1st Dream

[School Grounds]

[Rapunzel had no idea how exactly she managed to get here right now, but she didn't all that mind. She was in the great outdoors, which is what she had wanted. However her guide wasn't with her she was felt confident that this wasn't where the lanterns were set off.

The young blonde soon found herself laying down on the ground, her best friend Pascal sitting beside her blending in to his surroundings as she simply looked up at the sky. She had no idea where she was, but it didn't stop her from relaxing for a moment and taking it all in.]

Inside, toward the Gryffindor Tower.]

[She had found herself sorting and had been told how to get to her new common room, but as she walked bare footed on the cold stone floor toward the direction she had been told. Her long blonde hair trailing along behind her as she walked. Some might accidentally step on it, others might even trip on it while the young woman was trying to find her way.]

What are you doing?

[Bright yellow eyes peer down at the girl curiously. He doesn't remember her and her hair is incredibly long. Call him curious but he can't help but stop and say hello in his own passive way.]

Laying down on the floor. Taking everything in.

[She smiled happily as she moved to sit up.]

[Not the answer he's expecting but okay.]

What are you taking in?

[He asks his musing aloud since she doesn't seem to upset at him bothering her.]

Everything. This place is amazing after all~

[She laughed slightly, standing up.]

I-Is that odd?

No.

[A little.]

Are you a new student?

I... guess I am. I didn't know this was a school.

[She literally had no idea. She just figured it was a castle, maybe where she had to be, but she figured that wasn't the case.]

Yup.

[He smiles.]

A school for wizards and witches.

[He's sure that she can do that, though she'd have to see a teacher for details.]

[She is a little bit confused.]

A school for witches and wizards... I didn't know there was magic.

Yup.

[He doesn't seem phased or concerned about her confusion.]

You should go to the castle and see. Maybe you'll learn something about yourself.

Learn something about myself?

[Honestly, she didn't think there was much of herself to learn about really. Except that being outside the tower was excellent, but terrifying at the same time. Though at the thought of the tower it was slowly dawning on her.]

But what about my mother? She will kill me for being here as I need to get back in the next few days.

[Seth, having no concept of parents, blinks at her.]

We can send her a letter. I don’t think she’d have sent you here without it being okay. This is one of the safest places in the whole world.

If I did that she would know I went out without permission. She didn't send me here.

[Even if this was the safest place, her mother would still be furious.]

[Seth is currently at a loss.]

Um... let's see about sending her a letter. You're safe here.

That isn't the point, I am meant to be at home... She will get mad if I'm not there.

[Yeah, she is extremely worried, but it will pass soon as she sees something interesting.]

Oh! What was that?

[Her eyes glanced on over toward the trees. She was sure she saw something.]

[Seth turns to see what this strange girl might be peering at. She isn’t making a lot of sense and he feels as if he’s missing some important piece of context.]

What’s what?

[He’ll drop the home subject for now but intends to come back to it shortly.]

Didn't you hear the ruffling of the bushes over there?

[They started to ruffle again as she started to take her bare feet toward the edge of the forest.]

[Seth shrugs.]

No...

[He follows behind her.]

Where are you going?

To where the ruffling came from.

[Wasn't that obvious? She was getting closer and closer to the forest though.]

Huh...

[Seth quickly follows her, his brow creased in worry.]

The forest is dangerous.

Is it? What is in there?

[Maybe it was the things her mother warned her about, perhaps?]

All sorts of things. It's where a lot of creatures who aren't accepted by the world make their home.

[Which is something he can relate too.]

A-Are they scary?

[She is holding herself close at the moment, she actually had no idea what was out there but it seemed like everything was scary.]

They can be... it depends what you find scary.

[He knows its different for everyone.]

My mother always warned me that most things are scary in the world. Ruffians and thugs being an example.

I don't think you'll find anything exactly like that in there.

[Seth chuckles softly, his hand running through his hair.]

By definition a thug can be anyone, even a student. It's generally someone ill mannered. A Ruffian is a synonym and pretty much means the same thing. [He shrugs, digging his fists into his pockets.]

The creatures in there might be considered ill mannered. Some, like Centaurs, are far wiser than we are and see the world differently. They're harder to understand. [He looks over at Rapunzel and smiles.]

Then you have Unicorns which are very nice, to women anyway and Thestrials which most people can't see. They have a bad reputation but they are good creatures. I'm sure there are all sorts more in the forest too.

So I have to beware everyone?

[That was what she felt like if thugs and ruffians could be everywhere. Though to be honest the list is really long.]

[Seth chuckles and then shakes his head.]

No, not everyone. Are you afraid of me?

Little bit.

[She figured she might as well be honest, she knew nothing about him after all.]

Why's that?

[Seth knows that he's tall but he wouldn't hurt anything. He isn't sure if he's even capable of fighting.]

Because for all my life, I've only ever known my mother. So seeing people is still a little scary, even when I met my guide Flynn.

[She figured just in case she'll get a weapon later maybe.]

When I first met him, I knocked him out.

[Seth chuckles softly.]

Please don't knock me out.

You aren't scary, so I won't. Just.. don't walk up behind me and we should be fine.

[She thinks anyway.]

[Seth laughs, loudly.]

I won't, I promise. I think you're scarier than most things I've seen.

[He waves at her.]

Come on, let's head up to the castle. You'll learn more there.

Am I? I'm sorry if I seem like that.

[She'll learn more in the really scary looking castle? Was going in there really a good idea.]

Do we have to? I like being outside.

You're scared.

[He's just guessing but it isn't hard to tell.]

Well, we should get inside before it gets late. It is big but I promise it isn't that bad... would it help if I stayed with you? [Except she finds him scary too...]

I mean I'm excited, but yes. Scared. I mean what if there are horrible things inside that want to hurt me?

[She nervously started to walk.]

I'll protect you.

[He sounds very confident.]

Re-really?

[She does feel a little better about that.]

[He'll certainly try to.]

Of course, lets go.

[She nodded slightly as she started to walk on slightly head. She was nervous, but she figured it was going to be okay.]

[Seth laughs softly and follows close behind her. Once inside he'll guide her to the teachers lounge and things will get sorted. It isn't anything worth worrying about now.]
