A. Great Hall, Lunch Period (and after class post announcement)

Hello everyone!

[ An overly excited blond was at the front of the hall in front of the staff table, grinning from ear to ear in elation. That he had been heard out was great, and that it had been approved was wonderful! There was a lot of planning to do, and most importantly he had to spread the word! ]

I'm helping to organize a dance next Saturday for Valentine's, right here in the Great Hall! It is open to the entire school, so it would be wonderful of you to attend! And, of course, any volunteering to help plan the party and make it a perfect night for everyone is also appreciated! The event can allow casual dress, though semi-formal and formal clothing is encouraged! It will run from seven-thirty p.m. on the thirteenth to twelve-thirty a.m. on the fourteenth!

[ Perhaps some of the teachers didn't like how showy Tamaki was with his announcement, but any who knew him knew it was pointless to stop him at that time. With a flick of his wand and a soft incantation he sent several dozen parchments flying, landing neatly in-between platters of food on each table so the students would have a physical copy of the details of the dance. ]

If you wish to ask more questions or perhaps offer your expertise, I, Tamaki Suoh of the Hufflepuff House, will be in the Great Hall each day after class until the day of the dance to answer any questions and to work together with you! Thank you all!

[ Quite cheerfully he returned to his seat for the remainder of the lunch period, quite proud of himself and pleased that he could do something fun like this. He was true to his word as well, going to the Great Hall every day after he was done with classes. There, it would be much easier to talk with those who wished to, and to be sure that the future event would be a wonderful experience for as many people as possible. ]

B. Hufflepuff Common Room

[ One of the many things Tamaki has pulled over the course of the past year was getting a beautiful grand piano in the corner of Hufflepuff's Common Room. Although there had been some scolding and lecturing from the headmistress about not doing whatever he wished because it was a school, ultimately it had been allowed to stay so long as the students didn't complain about it taking too much space.

Because of this, almost nightly when it wasn't a holiday, Tamaki could be found using it. Often he would play beautiful classical pieces, and that night was no different when he decided to play a piece of Frederic Chopin's. He would often play quieter pieces, knowing that they were less disruptive than some other songs.

Of course, it didn't mean he wasn't up for stopping long enough to have a conversation, whether it was in the middle or between pieces. There was just something calming about playing at the end of each day, something he truly enjoyed. ]

[Namine loves it when Tamaki decides to play. She sits in the corner with her sketchbook in her lap. The music is wonderful inspiration plus the seventh year usually stays still for hours while he plays which means that she can begin to draw his figure and shape.

Her watery blue eyes flick to him every so often and she has no doubt that he'll probably notice that she's drawing him. When he pauses at the end of the song she looks up again and waves so that he at least knows she's not creepy, just drawing.

The embarrassing part is that while drawing him she began to draw things that weren't there which is unusual for her. Behind Tamaki is a pair of white angel wings with feathers drifting down towards the floor. She's determined not to let anyone see this.]

[ He returns the smile, feeling a little warmer inside as he continues the piece. Truthfully he's captivated by Naminé almost as much as she seems to be captivated by him. From the start he's thought she was feminine, graceful and beautiful, and it's in a way so familiar to him that it almost makes him homesick.

So he continues to play, the notes flawless and sweet while he began a different piece. Two artists enjoying one another's company is a beautiful picture, and he can't help but think that to himself and wonder if she feels the same way. ]

B. Hufflepuff Common Room

[Naminés smile grows as his fingers artfully seek out the invisible tune that floats lightly in the air. She continues drawing him allowing her pencil to scratch out his features in finer and finer detail. There were others in the common room but somehow if felt as if they were alone.

She looks up again and for a moment is lost in the beautiful sight he paints. She wishes that she could draw the feelings that rise in her chest.

One more song and then her picture will be complete. She just hopes he keeps playing for a little while longer.]

[Kotaro almost beelines for Tamaki when he gets into the common room. He's a first year and he looks up to the other body a lot considering they have the same hair and eyes. Kotaro's brilliant blue eyes are wide as he comes up next to Tamaki.]

What song is that?!

It's called Nocturne Opus 9 -- it's part two of the song.

[ It's always nice to see Kotaro, so enthusiastic, charming, and full of energy -- he really reminds him of himself! Tamaki gives him a bright grin as he continues to play, unfettered by the boy's arrival. ]

Have you ever played piano before, Kotaro?

[Kotaro shakes his head.]

No, they didn't have one at the shrine.

[He stands up a little straighter and takes a seat next to Tamaki without being prompted too.]

Why does the song have two parts? Don't you have to play the first part first?

[Her tone is rather flat and his expression relaxed. The white haired boy eyes the Hufflepuff student as if knowing better than to approach him. The only problem is that he's already here so he might as well ask his question and get this over with. He isn't opposed to loud people but they are more fun to watch than to talk to.]

I have a question about Valentine's day.

