1st Wayfinder is Routine and Indecision

A. Library

[ Though it's not something frequently advertised, Terra is still putting his best efforts into becoming an Auror, as his foster father Eraqus did. It means that Terra remains studious as well as physically active, and this is one of the days where he's exercising his brain power and intellect rather than his brawn.

Terra can be seen in the library then, taking extensive notes on curses and their counters in the day's Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson, his focus entirely on the paper and books before him. It also mean's there's a good chance he's distracted, whether it's unexpected company or an unexpected pest who comes to try for his attention. ]

B. Quidditch Pitch

[ Seeing the Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff game has him more fired up than ever. He hadn't expected that game to blow the one Gryffindor and Slytherin had out of the water, and it means he's got more tough opponents to worry about than just their age-old rivals.

Maybe he wouldn't be so fired up had he heard recent news, but for the moment Terra's practising with the rest of his team, working on formations, protecting them from bludgers, or reviewing things with Jean and Sano.

It doesn't mean he can't be stopped, and while he's on the ground to take a slight break he looks around. There's the usual crowd watching the game, and maybe there are a few familiar faces to discuss things with as well. ]

C. Hogsmeade

[ The secret santa's been drawn, and Terra has to give a gift to the Herbology Professor, Mrs. Ackerman. It has him stumped, as although he's decent in her class, he hasn't really gotten to know her that well. Or any of the teachers for that matter, but he didn't have to get a present for any of them.

He can't exactly ask around about her interests either, but then what does he get her? Maybe something to do with plants, but regardless of what Terra intends to get it leaves him wandering around Hogsmeade without much direction.

It also leads him to bump into someone, and he stops when he does with a concerned frown and an outstretched hand to the other person (providing they ended up falling anyway). ]

Sorry about that. You all right?

[It's one sunny morning, when Rin walks in on the Gryffindor team practice and looks around, if he can spot the beater.

He finds him almost immediately, talking with Jean and the coach, about what RIn assumed to be beater techniques, if their gestures are any clue, but as soon as the three of them spot him, they freeze. In fact, everyone freezes once they see him, the captain of their greatest rival casually strolling onto the field. The coach give him an incredulous look, like he's about to carry him out personally and Jean breathes fire through his nostrils.

Rin raises his arms, the international gesture for surrender.]

I'm not here to pick a fight!

[He's aware of all eyes following him as he approaches the group, stopping in front of Terra. He can feel everyone holding their breaths as they watch expectantly, what's gonna happen next.

And then Rin bows.

It's a deep, back bending bow, that puts the top of his head on the same line as Terra's navel.]

Thank you for saving my sister.

[He declares, for everyone to hear.]

I'm in your debt.

[ Naturally it's a little surprising to see Rin there. Normally it's frowned upon for team members in other houses to intrude on practices, but he's sure Rin has a reason to be there.

What he's not expecting is the gesture given.

Terra's openly shocked at it, staring at him and taking a bit of time before he can respond to it. ]

I'm just glad she got out all right. All of us were ready to jump in after her, I just happened to reach the lake first...

[ He might seem a little flustered now. ]

You don't owe me anything, Rin. But thanks.

That doesn't make it any less of a great deed.

[Rin counters as he straightens up, discovering that the coach and Jean have disappeared somewhere. A casual look around reveals they are doing some beater practice a few feet away from them. Rin turns his attention back to Terra.]

You're wrong. I'm in your debt. She's... Gou is... My little sister is the most precious person to me. I don't know what I'd do, if I lost her. Seriously, if there's something you need, or something I can help you with, please let me know.

[ When he starts talking about his family, it surprises Terra more -- even though it shouldn't. Eventually he does smile though, relaxing where he stands as he meets Rin's eye again. ]

All right, but I still don't think you need to worry about it. You're not the only one who'd do anything for family like that.

In the end, I'm glad I could help.

[Normally, Rin doesn't like to admit how close he is to certain people, but normally, he doesn't nearly lose his little sister.Now is not the time for being prideful, but for admitting, how much Terra did for him. He nods at the beater one more time and sighs.]

