Great Hall / Hufflepuff table
[It's probably not that weird anymore that Hogwarts gets a visitor from Japan. This time there isn't a commotion in the Great Hall because of it, at least. No, this time the visitors quietly wait for their escort and greet anyone who comes close politely.
What is different is that there's someone hiding from said visitors under the Hufflepuff table. Shiraishi had dodged under the minute he'd seen familiar faces walk through the door and there he was determined to be until they would be gone.
They might have not been his family, but Oshitari and Shiraishi families were very closely connected, so it would have meant trouble if he was spotted.]
Hallways/Courtyard/Outside
[The rest of the day proves to be rather difficult. Shiraishi does his best to attend all of his classes. Everything goes well once he's in said classes, because there's no way they would come to one of the classes unexpected. It's moving from class to class that's proving to be problematic.
Shiraishi is escaping to cleaning closets and behind larger armors, sometimes even empty classrooms (or maybe they're not empty - maybe there's a teacher inside). Anywhere he can get to escape from familiar voices sounding from the hallways. Sometimes he even hides on false alarms, just to be sure.
His master piece must be the time when he climbed to a tree to avoid being seen on his way to the greenhouses.
Really, he should have called in sick. That was just risky as well, because they were healers, those Oshitaris. Of course they'd go to the infirmary and with his luck he'd have run into them when asking for a sick leave.
What a day this was proving to be.]

[Shiraishi grins at him though.]
I heard you can sneak out from under Whomping Willow. I happen to be a future Magibotanist, so I know how to stop it from completely killing us.

You do realize I can take a much more direct route?
[But that would be less fun, wouldn't it?]
Lead the way!

[He starts walking towards the direction of the tree.]
Maybe I should have thought about becoming an animagi.

[Kenya says with a laugh.]
Besides, it wouldn't be an adventure without sneaking.
[He grins, leaning his elbow briefly on Shiraishi's shoulder.]
And you still could, you know.
[He says as he lets go. Honestly, as grateful he is for being the fastest animal there is, he sometimes can't help it but wish to be something slower, but bigger. To be able to grab Shiraishi between his talons and fly away, away from troubles and obligations, far, far away.]
It's a skill you can learn anytime. And your marks are good, so it's not like you'd lack skill.

[The Willow can already be seen as they continue walking.]
Hmm... true. [It might be useful in many ways in general as well. Running away from family members, for example.] If I wanted to, would you tutor me? I could give you a lesson or two in Occlumency.

[To be honest the suggestion surprises Kenya a little. He doesn't really think of himself as good at explaining, he's more into the practical side of things. But then again, there are enough books about it, which he could give Shiraishi. Then he'd only have to train him.
Though the skill in exchange makes him smile in a kind of ironic way. It's not that Occlumency isn't a skill he doesn't want... It's more tat he doubts he'd be good at it. Shutting down a few emotions? That's a skill he'd kill to have.]
Occlumency, huh? I don't think that's for me. But I'll train animagus with you, if you wanna.

[Shiraishi smiled. It was a trusting and gentle smile.]
Even if I'd study from the books and ask the Transfiguration teacher for help... it would be fun to train with you.
no subject
Well, I can't disagree with you on the fun part.
[He says with a smirk, once he regains control of his facial muscles and reigns the heat in his face in, but the expression doesn't hold for long, replaced by something gentler.]
And we both know who's the greater wizard of the two of us. It's not like you'd take long to have a grasp of it. After that, it's just a lot of training.

You don't give yourself enough credit, though. Plus, you shouldn't compare yourself to someone who aims to be perfect~
[He winks, joking. He's really not, at least not in everything, but it's been a long running thing with friends in Mahoutokoro.]
no subject
Who else should I compare myself to, if not to such a person?
[He asks with a shrug.]
You don't accomplish great things without aiming for them.
