Care of the Magical Creatures

Good day, class. I am proud of you all making it here despite cold weather. [Uro himself didn't mind the cold, but he knew a lot of people who didn't enjoy being out when it was freezing. There weren't even that many Magical Creatures who liked to be in the snow either.]

Today, we have a practical lesson. Everyone, please follow me. Be aware that some of these creatures might be a little on the edge due to cold... so please be careful around them.

[3rd years will meet Salamanders, 4th years have Unicorns (an adult and its foal), 5th years have Bowtruckles, and the 6th and 7th years get to all try flying a Hippogriff (as they did on their 3rd year, this is a small test to see if you still remember how to handle them).]

Around the Halls

[Between classes and after school was over, Uro mostly kept to himself. He wasn't such a fan of socializing with his colleagues and usually never spent time in the teacher's lounge if it wasn't necessary. He preferred to spent time observing the students and learning what kind of people they had here - maybe even if they would be useful for some mischief, one day.]

Oh? What for would you turn people into frogs then?

[He's standing right next to Uro now, amber eyes trying to pierce through Uro. He wonders if it would be worth taking a trip through his mind and whether he can still pull it off. His lessons in legilimency are far away and he never used it that much.]

Experiments?

[He adds, because that's the first thing that comes to him.]

[Surely Uro's mind would be full of very interesting thoughts to discover. Most that he wouldn't want Sano to know.]

Well, I am the teacher for Care of the Magical Creatures... it would only be natural to experiment to see if humans-turned-frogs act the same way as frogs.

You’d have to ask Terra that. I’m just curious what achievement knowing that would bring.

It would just quench my curiosity. Nothing more, nothing less.

[He smiles.]

So you’d scare the living daylights out of the students just to satisfy your curiosity. Quite the sadistic nature, aren’t you?

[He’s still smiling and keeps his voice light, but he has no doubts about what he said being true.]
