 A - On the school grounds

[This is not where he was. The last thing he remembers is heading towards Haven, and while he's never been to Mistral, he's pretty sure that it this is not it. They'd barely started their journey, so there was no way he could have already arrived.

Needless to say, he's a tad distraught.]

Ruby! Nora! Ren!

[He wanders the the grounds of the school, calling out the names of his friends. They can't have gone too far, right?]

B - Slytherin Dorms

[It's almost too much to take in. Ending up in a whole other world is the absolute last thing he needs right now. He shouldn't be here. He should be with Ruby and Nora and Ren. He should be heading to Haven. Not stuck at some school learning magic. How can he even have magic when he barely has a semblance?

It's frustrating and he doesn't know what to do with himself. So far the best he's come up with is lying on his bed in his dorm, glaring up at the roof of the four poster bed.]

C - Around the School

[Despite his feelings, Jaune has managed to fall into a bit of a routine. The classes don't make any sense to them and he's barely paying attention anyway. He's just going through the motions. numb to it all. It reminds him too much of Beacon.

Maybe you'll find him at a meal, picking at his food. Maybe he's in the library, staring at a book and vaguely wishing he had an issue of XRay and Vav. Maybe you'll find him just staring out into space.]

A - On the school grounds

[Namine is sitting outside despite the slight bite to the air and the threat of rain that hovers over head. She has her sketchbook in her lap and a focused expression on her face. She hears someone calling out to their friends but she doesn't pay much attention until the blonde haired boy comes into view.

She looks up at him, pausing in her work as he moves closer.]

Are you okay?

[He doesn't look like he's in a good place.]

What do your friends look like? Maybe I've seen them?

[She doesn't recognize any of the names though.]

[Jaune is not okay. His expression is tight and worried, and there's a panicked note in his voice. He'll deny that of course. He's got to stay focused.]

Um, uh...there's a girl, she's short with black hair and a red cape. That's Ruby. Nora's a little taller and has orange hair and is really loud, and Ren's got black hair with a pink streak and a green shirt. He's probably with Nora.

I gotta find them...I think we're really lost.

[Namine blinks placing her sketchbook to the side.]

I haven't heard of them. What house are they in?

H-house? What do you mean?

[They'd just left Ruby's house but somehow Jaune didn't think that was what she was referring to.]

[Hanayo had been trying her best to be a little bit more open and talking to people, so when she came across someone she was sure she hadn't seen before in the library, she felt like it was the best time to try.]

Hello... U-Um, is that a herbology book?

[Jaune hadn't really even been paying much attention, if he was being honest. It was a half-hearted attempt at the work and none of it really made any sense.]

Yeah, it is. Did you need it?

[She shook her head slightly. She didn't need it, she needed to get another book though.]

No, I just figured that it would be a nice conversation starter. I'm sorry if that didn't work.

[Hikaru's never seen this guy before. Too bad the day they're meeting is not the day Hikaru's on his best of moods. Then again, that would be when he'd prank Jaune.]

[Looks like they'll be grumps together. Normally Jaune is a lot more cheerful and friendly.]

I don't really have a reason to be right now.

[He sits down on his own bed before lying down as well.]

[Makoto stood there quietly. He guessed the guy must be new and looking for friends. Though if he was new how would he know his friends were here. Maybe there was something he wasn't getting.]

Playing hide and seek or something? if so that's not how you find them.

I'm not playing hide and seek, I'm looking for them!

[And he sounds a tad panicked.]

We were all together a minute ago.

If that was the case, wouldn't they be close by?

[And wouldn't they be around where they could see them. It was pretty confusing really.]

[Sure they were meant to only fly within the Quidditch pitch, but sometimes Kairi just liked to fly around happily and feel the breeze on her skin and the feel of gliding over the lake on her fingers. However instead she nearly flew into some poor unsuspecting person.]

Sorry! I didn't have as much control as I would like there. Are you okay?

