Ravenclaw tower / Outside

[Nowadays it seems like a Peregrine Falcon has found a nest atop of the Ravenclaw tower, where it can be seen sitting sometimes, observing quietly one moment, before diving down with it's incredible speed, when it's next prey catches it's eyes... Oh. Right. That's just Kenya practicing his form. Did he just scare the living daylights out of you? His bad, except he's probably laughing unashamedly at your freaked out expression. Sorry~]

Quidditch field

[One of the first places Kenya decides to check out, is the pitch, seeing as he signed himself into his house team. He's played at Mahoutokoro as well and he loved it, he knows he'd miss it, if he didn't get to play for half a year, or more. And his speed had beat every player that was in the team, granting him a starting position like a piece of cake. He's a Chaser now. Too bad the Seeker is already occupied, by someone so influential, but alas. Kenya prefers the Chaser position, so it's all good. Less responsibility on his shoulders. He gets on his broom and takes a tentative circle around the field, before starting to practice a few maneuvers.]

Locked to Shiraishi, April 14th, Afternoon

[It's after the classes that day already, when Kenya first seeks out his best friend. Of course they have talked that day already and Kenya said his congratulations, but it wouldn't do with just that. of course he's prepared a little surprise for his best friend, which he has just finished setting up. It's nothing big, but it' not something he can drag along with him through the entire castle either, wthout looking like an idiot.

Now it only needed Shiraishi. Kenya transforms into his falcon form and shoots into the air. It's still the fastest way to find his friend - and the most amusing one. He spots Shiraishi soon enough and dives down in that thunderous speed, intending to make Shiraishi's shoulder his 'prey'. Shiraishi had gotten used to it in Mahoutokoro, but Kenya wonders if distance makes you forget. Soon he's boring his talons into the flesh, but careful enough to not hurt his friend seriously, crying out a falcon's cry, that sounds more like a laugh than anything.]

[Kenya raises his eyebrows? March he only knew as the month with Easter and his birthday. He shakes his head in answer.]

I got here like two weeks ago. Why, had something happened?

[ That explains it. She sighs hard, still trying to get her wrist back as she starts to explain. ]

A hawk attacked students flying on their brooms in early March, with injuries of varying degrees.

[ A pause, and she feels even more humiliated but maybe he'll understand why she's so pissed if she actually says something. ]

... I ended up falling and breaking both of my legs because of the damn thing.

[Oh. Ohhh... Oh-oh. Kenya lets her go, scratching the back of his head. He had no idea... Well, now he feels bad, except he seriously didn't mean any harm. It's all just harmless fun... Well, for him, anyway. He wonders if there's some way to make it better.]

I didn't know.

[But... her legs got fixed - he knows first hand what healing spells and potions can do - now only make her see there's nothing scary about him... oh hey. There's an idea. With a grin he spreads his arms and transforms right in front of her, fluttering his wings as he makes a circle around her head, landing on a piece of wood in front of her. He cries the typical cry of his species, cocking his head to the side, eyeing her with his dark blue eyes, like trying to say]

See? Nothing scary about me.

[He flutters up again and slowly lands on her shoulder, careful not to hurt her and rubs his beak against her cheek softly, maybe in a gesture akin to apology.]

[ What the-- She jumps a bit at the transformation, uncomfortable and wincing at the cry. At least she isn't bolting, but part of it is because both of her feet are solidly on the ground.

Still, the gentle perch is surprising (not even Saggia takes that much care with her so she still needs the bird keeper's glove) and she's even more surprised by the nuzzling. It's... Unnerving, but some of her tension is leaving. Just what is he trying to do, though...? ]

[He isn't trying to do anything else than get her to relax and not be scared anymore. When she doesn't look like she's about to jump out of her skin anymore he flutters away, landing on his two human feet on the ground again, still grinning.]

See? Completely harmless and domesticated!

[ She's a little surprised at that, staring before huffing and looking away. ]

Well no shit, you're a person not a wild animal...

Exactly my point! Oshitari Kenya, at your service!

[He bows in greeting, since they haven't introduced each other yet. Maybe this can be a new start.]

Nice to meet you, miss Adela!

[He chuckles at her face.]

Hey come on, don't look like that. Let's forget about this and move on, 'kay?

... Yeah.

[ She's still a little embarrassed, sighing at him before shaking her head. At least it seems like she's calmed down entirely by then. ]

Just... Careful, with that. I'm not the only one who got attacked, all right?

[He nods.]

[At least scaring people shitless will have to wait for a while, regrettably. But it's either that, or getting himself killed.]

[ She nods to him before finally heading back inside, her broom in tow. She doesn't feel like flying any more that day after that shock, big sigh... ]
