[ As a very dedicated Care of Magical Creatures professor, Snow can usually be found tending to said magical creatures, feeding them, cleaning up their pens, grooming them... you name it, Snow's probably doing it. Busy as he is (some of those critters require high maintenance!) he's always up for a conversation with a student or a fellow teacher. ]

[ Alternately, Snow can be found wandering the castle! Guy likes to stroll around, after all, and there's a ton of stuff to check out, even if he's lived here for a long time. After all, there's always something new, and the castle never disappoints. Bother him, run into him (he's built like a brick wall), or play a prank on him, whatever. At least he's got a good sense of humor? ]

[Serah was wondering where Snow had gone off to. Being a teacher kept him busy and animals were especially needy. So finally finding where he was, she jumped in on helping on whatever she could.]

Well, hello, Professor. It's a nice day out, isn't it?

[ As much as he loves spending time with Serah, he can't neglect his duties! That would just be bad form. But once he sees her, his whole face lights up, and he can't help his wide grin. Swiping the back of his hand across his forehead, he closes the distance. shortie. ]

Beautiful day. [ Not as beautiful as you. ] Finished with your classes for the day, Miss Farron?

[Of course she couldn't expect him to do that, even if for her. They have their moments and their time, at the very least. But that won't stop her from playing the good Ravenclaw that she is and playing the part. It's not my fault you love short pink haired girls.]

[Seeing the very person that irritates her to no end, Lightning steps out in front of him with her arms crossed.]

[She just watches him, waiting for an answer.]

That's probably a bad comparison. Regardless, he raises his hand in a two-finger salute. ]

[Allen was trying to find a better place to train than the common room, after all that wasn't big enough for certain things he wanted to do. However he found himself very lost once again. With a small puzzled look on his face he started to look around, wondering where he was currently.]

Where am I? Did I come here before?

[He couldn't help but be quite thankful when he spotted someone near by.]

Excuse me, I'm... kind of lost. Do you know where in the school we currently are?

[ It's not exactly uncommon for people to get lost in the castle. Hell, he even sometimes gets lost, and it's a damn good thing he somehow manages to find his way just by wandering. Even if it takes hours. ]

Kinda tricky place, huh? [ A grin. ] I'll show you back to the main hall.

[ You know, if he doesn't get them even more lost. ]

[It was more than a little tricky in his mind, but he still felt bad that he keeps getting lost. At least nothing to bad happened, that was always a good thing.]

Though, thank you. I do appreciate the help. [Especially when he had the nack for getting lost.]

When you say tricky you mean people actually get lost and it isn't just me?

[ He draws out the "oh" for emphasis, accentuating it with a wink. ]

I've been here for a long time and sometimes I still get lost. Blame the staircases.

[Kairi always enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible and she also enjoyed being around the animals that were around. It made her wonder what the classes were going to be like in this important year. With that in mind she just watched the animals quietly for a moment.]

What creature are you taking care of right now?

[ Hey, it's Kairi! Snow's always liked her; she's enthusiastic and pretty damn smart. ]

Kneazles. [ Said creature flicks its tail as Snow straightens up. Kairi might notice there are two dishes. They both look like they have milk in them, though. ]

[She paused for a moment, trying to remember what she knew about them.]

Ah, they are the types that can breed with normal cats as well, right? From what I read anyway.

[She soon looks at the dishes once more.]

Can I ask what the dishes are anyway?

They can, yeah. Pretty common, actually.

[ Snow looks at the dishes, then at her. ]

Milk. One of 'em isn't milk, but don't think anything can tell. Other than a kneazle. These guys are smart, they can tell when someone's being untrustworthy. It'll be able to tell which one is actually milk.

[At least he hazard a guess at that anyway as he watched. He was still getting use to this place and since he was new, he figured he should at least introduce himself.]

I'm Fai D. Flourite, I'm going to be the new professor of Potions.

[ Two-finger salute as way of greeting. The guy doesn't seem bad; downright cheerful. Boy, he'd like to see him and Light meet, just from the impression he's getting... ]

Potions, huh? Got your work cut out for you.

Do I? It's not like mixing potions is anything new for me. I just hope I don't mess up teaching. Never done that before after all.

[It was a whole new thing and it seemed a little strange for him.]

[Care of magical creatures is by far Hikaru’s favorite subject. She has a strange affinity for animals as if she’s able to talk to them and most creatures take a liking to her the instant she meets them. She has her owl but with her dog stuck at home she feels a little lonely.

She’s picking her way down to where the creatures were kept stopping when she sees the puff of white hair.]

Oh! Are you the teacher?! I’m Hikaru! I can’t wait for class. I love animals!

Yeah, that's me. [ He flashes a grin as he studies her. She seems enthusiastic enough, and the animals don't seem skittish around her. A good sign, in Snow's book. ] Snow Villiers, nice to meet you.

[She's already walking up to the nearest thing, though she's careful as she leans forward to say hello.]

Inside the castle

[Kotaro is doing something that he probably shouldn’t. The nine year old is sitting on the ground and drawing, with what looks like crayon, on the castle walls. From far away it looks like a mass of brown but closer up will reveal a cute little bear.

The young boy has blond hair and bright blue eyes that look like they are shining as he hums a happy tune. He spots Snow walking down the hall and gets up running towards him.]

Hey Mister! Do you want to draw with me?

[fistpunch]

[ Snow, being Snow, sees no issue with this. He's a kid, and the crayon will wash out with a little elbow grease. Or magic--probably magic, honestly. Snow kneels down, one arm resting on his knee. ]

Sure, kid. Got enough crayons for both of us?

Yeah!

[He pulls a few colors from his pockets, ranging from green to bright pink.]
