DADA Classroom
The Lake
[Lightning tended to have most of her meals in the classroom. She wasn't much of a social person. Since she was a teacher, she had the option of taking her meals wherever, and grading the assignments at the same time.
There's quite a stack this time. Currently she was going over the previous school years essays to see if they had been given a satisfactory grade. Not that she could change them now. It was mostly for ideas.
If a student or a fellow teacher wants to bug her, go for it. She might be willing to have a bit of a conversation. Or she might just use her cat, Loki, to chase you out of the room.]
The Lake
[Having grown up most of her life on island before this place, the lake reminds her of home. Even as a student, she would come here to get away from everyone. This was also a good place to fine tune her curriculum for the upcoming school year.
Feel free to bother her. You might get a head start on what's coming up.]

DADA Classroom
Hey, sis. Are you busy? Do you mind if I eat with you?
no subject
Don't want to spend time with your housemates tonight?
[Was something up with Serah?]

[Going over to take a seat.]

[Still, it was the summer holiday...]
I was thinking of going to Diagon Alley to get up on a few books, and some new quills. [Shooting a glance at Loki, who didn't seem to care.] Did you want to come along? We could finish getting your school supplies... and a pet, if you'd like.
no subject
[And a pet. She would like one...]
Is that really okay?
[She just didn't want to trouble her. She didn't particularly need a pet, but it would be nice.]

Which means a lot of catching up.
He steps in the room with his hands in his pockets. He doesn't wear his robes unless he has too so it's just paints and a white button down for now. He's almost expecting to get yelled at about it at some point. Bright eye eyes land on Lighting in a moment of consideration before he spoke.]
Could I borrow a minute of your time?
no subject
How can I help you?
no subject
[He holds up a notebook with a small smile. She seems so serious though he isn't one to judge. He's been alive for longer than most and so patience came easy.]
If you have the time, of course. I don't with to ruin your meal.
no subject
It's fine. Are you trying to get ahead for classes?
no subject
That's right. I'm technically a sixth year transfer. [Who looks like a 22 year old but that is beside the point.]
There are a few classes I didn't get though the book does well for playing catch up.

Poking her head in she looked around before realizing there was someone else in here.]
Oh, I'm sorry. I just wanted to see what the classrooms were like.
no subject
It's alright to come in. Unless you break something, I see no reason why you can't look around.
no subject
[What was there to break anyway? She started walking into the class rom, looking around.]
Is it okay to ask what classroom this is?
no subject
Defense Against the Dark Arts. Or DADA. I'm the professor.
no subject
[This was one of the classes she had on her list of classes she was meant to be taking when the school year started.]
So what will this class be about?

The Lake
With a small sigh he glanced around, seeing what else was about before he could see the teacher. Well, he knows not to do anything that could get him in trouble.]
So... professor, right? What brings you to the lake?
no subject
I've been coming here since I was a student. It's quiet here, and no one bothers me when I do work. As for what's in the lake, right now it's too warm for them. Try again at dusk, and you might have more luck.
[Logic.]
no subject
[For some reason he rather enjoys him coming out when he does.]
Though you were a student here as well professor? I would have never imagined that.
no subject
I'm not the only former student who came back here to become a teacher. There's been quite a few of us over the years.
no subject
[He's not planning on it anyway.]

She's not he type to usually interact with people like this, but having a sulking student was not something she could deal with easily. This would have to do.]