It's a good thing you were there. [He clicks his tongue, when Terra waves it off again, insisting to be humble. Dammit, just accept it already, so this awkward scene can be over. Rin didn't brave Gryffindor practice for nothing.]

If there's anything I can do for you just tell me. I insist.

[Gou had been out to buy a few things, mostly presents for her brother and secret santa, but as she felt the bump against her back while she had been looking into the window was enough to nearly cause the young girl to fall over. Moving her head she was about to say something until she saw who exactly it was.]

I'm alright.

Glad to hear it, Kou.

[ He nods to her, smiling and standing tall again. ]

I guess you're doing some holiday shopping too?

[She nodded slightly, her eyes glancing over now and again from him toward the window she was looking in and back again.]

Yeah, sort of. I mean I am shopping for the holidays for my family and friends, but I need to find something else as well.

[She paused for a moment before her focus was on the other.]

What about you?

Same here. Ven and Aqua don't go to Hogwarts right now, so I figured I might get something to bring back to them and Eraqus.

[ He looks back to the shop's window, his expression falling a little. ]

... I need to worry about the secret santa as well. I don't know what to get for the person I drew.

I'm sure you'll find something nice for them that they'll like.

[She was a little surprised as she looked over.]

Your doing that as well. I have to look for someone myself. But I don't know them enough to know what to do.

Well, maybe we can find something nice looking around here. It'd be easier if you knew something about the other person, too.

Whose the one you are looking for?

[Gou was thinking about it for a moment, she had an idea of how to solve her problem at least.]

[ He debates to himself on telling her, but considering it's not Gou he's getting a gift for, there's no harm right? ]

Mrs. Ackerman, the Herbology Professor. I've been in her class before, but I don't know well enough what she might like for a gift.

Well... I mean they are a herbology teacher, so maybe something to do with plants? Something to help them or something? I'm sure they would appreciate something like that.

[Seemed simple, right?]

[Sousuke didn't have anything better to do than actually study, so he was more often in the library than he usually was. With Potions out, he was out of Auror studies - he needed to figure out his other strengths just in case... well, just in case he was banned from Quidditch for even after graduating.

Looking for a place to sit, he notices Terra there. Well, he might as well see if the guy would mind company.]

Hey. Mind if I sit here? There other tables are kinda full.

Go ahead.

[ Terra nods to him, relaxing a little as he makes some room for Sousuke to join him.

Maybe they're fierce rivals on the pitch, but right now? There's no reason to be hostile to him, and under most circumstances Sousuke can even be nice to talk to. In short, he's welcome company. ]

What're you working on, Sousuke? Maybe we can compare notes.

[Sousuke smiles at Terra with a thankful smile before sitting down. Rivals they may be, but that wasn't something to be brought into library.]

I'm trying to see if I can improve my Charms and Transfiguration essays... especially the latter, since I've been on a dreadful strike.

Right. I've got mine done, I was just going to review it.

[ He's going to pull his previous work out, having just put it away for the moment. ]

I'm not done the Charms one yet though, I've been having a bit more trouble with that.

[Sakura had a few things that she needed to do, things she needed to study or work on and usually the library was a place that she could go to in order to focus on her goal and study. However today was not one of those days. Today she had to do something else. She had to find a perfect present for the person she got as a secret santa and she knew that he was currently at the library.

Quietly she had looked around to see where they were before she planned on speaking.]

Hello... I hope I'm not being too loud considering we are in a library.

[ When Sakura announces her presence Terra looks up to meet her eye, shaking his head and relaxing a little. He's seen this girl around the tower before, though a name isn't coming to him for the time being. ]

Not at all, you're fine.

[ ... And right back to studying he goes, apparently. ]

[She had gone to quietly sit down on the same table for the time being. She didn't know what to say without seeming to be a little too obvious. He was studying so maybe that was a start, perhaps?]

What are you reading?

I'm working on a recent Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson actually.

[ He takes a moment to look at her again, raising a brow. ]

Is there something you need help with? I can take some time out if you need it, Sakura.

Ah no, I just wanted to ask a question and maybe find out something about you. It's odd isn't it?

[Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea after all.]
