Great Hall

[Usagi slumped down on the table a fork in her hand as she started to play with the food in front of her. She had to admit she still kind of missed home and figured she could perhaps figure out a way to send mail home and let everyone know how she is and how things are. After all she was pretty sure those she helped bring back to life were wondering where on earth she was right now. Especially her closest friends and her boyfriend.

She she put the fork down she was slowly starting to wonder is he was maybe looking for her or something. That brought a smile to the young ladies face when she thought about it. That would be something he would do after all. For those who might be wondering or even sitting at the table might notice the young girl just sitting there, deep in though and with food right in front of her. She didn't appear to be eating it any time soon.]

Hallways

[Holding on to a few letters, Usagi had brought it onto herself to figure out how to send mail to home. After all it seemed like the normal method might not be the actual case as they didn't have phones here. So it seemed like letters at least were her best bet. Seeing someone close by she was quick to run on over, waving her hand in the air and holding her letters in the other hand.]

Hello, can you tell me how to send letters? Because I haven't a clue.

Owlery

[Upon finally finding out to send letters, she had found her way towards the Owlery, a small smile upon her lips with each step she took and her mind wondering to the fact that soon her mail ws going to go to those she loved and cared about. When she took the finally steps and entered the place, she looked up in wonder at all the owls that lived here. There were so many it was hard to choose the few she would need to send out. But she somehow managed to pick at least five that she had planned on sending out. As she tied each one to the owls legs she made a wish that it would reach her friends before sending them off. However with the last letter she couldn't help but kiss it, eyes closed for a moment before tying it up. She was sendind this one to Mamo-chan and she hoped deep down in her heart that it would reach him.

Sending the owl off she couldn't help but watch the owl fly off, a small smile still on her face as it did.]

Not hungry?

[Yuffie has come over from her table to steal some of Usagi's food. She usually sees the girl eating with such gusto, it's weird seeing her stop and stare. She gets a few strange looks and a few unhappy ones as she reaches for something to eat.]

What cha thinking about?

[She had managed to take one bite but that was it for the meantime. Her mind had been wondering too much about people she cared about to eat any more. She needed to know if they were actually okay and live or not after all. When she heard a familiar voice she turned her head slightly.]

Oh, just thinking of home, I guess.

[Yuffie can understand missing home but there is no reason to be sad about it, or not eat.]

I'm sure you can visit some time. I got a letter from my dad, he said homes far away but it's fine. So it's probably the same for you.

[Though she's still very angry at her father.]

I guess, but school seems awfully different than Japan. So I don't actually know how the school year works here.

[It was vastly different, like it was the summer and here people started the school year, but back at home that started in the Spring.]

Doesn't it start in September?

[She isn't used to school.]

That's not normal?

No, we start a new school year in April.

[So this whole September thing was all new to her.]

Don't you go to school? [She looks like she came from Japan after all. Maybe she was home schooled.]

I do not!

[Which she says with far too much pride.]

Okay, that's only half true. Dad has me do lessons all year round. Ever have to learn how to do a tea ceremony. Let me tell you! It's really boring.

That's not the type of classes I would expect.

[She knew people learnt things that like and perhaps as a princess she should probably try, but right now probably wasn't the best time.]

Ours are different.

[Yuffie keeps eating Usagi's food. The girl doesn't seem to mind.]

What classes do you take?

Ah, I have a list somewhere.

[She actually goes through her robes and pulls out her list and looks through the list.]

I have Astronomy, Defence Against the Dark Arts , Herbology, Potions, Transfiguration, Apparition which apperently I found out is only for like...three months and Care of Magical Creatures

Sounds like a lot.

[Yuffie hasn't looked at her list but they did indeed give her one.]

It is, but some people in the year I'm apparently in either have more classes than I do or less. It seems like it's meant to be based on results one gets from exams in there fifth year.

[Yuffie blinks but doesn't stop eating.]

I don't really understand what you mean. Sounds a little backwards don't cha think?

[Thankfully Usagi had lost focused on why she was sad in the first place and can eat again. Slice of chocolate cake here she comes.]

I don't know, I just said what I was told really.

[Yuffie has eaten as much as she can and Usagi might notice that the food in front of her has been substantially thinned out.]

Well, looks like you got this! I'm off! Later~

[Amu is sending letters to all of her friends from home. She looks over to see Usagi and clams up awkwardly. She didn't know someone else was here.

Maybe she could send her letters later?]

[She looked over slightly. She hadn't realized there was someone else here. So she goes slightly red at the thought they saw her kiss a letter.]

Oh, hello there. I didn't know I wasn't alone.

[Amu shakes her head feeling a little awkward herself.]

I just got here. [She sighs softly.] I can always come back later.

No, it's fine. I'm actually done now.

[She had already sent off the last letter anyway, so that was all she had left to do.]

Sending a letter to loved ones too?

[Amu turns bright red at that.]

N-no. No. No. Just letters to friends back home.

[Of course she can't help but think of her prince back home.]

Friends are loved one though, at least that's what I believe?

[Did she assumed otherwise, she starting to think that might be the case.]

I guess so.

[Amu looks down at the letters in her hand and begins to tie them to an owls claw.]

[She smiled, her owls have gone before she started to went to the door while owls started to fly about.]

I'll leave you to your letters.

[She has a few to send, she only hopes they will all get to the right place.]

[Noticing the girl, she looked to her and stopped.]

Oh, you just need to send it by owl. If you don't have one, I'm sure the Owlery will allow you to borrow one.

I don't have one. I have a cat, but I don't think she knows how to send mail.

[Nor does she want to try, so owl it is. With a sweet smile she tilts her head.]

Thank you for telling me though. But is it okay to ask another question?

They'll let you borrow one at least.

Oh, sure. What is it?

That's good.

[She paused for a moment, trying to remember the question.]

I need help with studying and I'm not that good at it, can you help?

Oh, sure. I don't mind. [She's had to study a lot for her O.W.L.S. anyways and now she has her N.E.W.T.S]

Thank you. I will owe you big time.

What time would work for you?

I-I don't know, any time I guess.

[Serah just happened to be there when Usagi came in. Serah had been considering sending a letter to someone but... it seemed risky. Anyone could intercept an owl if they really wanted to.... And considering it's contents...

No... Maybe she'd just risk slipping it to them some other way....?

But looking to the girl, she seemed sad.]

Are you okay, miss?

[She had been in her own little world when the other had spoken. Snapping out of it she glanced over ever so slightly, giving a small smile.]

Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Maybe just a little home sick though.
