It doesn't matter what you were doing before you wake up here, how you managed to get here at all, or where you arrived at. All that mattered now was that you're suddenly in a new location and people are so insistent that you're a wizard. Whether or not that sinks in just yet, you may as well go through the motions and humor whomever -- or whatever -- brought you here.

Here are a few prompts to get you started, but there's no requirement to use any of the given prompts. If you feel that you would like to use something besides the prompts that are given, you're more than welcome to do so.

Prompts

Prompt A; Okay so maybe being dropped off in a bustling street in front of some old, broken down looking building isn't the best way to start your day, but inside there seems to be a number of curious customers. Given the state of the building, this place seems pretty busy otherwise. The Leaky Cauldron huh...? Guess there's no time to ponder where that is, because the man behind the bar seems particularly interested in you. Soon enough, he's leading you to a location. Great, maybe some answers... until you come to a brick wall...

Great. What are you supposed to do at a brick wall? Surprise! After a few taps on the bricks, there's suddenly a pathway opening up and then... another street? What's going on?

Prompt B; Well now that you've been taken to a place called "Diagon Alley", you seem to be left there by the man who was supposedly going to help you out. If you're lucky enough, a tall man with a bushy beard might happen to come to the rescue. All this talk about being a witch/wizard.... Are these people out of their minds? Clearly they don't think they are, because he'll happily help you find your school supplies and books.

Or maybe you decided to wonder around by yourself and check out the shops after figuring things out from the other people on the street going through the same process. Just be careful not to carelessly use up all of the money that's saved in your vaults in Gringotts though.

Prompt C; Nine and Three Quarters..... Supposedly you need to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters, but everyone is telling you that it doesn't exist. How can it not exist when so many people were looking for it? Have people been playing with you for a fool? Well, that seems to be the case until you notice people running into a.... Were they running into a brick wall? That's completely stupid but yet... they disappeared? Apparently you must be stupid for trying it, but somehow or another it works out and... There's more people with trunks and supplies like you have. More importantly as a train that wasn't there before.

Hogwarts Express.

Once on the train, finding a place to sit might be a pain depending on how long it takes for you to find it, but why not make a few new friends and maybe try to find out just what's going on? Meanwhile there is a trolley going around for anyone who wants a snack.

Prompt D; Boats.... Why did it have to be boats? And didn't you refuse to put on those robes that you were required to buy? Why has your clothing disappeared in substitution for these robes? Just don't rock the boat. Pretty sure the others riding with you won't be happy if you tip it over. At least land seems to be coming closer along with a giant castle.

Prompt E; After being sorted into your houses and sitting at your respective tables, you'll be given more freedom to move about and talk than you have been this entire time. Use that time to figure out if anyone else was in the same predicament as you are. Surely you can't be the only one confused. And this large spread of food that never seems to run out is a bit too tempting to decline.

Or maybe you've already returned to your new dorm common rooms? Take your pick.

[ Yep. He's definitely more annoyed now than he had been a moment ago. Why the hell would anyone follow him, anyway? It wasn't like he wrote "bother me" and stuck it to his own back or forehead or anything. ]

None of your damn business! [ His arms fold in front of himself, glare full on her. ] Why's where I'm going important anyway?

[Leaving the common room in the middle of the night seems like a good reason to bother someone. Though Hikaru is just curious and she doesn't want him to get in trouble.]

It's important because you're important. [She states as if it's a matter of fact.]

[ Boy does that bring up the past... For a moment Gokudera just stares at her, the harsh glare slipping to something softer as he remembers when Tsuna said something similar to him. It felt like years ago, that it has him actually shocked now.

He shifts awkwardly, and a soft 'tch' escapes his lips. Then, finally: ]

I don't know where I'm going.

[Hikaru smiles, swinging her arms back and forth as they walked. He probably wants to clear his head which is why he's left the dorm and that's a feeling that she can understand.]

