Care of the Magical Creatures

Good day, class. I am proud of you all making it here despite cold weather. [Uro himself didn't mind the cold, but he knew a lot of people who didn't enjoy being out when it was freezing. There weren't even that many Magical Creatures who liked to be in the snow either.]

Today, we have a practical lesson. Everyone, please follow me. Be aware that some of these creatures might be a little on the edge due to cold... so please be careful around them.

[3rd years will meet Salamanders, 4th years have Unicorns (an adult and its foal), 5th years have Bowtruckles, and the 6th and 7th years get to all try flying a Hippogriff (as they did on their 3rd year, this is a small test to see if you still remember how to handle them).]

Around the Halls

[Between classes and after school was over, Uro mostly kept to himself. He wasn't such a fan of socializing with his colleagues and usually never spent time in the teacher's lounge if it wasn't necessary. He preferred to spent time observing the students and learning what kind of people they had here - maybe even if they would be useful for some mischief, one day.]

[Uro is satisfied with how well the class was going. It had been a good choice to have a lesson like this once in a while. He will give a voluntarily chance to earn more points by making an essay, but nothing larger than that, this time.

Once the end of the lesson is near, Uro will ask all the students to back away and ask them to thank the unicorns, so they can leave once again.]

[ It's hard to say goodbye, but with everyone else Adela does as she's told and bids farewell to the creatures in front of her. She almost doesn't feel the cold or tired, not with how warm the experience left her.

Even if the lesson is short, it's well worth it. At least for her.

Once they were closer to the school Adela took the time to ask however, showing interest in class in what was likely the first time in months. ]

Professor, is there anything we need to know about today's lesson? Like maybe in the text...

[It was always nice to see different student take interest in the class. Much more so when they were students who hadn't in a while. Made the lesson well worth it.]

Mm, well. Your books cover the subject pretty well, but if you feel like the experience was different, you are always free to write an essay about it. A good essay is a good chance to win some house points.

[ An essay... Would she have time with what she was already behind on? Adela didn't know, but it was worth a shot anyway. Adela nodded thoughtfully, making note of that. An essay on Unicorns, huh... It'd probably be a foot and a half at minimum, if there were no guidelines said like that. At least if she was remembering correctly.

She nodded to him, showing that she understood that given assignment before returning to the rest of the class. Whether they'd be dismissed then was up to Uro, but at least Adela was going to apply herself once again and, hopefully, improve her own grades at the last.

Even if she'll end up sick at the start of February because of it. ]
