persist until he tells her so his pace slows and he looks over at her for a moment letting the silence be filled by the bustle of the street.]

Because I can't die. [At least through normal means and as long as he was in the real world he was safe.]

[She still didn't get it at all. How can one not die, people die all the time. People she loved died, those she didn't know can die as well. There was no way anyone could not die.]

What do you mean, you cannot die?

[unbridledtiger]

[It’s far more complicated that he is willing to explain to her but he’s going to try and keep it vague.]

I’m not human. [He hope she can at least understand that.]

[offrillsandswords]

[Not human? That didn't make any sense at all. How can one not be human? With a puzzle looked she continued to walk with him, if slowly.]

You look human, so that must mean you are.

[unbridledtiger]

[He studies her for a moment.]

I can change my appearance though. So if I choose to look like a tiger? Would I then be a tiger?

[Seth's only teasing a little bit.]

If that is the case then prove it?

[She doesn't believe you, mister.]

[unbridledtiger]

[He smiles and then glances around to make sure they are standing off to the side.]

If you insist.

[Seth's body fades and in it's place is a medium sized white tiger. It smirks at the girl and then proceeds to walk down an alley to get out of the way. The wizards give the tiger space but they don't seem to alarmed by the sudden appearance.]

[Well that was confusing to say the least as she tilts her head slightly. She knew that she should follow, but in all honesty she was kind of scared to. It was a strange thing she she couldn't exactly trust that she would be okay, especially after an incident with zombies. So sorry if she doesn't follow right away, she is still weighing the pros and cons before nervously going and staying at the edge of the alley.]

[He's only a tiger for a little bit longer. When she finally peeks into the alley way she will see the boy that she had spotted a moment before. He says nothing, instead looking up at the bright blue sky that cuts between the two dark buildings.

His white hair stands out among the darkness that settles between the building.]

Um...[She spoke up finally standing there, wondering if he had forgotten she was even there right now.]

So...I guess you can chance into a tiger... But magic isn't real...I still don't get it.

[unbridledtiger]

[He turns at that, smiling.]

Magic isn't real? Why are you here then?

[They are currently standing in the world of wizards and witches. It seems like a silly claim.]

[She shrugged slightly.]

I don't actually know. One minute I was doing something else, the next I get this letter, find myself in such an awful pub and then this whole...thing. People keep insisting I am something I pretty sure I would have known about if I was.

[She really does sound more than a little confused. She hadn't a clue what was going on, or why they were assuming she was something she was as far as she was aware was not. She didn't have a single magic bone in her body. Being skilled with swords did not count.]
