A. Great Hall, Lunch Period (and after class post announcement)

Hello everyone!

[ An overly excited blond was at the front of the hall in front of the staff table, grinning from ear to ear in elation. That he had been heard out was great, and that it had been approved was wonderful! There was a lot of planning to do, and most importantly he had to spread the word! ]

I'm helping to organize a dance next Saturday for Valentine's, right here in the Great Hall! It is open to the entire school, so it would be wonderful of you to attend! And, of course, any volunteering to help plan the party and make it a perfect night for everyone is also appreciated! The event can allow casual dress, though semi-formal and formal clothing is encouraged! It will run from seven-thirty p.m. on the thirteenth to twelve-thirty a.m. on the fourteenth!

[ Perhaps some of the teachers didn't like how showy Tamaki was with his announcement, but any who knew him knew it was pointless to stop him at that time. With a flick of his wand and a soft incantation he sent several dozen parchments flying, landing neatly in-between platters of food on each table so the students would have a physical copy of the details of the dance. ]

If you wish to ask more questions or perhaps offer your expertise, I, Tamaki Suoh of the Hufflepuff House, will be in the Great Hall each day after class until the day of the dance to answer any questions and to work together with you! Thank you all!

[ Quite cheerfully he returned to his seat for the remainder of the lunch period, quite proud of himself and pleased that he could do something fun like this. He was true to his word as well, going to the Great Hall every day after he was done with classes. There, it would be much easier to talk with those who wished to, and to be sure that the future event would be a wonderful experience for as many people as possible. ]

B. Hufflepuff Common Room

[ One of the many things Tamaki has pulled over the course of the past year was getting a beautiful grand piano in the corner of Hufflepuff's Common Room. Although there had been some scolding and lecturing from the headmistress about not doing whatever he wished because it was a school, ultimately it had been allowed to stay so long as the students didn't complain about it taking too much space.

Because of this, almost nightly when it wasn't a holiday, Tamaki could be found using it. Often he would play beautiful classical pieces, and that night was no different when he decided to play a piece of Frederic Chopin's. He would often play quieter pieces, knowing that they were less disruptive than some other songs.

Of course, it didn't mean he wasn't up for stopping long enough to have a conversation, whether it was in the middle or between pieces. There was just something calming about playing at the end of each day, something he truly enjoyed. ]

A dance?

[She seemed puzzled, but it was once again from having lived quite an isolated life, but she knew the person who had stood up and spoke though, so she felt confident in asking them questions since they seemed willing to answer.]

Hello again. [She managed to smile slightly.] You said to talk to you if anyone had questions.

It's good to see you again.

[ His smile was warm when he turned to face her, and he nodded in greeting once he was facing her properly. ]

Please ask me anything you like.

I've never actually been to a dance before, so... I actually don't know what they are like.

[That was pretty much her question, not in a form of a question.]

I felt like it was best to ask you about what it is.

It's hard to believe such a lovely maiden has never been to a dance before. I would believe you to be a belle of the ball, someone who would would draw envy towards any man lucky enough to share a dance with you.

[ He's practically glowing, still natural as he continued. ]

It's an event where many individuals share their time and their emotions, dancing the night away on the floor and enjoying the company of everyone else doing the same.

I didn't know it was something, someone would usually go to... I guess I'm not really in the know for much of anything.

[So it's a place to enjoy peoples company, that seemed reasonable enough at least, it was enough to make her nod a little bit in understanding.]

Okay, so then I should get, meet people and make friends.

That's correct! And, if it suits you, you might find the perfect gentleman to share his love with you as well.

[ He pulls out a rose (where did he get it?), offering it to her with a smile. ]

Of course, I wouldn't say no if you were to ask for me, my princess.

[Finding someone was not exactly on top of her list really, but she figured it was something she might have to do soon or later anyway, but right now she simply nods.]

I'm sure plenty of people will be asking you. I mean I assume you are popular after all.

Perhaps they will, and it would be cruel to deny them the pleasure of my company, but doesn't the same apply to you?

[ He's still smiling brilliantly, waiting for an answer from Michiko. ]

I would like to spend time with you, but at the same time we'll see each other at the party anyway.

[Yes, she was using logic here right now.]

Of course we can! And, if I may be so bold to ask, would you save me a dance?

Okay... though I don't actually know how to dance. I know how to step on someone#s toes though most likely.

Is that right?

Well, how about I teach you? It'd be sad if you had to miss out because you didn't know how, wouldn't it?

We never did parties and such where I am from. There wasn't a point.

You'll really teach me?

Of course I will. What times are you free? I can show you how to do a few different styles, depending on how much time we have.

I have a lot of time since I'm in the seventh year of school.

[Although she thought of the best idea.]

Perhaps in the evening of Thursday. Would that be a good time?

We can definitely do that, and know that I look forward to it Princess Michiko.

[She gives a small smile, giving a little bow, her hands in front of her.]

As you like.

[ He returns the bow, still smiling warmly for her while doing so. ]

[She smiled sweetly before turning her head.]

I should get to the library... I still have a lot of work to catch up on. But it was nice meeting you again. I enjoyed the talk.

And I as well! I look forward to seeing you for our dance lesson.

[She nodded with a smile before heading off. She was going to loom forward to it.]
