Not Adjusting Well
In the hallways near the Hufflepuff Dorms
"Mozart?" [Madoka began softly calling. Her hands were pressed against the nearest wall as she hesitantly proceeded down the hall.] "Mozart? Where are you?" [Winding up in a different place was unsettling enough, but then to realize you were completely alone only increased the agitation.]
[She paused when she thought she heard someone headed this way. Panic swelled in her chest. There had been a room about ten feet earlier. She debated turning around, and ducking into it. Ah- it was too late. The footsteps were closer, they had to have spotted her by now. Madoka waited pressing a little closer to the wall, hoping they would pass soon and without incident]

No matter how many times they asked, she still hadn't managed to explain it without it seeming odd, she she had chosen to ignore it instead.
She had soon stopped, yawning slightly before moving to glance over.]
Hello?
no subject
[.. But no such luck. Although Madoka couldn't tell that the other person was looking at her, they had to be the only two here at this moment. The voice had to be addressing her.]
H-hello? [She replied somewhat meekly.]
[After a moments silence and a fair amount of hesitation she added] Can you tell me where we are?
no subject
We are at Hogwarts. That's what people have told me... I think.
[She didn't seem certain, but after a moment of thinking about it, she nodded.]
No they did.
no subject
[Yes, that's what she was told too, but none of it had made much sense. A school for wizardry and magic. It just didn't sound real] Do- you believe them.... about everything? [Some of Madoka's tension lessened. In part because this girl didn't sound panicked, and also because they were sharing a similar story]
no subject
[Can't really say otherwise when you have seen such a thing in person.]
I mean just believing what people say isn't what I am doing, but seeing evidence for me worked.
no subject
At least, you have that.
So- they really think that we are capable of learning magic?
no subject
[She paused for a moment.]
Or maybe not really... But we can learn as I found in my First Year classes.
no subject
[Madoka didn't entirely follow. Was this a game for the people who brought them here, or for the people learning magic? ]
[Or, neither.]
So you've actually cast a spell? What did it do?
no subject
[More so since there was no wind, so that couldn't be explained either for the most part.]
I've done other spells, but not as good at them. It's not my talent.
no subject
I'm not sure I'd be able to do anything like that. So you are at least ahead of me.
[Which was totally truthful. As of yet, Madoka hadn't tried a single spell yet]
I doubt that it's something I'd have any skill for either.
no subject
[All she had was games, she couldn't really do much else of anything. Except maybe nap and help in solving murders. Those were skills, right?]

As her footsteps got louder and louder, she was keeping her books close to her chest. No matter how many times she came down here it was still creepy when by oneself. However the moment she turned the corner, she jumped, dropping her things before looking at the person she just spotted.]
Ah, I'm sorry. I jumped when I shouldn't have. This basement is creepy after all.
no subject
At the sound of the books colliding with the floor, Madoka emitted a choked squeak, and she instinctively covered her ears. Slowly she placed one hand back onto the wall.]
You jumped, because of me? [Madoka felt a small pang of guilt, she hadn't meant to startle anyone] I'm sorry, I.. must be in the way here. [Wherever here was. Everything had just happened so fast and it hadn't made much sense to her.] Are... you here by choice?
no subject
[She moved to kneel down, starting to pick up the books that had fallen before of her reaction.]
Your not in the way really, as far as I can tell and as for if I'm here by choice I am... but that is a extremely odd question.
no subject
Maybe it's because the hour? [Not that she even knew what time it was, to be honest. Whatever time it was, the hall was fairly empty]
That's a relief. [The answer to her second question made her feel slightly more uncomfortable] It- it is isn't it? [There was no denying it] Somehow, I just- [What should she share about her situation?] I was brought here. I don't really know why, and I don't know what they have done with my dog.
no subject
[She paused for a moment, she was brought here and she didn't know why. Considering what Hogwarts was, she found that to be more than a little odd.]
Well I assume it would be because it's a school. You were probably sent here to learn. As for your dog... they aren't allowed here. If it was a cat, frog, owl or rat you probably would have been fine.
no subject
Even, for someone like me? [Or- maybe the other girl hadn't noticed yet] Service animals aren't allowed? [She relied on Mozart for more than a cat, frog, owl, or rat would have been capable of]
no subject
[That she was at least aware of anyway, she they didn't really have many with problems that she was aware of anyway.]
But basically either you ask and if it's not allowed there are probably other ways, but honestly not sure how it works in that area.
no subject
Do.. you know where her office is from here? [Madoka was trying to sound calm despite how her body language was conflicting with her tone]
no subject
[She figured she might as well help anyway.]
no subject
no subject
[Because god only knows what he might be up to. In some ways she doesn't want to think of the possibilities. She held out her arm for the other.]
I'll lead, just take my arm, okay?
no subject
Adela's steps slow to a stop as she looks to the other girl, blinking a couple of times. ]
Uhm... You all right, there?
[ Had she accidentally startled the other? She doesn't know, sure the basement halls can be kind of creepy but... ]
no subject
I- I'm.. fine. [Not said in a convincing fashion.]
[Then she second guessed her own answer] Do you know, whose behind this? [She took a chance, hoping this stranger wasn't involved in this mess herself. This was technically a kidnapping, wasn't it? Sure, there had been mention of a magical school, and all of that but it couldn't be real could it?]
no subject
[ She raises an eyebrow, stopping and turing to face the other completely. This kind of creepy, how she's saying it, but she should at least hear the other out. ]
no subject
No, I'm sorry. Nevermind. Just pretend I didn't ask anything.
no subject
[ She's frowning then, unsure of what else to do. That the other girl is in Hufflepuff colours already raises a flag, she might be another new student like that weird girl who was raving about wings. ]
