[Eli had a habit of coming to school earlier than the year usually started. While she loved spending time with her family, sometimes it was really hard to concentrate on her studies back at home. Her little sister was still too young to attend so she kept bothering her about what it was like and to show her new spells she had learned. She didn't get much chances to be alone, so coming to the school was the best option when she wanted to finish her studies.

Well, extra studies. She had completed her summer assignments early on, but now she was working on something different. Once again, she might surprise a few of her classmates by knowing the spells taught to them already, but she wasn't doing it just for that. She was just too eager to learn... well, part of it still was the element of surprise.]

[Seeing Eli at the courtyard isn't a rare sight. Seeing Honoka rushing at her as soon as she sees her is -- a thing, that happens even much more often since she does this everywhere, any time of the day and always looking like she hasn't seen Eli in forever even if it's been just a little while. Yes, even in the library though this is not there.]

[Wow, she is Honoka's hero now! She's probably been her hero many, many times before too.]

[Eli-senpai is the best and Honoka gives her a quick hug right away! ...Okay, maybe it's not so quick because this is Honoka, but there's nothing wrong with hugs!

[Oh, hugs are good and Eli definitely wouldn't mind hugging her a while longer before letting go. She's such a cutie, like that, this girl.

Ravenclaw common room

[Seth likes to read as well, mostly because it's a way he can watch people without them knowing. He finds people far more interesting than magic though he's working on his studies as well.

With a book in hand he heads down to the common room with Tremor on his shoulder. The little rat likes to sit up there and he's nice enough to squeak when he has to go to the bathroom.

Seth stops at the large couch next to the fire and smiles at the girl already sitting and ready.]

Is it alright if I join you?

[Eli looks up form her book and smiles at the boy.]

Of course. I don't mind at all.

[Having company never was a bad thing, even if they would both just be reading. It still felt more homely, like that.]

[He nods and takes a seat next to her. His book lays open in his lap while he rests his head in his hands.]

Are you reading that for school?

[Seth's voice is soft as he asks though he doesn't look up from his book.]

[Athrun also happens to be in the library at the moment when he notices Eli in there, too. He had been looking through the bookshelves for a book he wants, but he decides to take a break when he spots her. He steps away from the shelf he was looking at and heads in her direction.]

Hey. You've come back early this year, huh? How was your summer?

[Eli smiles brightly as she sees Athrun approaching her. He was one of the students here she had really missed during the summer.]

Hey. Yeah, I wanted to do some studying. While I love spending time with my family in the summer, I don't get much time alone. The summer this year was even busier than usual.

[Traveling to Russia, helping father with his research, helping mom with house tasks... their family really didn't want to use house elves.]

How about yours?

Was it? I'd like to hear more when you have the chance.

[Though his smile wavers a bit when Eli asks him how his summer was. He spends as little time in the same place as his father as he can manage, and doesn't like to talk about his home life.]

It wasn't bad. I got my summer homework done early, so when I got here I jumped right into getting a head start on studying, as well as some flying practice. I've been here a few weeks and have gotten a good bit done.

Great Hall

[Usagi's favourite place was the Great Hall. Mostly because of all the food. There was such a variety. But she was just finishing as she got up, looking over towards the Ravenclaw table before making her way over.]

Excuse me? Can I ask you something?

[Eli looks up from the table at the young girl. My, she's cute.]

Yes, of course. How can I help you?

[She pauses for a moment.]

I am new to this school and apparently I need to study a lot to be able to catch up, but I am terrible at that type of thing. I just wanted to ask if you would be willing to help. I'd make it up to you of course.

[Fuu was sitting at the table, glancing at the books in which she had to read and catch up to be in the year they said she is meant to be in and as she looked over she gave a smile to the person sitting across from her.]

Studying as well?

[Eli was just finishing a chapter when the girl speaks and she smiles at her, with a calm smile.]

Yes. I feel restless during the holidays if I can't study at least a bit.

Considering one has to during the holidays, it makes sense.

[She closed her book for the moment. She didn't need it after all at least.]

Courtyard

[Kaoru was carrying various materials and not paying all that much attention to his surroundings, mostly because of the fact he can't see in front of him so when he feels a slightly nudge he stops walking before peeking out of the side.]

Ah, sorry. I have so much to carry I can't see in front of my feet.

Oh, sorry, I should have watched my surroundings better. [She had been in her thoughts, so it was easy to miss someone walking towards you.] Do you need help?

[He paused for a moment, he was to use to having Hikaru around so that they could carry each others stuffy, but now he wasn't here for the time being he wasn't sure if he should ask for help or not. He wasn't use to it.]

I... should be fine really. I mean I could fall over at any point or I could drop something, but I'm good.

Ravenclaw Commonroom.

[Elsa was already sitting on the couch, reading another book, trying her best to study up on what she might or might not be learning. She didn't even notice that there was someone else there until she finished, closing her book and nearly jumped slightly.]

I-I'm sorry. I didn't see you there.

Oh, no. It's okay... I'm sorry if I startled you... I just didn't want to disturb you when you seemed to into reading.

I just finished reading actually, but even so, I should pay more attention. That's how accidents happen.

[She had plans to possibly find another book to read or do something else, which she should really be doing.]

Great Hall

[Allen was happily eating away. if the other was to see the Gryffindor table would see a rather high pile of food that is slowly being devoured by a white haired boy. Taking another bite he was about to grab something else when some of the pile fell to the floor and spread over the floor causing Allen to quickly move and start clearing up.]

I'm sorry. [He wasn't even sure who he was saying it to.]

[Well, this is certainly a good way to get Eli out of he thoughts for once. She had just passed the table to get to the hallways, but her journey was interrupted by tripping over some food. Sigh...]

Did you ever think you have too much food on your plate?

No because for me that amount is actually normal.

[It sadly was, now he felt bad because it would go to waste since it had been on the floor. However he was still currently going to clean it up from the floor, placing it in a pile to the side.]