[His golden pale eyes fix on the other boy and he waits trying to figure out how best to phrase what's on his mind. He really just wants to ask 'what the hell is up with Valentine's day.' but he also doesn't want a certain other student to hear.]

But of course, mon ami! I would be happy to answer it.

[ His expression is bright as he looks up from whatever he's writing down - currently, it's a list of what he thinks the party might need, though some things look uncertain. Near the top of the list is 'Flowers - Ask Professor Branford about Transfiguring them', plain to see. ]

[Seth blinks a few times and immediately regrets his decision to talk to this kid.]

What is it?

[No that doesn't sound right.]

What do people expect for Valentines day?

[Yogi applauds a little in excitement, when Tamaki finishes his speech, excited for the party. He really loves Valentine's. It's such a sweet holiday! People gifting each other, friends and pairs spending time together, the days is filled with love and happiness and sweets. It's almost like Christmas, only better!]

That was a really exciting announcement

[He gives Tamaki a smile, when his room mate sits down again, looking forward to it all. But wait, if it's a dnce, he'll need a partner right? A toughtful expression settles on his face.]

Oh... I wonder, if I can get Gareki to join....

[ His grin broadens after that and he nods to Yogi, though the following statement lets Tamaki pedal back a little. ]

Gareki is your friend from Ravenclaw, right? I'm sure we'll find a way to have him attend and have fun with everyone.

Yes!

[He answers with a smile.]

He's... he's a little shy around people, but I'm sure we can find a way to get him out and enjoy himself. He smiles so rarely... So I want to cheer him up.

[Kaoru is currently leaning on the Slytherin table, listening to him speak. He should have figured this one would do something like this, he is really not at all surprised. But he figured unless his brother wanted to go he probably wouldn't. After he had finished, he moved to stand up before making his way over to the table.]

So... Are you making it a party that everyone has to come to, because you know a lot will avoid it due to what the holiday is about. Unless one can have fun, of course. It's not a party unless something happens.

[Kaoru usually was such a person. It was the best time to be a little mean to girls. Though he had at least stopped that.]

It's not mandatory, even if I want everyone to come.

[ He looks up at Kaoru, a little surprised at someone coming and asking questions so soon. ]

It being a dance party isn't enough? I thought that would be a lot of fun for everyone.

Dance parties are well and good, I'm use to them personally. But it is not a party until something exciting happens. But that could be my thoughts alone.

[He wasn't sure if he would be going as of yet, it would all depend on his brother for the most part since they would probably be going.]

[Valentine's Day was coming up. This was enough to get the young girl to brighten up somewhat. She had been wanting to do something and try and get Ciel involves and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. So when he had finished speaking she got up from the Gryffindor table and made her way over to where he was currently sitting.

As she managed to get over, she held her robes going into a curtsy.]

it's a pleasure to meet you, Tamaki Suoh, I'm Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford, but you can call me Lizzie and I wanted to ask something if that was okay?

You can ask me anything you like, Miss Lizzie. It's a pleasure to meet you.

[ He stands and bows in return, because even if this is taking away from lunch a little bit he's happy that people seem enthusiastic about the idea of a dance. Having fun things like this is an important part of student life too, after all. ]

A dance?

[She seemed puzzled, but it was once again from having lived quite an isolated life, but she knew the person who had stood up and spoke though, so she felt confident in asking them questions since they seemed willing to answer.]

Hello again. [She managed to smile slightly.] You said to talk to you if anyone had questions.

It's good to see you again.

[ His smile was warm when he turned to face her, and he nodded in greeting once he was facing her properly. ]

Please ask me anything you like.

[Sasha wasn't going to say anything while he played the piano. It was a nice sound to the ears. She was just going to sit in one of the big chairs and listen until he was done.]

[ Alas, all good things must come to an end, and so do the final notes of his song play. It's hard to tell if Tamaki notices that he has an audience before this, but when he does he flashes a kind smile, knowing that he's done well to bring some happiness to one of the ladies in the common room. ]

[Taichi doesn't get very excited about this announcement. Instead, he's just going to exit the Great Hall. Though near Tamaki, he will open his mouth in annoyance.]

What a waste of time.

Excuse me?

[ He turns to face Taichi, and without further prompt he begins to ramble and, in the process, makes a scene. ]

There are many things that might genuinely exist to waste time, but the chance to enjoy the night with one another while celebrating romance and love is nothing to if not priceless, especially as a break in our student lives to refresh the mind and soul, preparing us once more for difficult challenges our classes will set before us! I can see no greater reason than to have a party like this!

[Ittoki is enjoying the song almost a little too much; he's almost falling asleep on the common room couch. It's just very soothing. Classical music always made him very tired for some reason.

... he might just doze off eventually.]

[ Heedless of Ittoki's slumber Tamaki continues to play, though he does notice the common room beginning to empty as the hour gets late. With the piano closed for the moment Tamaki approaches, prodding at Ittoki's shoulder in order to rouse him. ]
