[You know how most students leave the boat docking station to actually go inside? There was one girl who decided to stay behind after being forced to be sorted and then crawl into one of the boats to lay down. Apparently magic had changed her robes because she was too preoccupied to care to change. At least the robes she was changed into magically had a coat that was long enough to sort of work like her cloak did. She'd taken it off to put it over her to act as a blanket.

Instead of actually deciding to go inside, she was too busy moping. She hadn't even bothered to check things out and the idea that she might actually be able to use magic properly wasn't enough to cheer her up. Somebody want to fetch her?]

[Well now that her stomach was clearly telling her that she needed to stop moping and crying, she finally started to get up and put the coat back on to head inside. Sure she was used to magic, but this wasn't quite the same. They'd never had actually moving pictures or moving stairs. Absent mindely, she continued to walk on until she stopped in front of the giant doors leading to the Great Hall.

At least she wouldn't starve, considering the food replenishes itself. Sitting down idly at the Gryffindor table, she just stared at the food. She was hungry, but there were other things to worry about.]

Saito.... Why...?

[Considering she managed to run into Saito earlier in the day someone, she was doing a little better, but she was still depressed about the entire thing. There were so many thoughts going on in her mind. She didn't particularly pay attention at first until..]

Oh, uhm... I'm okay. [Which is obviously "Not really"]

[She could tell that the other wasn't okay, after all it might have been how she dealt with being upset, but she figured out that maybe the other wouldn't want to talk about what was upsetting her and instead tried to talk about something else with a small smile.]

So... What do you think of the food?

[And she does appreciate that, since she's still sort of trying to wrap her mind around it yet. It hurt to think about. But the food... She couldn't say it was bad. She's had worse, despite being an aristocrat thanks to going undercover for the Princess occasionally.]

It's better than I expected.

[She nodded. She kind of agreed with that statement really, when she first looked at it, it didn't look great, but when one tried it. It was the best thing in the world in her mind.]

That's what I thought. The taste is quite surprising. However there selection of teas is disappointing.

Tea? What kind do they have here?

They don't have the kind I am use to. It just seems very basic and doesn't taste the same as one brewed the normal way. You can try if you don't believe me.

[She moved to pour the other a cup, holding it out for her.]

[Trying some of the tea offered to her, she could see what the girl meant. She wasn't too much of a tea drinker -- not when it was normal to have a little bit of alcohol every now enough -- but she'd drank her fair share.]

It's sort of tasteless.....

That's what I thought. I don't think they understand what good tea is.

[It was a shame really, but she thought about maybe going to the kitchen and telling them or something.]

Clearly. But I guess I have more of an expensive taste. I've gotten better about getting used to other food at least.
