2nd Full Moon
Prelude, The Lake, Late Night
[ Jiro was beginning to have a strong dislike for the creatures on the grounds, or at least those on the lake.
It had been a routine inspection. He was checking the grounds, making sure that everything was safe for the school from all accounts. It was one of his duties. However, part of it unfortunately involved going across the lake by boat... That, perhaps, was his mistake.
Maybe some of the people awake would have heard the startled yelp and the following splash of something falling into the water. One of the boats was then capsized and floating upside-down in the middle of the lake, with a violent pool of bubbles breaking the otherwise calm surface water.
It took some time before the red-clad man emerged, walking out of the water to the shore with steam rolling off of his body in the cold night air. He collapsed in the snow, resting a bit and, should someone move the hat on his head, they would see nothing but his hair and bones. However, he didn't intend to linger, and as soon as he had the strength he limped back towards the castle.
Perhaps, in the morning, there would be rumor of a walking skeleton on the grounds. Hopefully, it would remain only a rumor. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He was shivering, weak, and exhausted by the time he re-entered the castle. The steam coming off of him had stopped by then, leaving Jiro soaking wet and walking slow, back towards the staffroom. There were spare robes he could change into there, ones that were warm and dry. The sooner he could do that, the sooner he could begin to feel like himself again, and work on a slow process of regaining his strength.
It was never so simple, and the sound of footsteps immediately had him on edge, nearly snarling at the source before remembering himself. Still, there was something in his tone that betrayed his agitation when he spoke. ]
Who's there!?

Who's there!?
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
No, I'm patrolling tonight and the staff room is on the way.
[It boils down to 'she's walking around and it doesn't really matter where she goes']
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He bows a little, allowing for her to lead the way. He honestly can't say he minds the company, all things considered. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
How is work treating you?
[Besides wet.]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[Terra's watery blue gaze looks over at him.]
What is it doing to you?
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ Even if it had been frustrating to get the boat back on top of everything else. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
I'm sorry to hear that.
[However the mental imagine is rather funny.]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He shakes his head, though at last he also seems a little more relaxed simply walking with her. True, the fact that he's still soaked to the bone is bothersome, but this way he at least has pleasant company on the way. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
It'd be problematic if I went into the lake so I think I'm safe.
[She smiles at him before turning towards the hall.]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[She hasn't exactly gotten the chance to learn either.]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He nods to her, walking ahead a little before opening the staffroom door so she can go in first, if she'd like. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
Do you have a way to dry off?
[He has a lot of hair.]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He pulls out a black robe then, draping it over his arm before looking for a change room. Dry clothing will help immensely, because even if it isn't burning him anymore damp clothing isn't exactly comfortable. His hair, however... Well, he's out of luck on that account.
That, and he's starting to feel a little faint. Unfortunately he might have to turn in early if he's feeling this much of a thirst... ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
There. I hope that helped some.
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
It must have been some kind of spell she cast, and after a moment he breathes out a soft chuckle. ]
Well, thank you for that, it did help.
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
It's no trouble at all. I'll give you space to change.
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
[ He nods to her, moving into the changing area regardless so that he can change properly. His clothes really do need to be washed, even if they are dry now. It's strange, how many people were willing to show him kindness...
But, that might change if they knew what he is. For the time being, it's a nice dream. ]
Inside the Castle, An Hour Later
It seems like everyone here has secrets.]