[That was not something that he had expected to deal with today, on top of everything else. Although it has had the added effect of momentarily taking it off his mind.]

Yeah...I'm fine. What were you doing?

[She had at least gotten off the broom, holding it firmly in her hand for the time being.]

[ Weiss is... not very familiar with Hogwarts, so she's still getting used to everything here and today she's wandering around the school grounds. She's not even looking where she's going all the time while she's thinking about a lot of stuff. That's when she almost literally walks into the boy around a corner. ]

Hey, watch where you're going!

[ ...She should do that herself and it doesn't seem like the tiny, angry Ice Queen in white clothes recognizes him at all. ]

[Granted, knowing Weiss that would probably be the reaction, recognition or not. Jaune, however, knows that voice right away. Someone he knows? He's not alone in this weirdo place?]

Weiss! You're here to? I thought you were in Atlas.

[Well, true, her reaction would probably still have been the same at first. Then if she was the Weiss he knows, maybe she'd calm down a bit now when she sees Jaune there. ...but no such luck here. This Weiss just glares at him. It's nothing new that people recognise her, but this seems a little more than knowing her just because of her family.]

Who are you? And what's Atlas?

[Korra sees him just staring at the book. She waits a moment or two before she sees him still just staring at it before she decides to approach the guy, sitting down near him.]

Waiting for it to read itself to you?

[... Hi. It sounded better in her head and it still sounds better than asking if he's okay... Even if her sheepish face looks worried about that too.]

[It's enough to wake Jaune from his thoughts, and make him realize what he was doing.]

Oh, that was my second guess. Well I wouldn't be surprised if the books here did that.

[This is weird and that is nderstatement of the year. She shouldn't wake up anywhere, not after that and this sure isn't what she thinks afterlife will look like.

Her weapons are back home, of course, she's not even asking about them when staff sorts her to Gryffindor and tells her that she'll need a wand to defend herself. She just -- tries to take it all in and they tell her she's not dead. It's all too much at once, not like she has anywhere else to go.

So Pyrrha is spacing out all around the castle too. The last thing she expects to happen is to run into anyone from home; especially not ...him. But there he is, spacing out like he's million miles away from here and Pyrrha almost feels like hiding behind a corner to get out of sight before he notices him. That's... so stupid. Granted, her decision to fight Cinder was stupid too but hiding from him? That sounds so much worse. She's just --- staring at him for what feels like forever, wondering if that look is there because he knows...

And then she's finally approaching him with some very careful steps as if he might just disappear whenever.]

... Jaune?

[Look, she's a lot more worried about how he's doing than she is about herself right now.]

[It's safe to say that Jaune is not good.

He doesn't know why he's here or what he's supposed to be doing. And he doesn't have time to waste here either. He has to get back to Remnant, find Ruby, Ren, and Nora and keep going to Haven. He can't be here right now. It's all he's really got right now, otherwise he'll sink back into that numbness that he'd felt after everything.

When he hears her voice behind him, he freezes. Because he knows her voice and figures this has to be some sort of joke. But the quiet, logical part of his brain says how? Who could possibly play such a joke? He's the only one from his world. Maybe it was just another version of Pyrrha, like that other version of Weiss.

It didn't seem fair.

And he's not sure how to respond. He's scared to turn around]

[ With any luck that box sent him here?? But then she'd have to explain...

Pyrrha can see Jaune freezing when she calls his name. That probably closes some options then. She takes one more look at her own hands to make sure she isn't one of the ghosts, that seem to be like a normal thing here. Nope, hers are still there again, completely normal human limbs and her clothes are back too as if burning to ashes never even happened.

She'd be too scared to turn around in his shoes too. So she's trying to be brave enough to do something on her own. A few steps closer seems like a good start.]

I'm so sorry... About everything, but... ...I promise I'm really here if you want to see me again right now.

[ She won't even blame Jaune at all if he doesn't turn around. ]
