A. Library (or Hufflepuff Common Room, late night)

[ Ugh... How did she manage to do this to herself?

A very, very tired red head had basically all of her texts for her classes out, currently going through her Defence Against the Dark Arts texts and trying to go over her notes. It felt like her brain couldn't catch anything anymore, but she had to keep going or she'd never catch up in time for exams...

So, for the past couple of weeks, Adela had been in the library every day and staying up late in the common room every night just trying to catch up and even cutting out things like practising Quidditch or her regular flights with her owl. It felt like she hardly even slept, and even with that orb from Professor Brandford she was still having trouble with all of it.

She had to pinch herself again to keep from falling asleep on top of her work, trying to go through it once more. She really needed to stop that, if she didn't and it happened in Defence Against the Dark Arts again...

Better not to think about it. Besides, it really was her own fault in the first place. ]

B. Random Girl's Bathroom (or the hallway outside of it)

[ Every so often, whether it was for classes or for meals, Adela was forced to take a break. It was one of those times, and after washing her hands she took it on herself to wash her face as well.

That was about when she got a good look at herself in the mirror, and in spite of herself she huffed a quiet laugh. Wow... She looked terrible.

Maybe she hoped it would help to lessen the effect of her eyes looking so puffy and feeling so tired, but she continued to wash at her face regardless before using her robe to wipe it dry. Granted, that wasn't as easy to do when it got into her hair too, but still. As long as no one bothered her about it she'd be okay. So she'd just make her way out, her bag in tow. Time to get back to it, then... ]

[Rin notices her when he rounds the shelf with DADA books and recognizes her almost immediately. Having been through the experience of falling asleep over books, he knows it's best not to do it for too long. Time to repay the favor, ain't it? He walks over to her and gently rattles her.]

Hey... You really shouldn't do that here. Could get you into trouble.

What? I'm awake...

[ She has fallen asleep in the library before but come on! She hasn't for... Well, a while. Not today at least!

That's when she she actually sees who's there and she blinks hard at him, only barely managing to bite back a yawn before addressing him. ]

Wait, you're Rin, right...?

[He says manner-of-handedly and casts a glance at the books surrounding her like a mountain range.]

Let me guess... You're trying to catch up.

[Ryou always found himself working late into the evening, not to catch up but to make sure he was ahead sometimes due to situations that would prevent him back home. Giving a small sigh, he closed his book and leant back into his seat.]

Why must work be so hard?

[ She jumps a little with surprise at the voice, and that's about when she realizes that she's taking up like half the table and this guy is in front of her...

Hurriedly she starts putting away the books she doesn't immediately need, only barely managing not to drop anything before finally talking to him. ]

If it wasn't hard it wouldn't be work, right...?

[Pinkie Pie had been busy with getting a few things and something just so happened to be in the girls bathroom. So in she went and was quick to look on over at the other. her smile was quick to widen before she bounced on over.]

Hello~ What brings you to the almighty bathroom. Were you planning on making something in here. or. Orrrrrrrr, were you planning on doing something unthinkable?!

Adela stares at the woman, unable to do much more than that initially before she shakes it off and goes back to what she was doing. ]

I was just using the bathroom, that's all.

[Yes, that was the unthinkable in her mind.]

[She isn't the only one up at night trying to study. Makoto had found himself trying to do exactly that, but had instead found himself close to falling asleep on the chair instead. The book he had on him tilting slowly but surely forward.]

[ Normally Adela would just let it happen, let him sleep there. Still, she knows how uncomfortable and groggy someone could be from waking up in that kind of position, and... Well, there have been people willing to help her recently, so she can at least pass some of that kindness along.

After a beat she puts down her text, approaching Makoto and shaking his shoulder a little. ]

Hey. If you're gonna sleep do it in your own bed, you're just gonna end up with a head ache if you do that here.

[It was enough to cause a reaction out of the older teen as he nearly jumped out of the chair before looking over to who woke him up.]

O-Oh... I guess I must have fallen asleep. Sorry.

[Hikaru smiles as she takes the sink next to Adela.]

You look really tired. Why not go to the hospital wing and take a nap?

[She's done that once or twice.]

[ She starts a little, stopping once she realizes that it's just one of the other girls and that she's not alone in the bathroom...

This girl is actually a little shorter than her too. That's a weird feeling, but she's probably a first year too. The mention of the hospital wing has Adela sighing and returning to the sink, shaking her head. ]

I can't afford to right now. Besides, it's not like I'm sick.

[Hikaru blinks and stares up at the girl.]

You can't afford it? But you look like you need it.

Also the health woman will let you sleep there or give you a potion if you look run down.

[She smiles.]

I do that if I push myself to hard in practice.

[Namine smiles when she sees her friend working so hard on her studies. She takes a seat next to her and lightly taps her shoulder. Her little kitten is in her lap though she doesn't stay there for long.

Soon the kitten is bounding across the table and messing up Adela's books.]

Oh... sorry. I actually came to help.

[She picks up the kitten bringing it back to her lap.]

You doing okay?

[She looks tired and Namine is worried.]

[ She can't stop the cat from messing up some of the parchments and Adela just sighs before putting them back in order. Still, it's Naminé there so she can afford to relax a little... ]

I've still got a lot of work to do, otherwise I'm not gonna catch up in my classes. You don't need to stay up for my sake, okay Naminé?

[ ... Man she kind of hopes that incident that happened in her Defence Against the Dark Arts the other day hasn't started spreading around, she doesn't need that embarrassment on top of everything else. Even if she is starting to feel really sleepy and her head is starting to hurt a bit... ]

[Namine just smiles at Adela.]

You look like you need a break so I thought we could work together and get your work done faster. If you don't sleep you won't learn anything. Pushing yourself to hard is bad.

[She holds Snow back who is now purring happily in the girls lap. Her brows furrow slightly and she looks a little worried.]

Plus if I help you then it'll help me in classes too.

[Kairi felt a little tired for once. Her body feeling heavy, or at least heavier than it had been before. Training was not something she expected to be that intense after all. So flopping down on the closest chair she could, she was quick to spot the other.]

[ Ugh... She feels guilty, suddenly. With her head bowed she tries to continue going over her notes, frowning before murmuring something else. ]

M'not sure I can play Quidditch for a while, not until I'm caught up.

I always thought as a fourth year there wasn't as much work than during the year of exams, but I guess I was wrong about that.

[There never seemed to be an end to homework she figured.]

[ ... She's sure she's seen this girl in her classes before, so maybe she's in the same year? The emblem says Ravenclaw though, so it's definitely not all of them... ]

[Aidou always took naps when he could and so when he wasn't he was in the dark part of the library mark students work they had handed in. There was nothing that was outstanding in terms of what was written, but he had to admit some students are at least trying to get it right.

He was reading through another and wrote the mark down before yawning. He was tired and he felt like he could just continue the nap while there was no classes. So with the scroll at the side, he leant forward, arms in front of him and head lightly placed on them.

Nap time now so that he is more awake in ten minutes.]

[ ... Guess even teachers needed sleep.

It's uncomfortable to know that he's right over there, mostly because of what had already transpired. For the time she tries to ignore his presence, instead going back to her studies. Ironic that the professor for the course she's studying is right there...

She can't focus! Adela can't help the sigh of frustration that's let out, still frowning at the text in front of her before resuming at least attempting to copy down a more condensed version of the information for her own purposes. She can sleep later, it's time to study now... She can ignore that Aidou is there, right? ]
