You're a wizard, __! [OPEN LOG]

It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Also, there's this nifty little post to introduce who you are to the others out of character, so don't forget to check it out!

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D;  Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

Uh... [He wasn't one for being grabbed so this was a new experience for him to say the least, especially since people generally ignored him. So it begged the question of who the heck was she?]

Are you a new student or something? No one gets this excited over dumb things after all.

[Hikaru looks up at him with an innocent stare.]

I'm a third year... [Her confusion shatters and her lips pull into a wide smile.]

I think it's great to get excited!

[She also likes going to school and seeing her friends. There is so much to be excited about.]

[He just didn't get her at all. He felt like he didn't need to either, she was kind of annoying after all.]

You seem pretty childish for someone whose a third year considering. Then again I'm sure that will wear off when you reach the fifth year.

[Hikaru studies Kaoru for a moment her expression a little more serious. Then she smiles a gentle grin.]

I hope I don't lose this feeling even if I don't get overly excited.

[Her smile widens slightly.]

Are you a fifth year then?

If you don't... then good luck to everyone.

[He did mean that in a serious way, before giving a nod.]

I am, taking my O.W.L.S this year. Tests are pretty boring if I do say so, but that is just a guess.

[She's going to pout for a moment at that but then let it go. There is no point in arguing and she isn't going to let anyone sour her mood.]

Don't you have less classes though? So you can study whatever you want.

That's a bad thing you know.

[He can study and he does pretty well if he puts effort into it, but he is use to having way to much time on his hands sometimes.]

People can also use it in a much better way though, but that is just me.

[Hikaru sits back down on the trains seat looking up at Kaoru curiously.]

Why is it a bad thing?

[If he needs something to do with his time he can always help her. There are jump some classes she's not very good at.]

Because people don't actually use that time to study, instead they just use it in other ways. In my case I'm use to it so at least I am productive about it. Others though... [Usually play around like he would sometimes, but at least he could get away with it.]

[Hikaru smiles.]

If you are worried about them why not tell them so? [It sounds like there might be a few people he is worried about.]

I'm not. They can do what they like. Doesn't effect me. Just thought you should know what reality is.

[Such a not really harsh truth in all honesty.]

[Hikaru flashes him a knowing smile. She might be wrong but she believes he's a good person even if he likes to put up a serious front.]

I'll be careful then.

I'm Kaoru, Kaoru Hitachiin, you might have heard of the Hitachiin name somewhere.

[Mostly from his mothers side being a famous fashion designer for both muggles and magic folk alike. She knew what was fashionable in both worlds.]

[Hikaru blinks.]

I haven't, are your parents famous?

[She has three brothers and they aren't all to interested in clothes. In fact she's really the only female presence in her home.]

[Wow, just wow... There really were people who weren't fashionable at all... or possibly rich. He figured it could be both in this case.]

My mother is a fashion designer, she's the one most known in our family.

[strength_of_heart]

[Hikaru claps her hands together.]

That sounds amazing! I'd love to see some.

[devilishkaoru]

I'm sure someday I'll be allowed to show you something.

[She seemed easily interested in anything, it was rather odd to day the least.]

That would be great. Hey, where are you from?

[She doesn't know to many students who have come from Japan. A small part of her wishes he'd be close by enough that she could visit during the summer breaks]

[Where he was from. That was easy enough to answer, but he wasn't sure he actually wanted to say.]

Why do you ask?

[Hikaru shrugs.]

I thought I recognized your accent. I'm from Tokyo or close to it.

[Bright smile]

I've been there often, but it kind of got boring quite quickly with the same old same old.

[He goes to other places instead when they could. Never really stayed at home for long during holidays.]

I have a house somewhere else in Japan, but because of going to school here, I have a home in London that I go to with my brother.

[strength_of_heart]

That sounds so cool!

[She smiles brightly.]

My father runs a dojo so in the summer I'm there. I don't get to see a lot of people from school.

[devilishkaoru]

I never see anyone from school. I don't see the point, nor do I want to.

{Blunt and to the point, so long as he had his brother, everything would be okay. It was just them and the world.]

Okay.

[She doesn't mind if he doesn't want too.]

I think it would be fun. Everyone together, we could talk and play and not have to worry about school work. And get ice cream!

Considering it's the holidays no one ever worries about school work during that time. But if you want to do that type of thing, I ain't stopping you.

[he was still wondering though why he was still talking to her. Then again he already knew he was the nicer twin for the most part, but it wasn't like anyone ever noticed.]