We should explore some then.

[You know, before a teacher catches them and they get in trouble.]

[ Trouble is his middle name! Well, okay maybe not but he does find it fairly often. Whether he's looking for it or not... ]

Like hell. Go back to the dorm already! I don't need some girl following me around.

[Hikaru pouts.]

I'm not some girl! I'm Hikaru. Hi-ka-ru!

I don't care! Can't you see when someone wants to be left alone?

[ Raised voices. Definitely gonna make the paintings wake up if they continue... Or worse. Get caught by the groundskeeper. ]

What if I want to walk in this direction too?

[It's a reasonable question though Hikaru is just being stubborn and she wants to help. Even if he doesn't want her nearby. Though the more they walk the more discouraged she's feeling, there has to be something more she can do.]

Tch. Do whatever you want then.

[ If she wants to go in that direction, he'll just take the other side of the hall. He stops, turns, and starts walking the other way, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his pants. Not that he can see much... but at least the moonlight is spilling through the windows. ]

[Hikaru pauses and then follows a few yards behind him. Her footsteps were soft against the floor and she notices the silence and darkness that descends over them.

It's spooky here at night.

She hears some sort of howl from the forest and she jumps feeling a chill travel down her spine. She's brave but she will at least point out that this atmosphere is tense. She wonders if the school does it on purpose, knowing they were out after dark.]

[ Having grown up on the streets of Mafia riddled Italy and sought his own place among their ranks for so many years, he's not unfamiliar with being tailed. Gokudera doesn't have to hear her footsteps to know she probably wouldn't leave him alone, and to be honest he's fine with her doing it. He just didn't want to talk. Especially because he wasn't lying about wanting to be alone. All day they'd been going through one new thing after another and he hadn't had much time to digest much of any of it.

What he wanted to do now, was explore the castle. He only had himself to fall back on here. There were no other guardians and no Jyuudaime, only what little skill he managed to keep from his world. That meant he had to be ready for whatever came, if anything did.

Turning to the windows, he moved to look out into the courtyard of the school. Nothing seemed too interesting and pretty much everything was dead. Well, except for the soft sounds of the snoring paintings every so often. ]

[Hikaru is both glad that she doesn't loose sight of him and that he's not trying to loose her. She isn't exactly the quietest person when it comes to tailing. She stops every so often to stare at some statue that looks stranger in the dark before realizing she's almost lost him and runs to caught up. She's okay with silence but now that she's sufficiently lost she doesn't want to loose sight of the person who knows the way back to the common rooms.

Why doesn't everything have to look so strange at night?

Hikaru glances out the windows as well though she's still about 5 yards away from her partner in crime. Really it is all him but she's tagging along so they are partners in a way. She looks out at the forest and gasps.]

I think something is out there.

[ When the girl got closer, he hadn't really noticed. Gokudera was lost in his own thoughts of how in the hell he was going to deal with everything here, when her speaking broke him out of his contemplation. At first, he's annoyed. ]

You're probably seeing a ghost roaming the woods or... something.

[ Needless to say though, he presses his face closer to the glass and shields his eyes with his hands so he's able to see out better. At first he doesn't see anything. It's just a normal (what is normal in this kind of place though?) night as far as he can tell, and then there it is. A shadow moving in the distance, moving into the woods. ]

Tch. It's none of our business what's out there. I'm not aiming to be killed my first day here.

[Hikaru feels really nervous and she quickly falls in step next to Gokudera. She's staying closer now her eyes glancing out towards the forest.]

Do you think that it's another student?

If it is, it's none of our business. They're the ones stupid enough to be out there.

[ Gokudera's not really a heartless guy, but he's also not going to go rescuing someone that was stupid enough to ignore the rules that badly. At least they were staying inside the castle. ]

Yeah, I guess so.

[It doesn't sound like she believes that. Hikaru trots after him and then falls in step next to him.]

We should head back soon.
