4th ecstasy | Hide & Seek | Backdated to late May
Great Hall / Hufflepuff table
[It's probably not that weird anymore that Hogwarts gets a visitor from Japan. This time there isn't a commotion in the Great Hall because of it, at least. No, this time the visitors quietly wait for their escort and greet anyone who comes close politely.
What is different is that there's someone hiding from said visitors under the Hufflepuff table. Shiraishi had dodged under the minute he'd seen familiar faces walk through the door and there he was determined to be until they would be gone.
They might have not been his family, but Oshitari and Shiraishi families were very closely connected, so it would have meant trouble if he was spotted.]
Hallways/Courtyard/Outside
[The rest of the day proves to be rather difficult. Shiraishi does his best to attend all of his classes. Everything goes well once he's in said classes, because there's no way they would come to one of the classes unexpected. It's moving from class to class that's proving to be problematic.
Shiraishi is escaping to cleaning closets and behind larger armors, sometimes even empty classrooms (or maybe they're not empty - maybe there's a teacher inside). Anywhere he can get to escape from familiar voices sounding from the hallways. Sometimes he even hides on false alarms, just to be sure.
His master piece must be the time when he climbed to a tree to avoid being seen on his way to the greenhouses.
Really, he should have called in sick. That was just risky as well, because they were healers, those Oshitaris. Of course they'd go to the infirmary and with his luck he'd have run into them when asking for a sick leave.
What a day this was proving to be.]

Great Hall
With a playful smile, he lowers himself below the furniture as well, teasing his friend.]
If you're playing hide and seek you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to close your eyes and count to ten.

[Yogi following him under the table was something he hadn't predicted happening. Then again he hadn't planned on going under either...]
Though I definitely don't want to be found.
no subject
I guess so. Why do you not want to be found?
no subject
[It's true, even if not the whole truth. Shiraishi sighed.]
More like a family friend. If he sees me here, who knows what my parents will say.
no subject
[Yogi remembers that Shiraishi ran away. He still maintains, that instead of hiding, he should talk with his family openly and solve everything, but he doubts Shiraishi will listen to that now.
So instead he smiles mischievously at Shiraishi, leaning in to whisper conspiringly.]
I know a lot of good hiding spots!
no subject
Really? Would you mind showing me?
no subject
[Yogi says smiling sweetly, before sticking his head out to survey the surroundings.]
Okay, you can come out, I think he's gone.
[He slides back into his seat, waiting for Shiraishi to join him, before adding.]
I still think it would be better if you talked with them.
no subject
It's beyond that point already.
no subject
How do you know?
[Shiraishi has never tried, right? And in spite of everything, Yogi still believes that every parent, no matter what they do, just want to look out for their kid. Sometimes they don't chose the best way, but in that case, it all can be soled with a honest heart-to-heart.]
I still think you've given up too easily.
[He says hesitantly, not wanting to offend his friend, or make him feel like he's being chided. He just believes in people, and that there's a solution to every problem. He has to believe that. Everything else would be scary.]
I think you should at least try to explain to them, how you feel and why this is so important.
no subject
[Shiraishi doesn't mind Yogi talking to him about this. He's clearly trying to help, but he really feels like the situation is beyond saving.]
I'm not fit to be the pureblood family head they want me to be.
no subject
[Yogi looks away, thinking how to help his friend. He WANTS to help is friend, but has no idea ow to do it.]
Have they told you why they want you to be the heir so much? Maybe you should ask them. Then it would be easier to figure out a solution. Maybe someone could go with you. A friend to support you. Might make them more receptive to what's on your mind.
no subject
[It's a thing he's wanted them to actually consider changing, but it hasn't been successful.]
Maybe... I'm just afraid that once I step into the residence, I wouldn't be able to come out of there and they wouldn't listen to me at all.
no subject
[Yogi doesn't really understand that reasoning, and it shows on his face. It sounds stupid, to ignore a good and interested candidate for family head, just because they're a woman, and force it on someone who would only suffer instead.]
I don't suppose there are a lot of things you could do to change their mind, huh?
[Yogi just wishes, desperately, he could say, or do something to help his friend. But he can't and that sucks. And Shiraishi is left suffering. He hates that.]
Is there something I can do? Anything?
