1st cola can
Courtyard
[When Zelman wasn't sitting bored in class or sleeping back at the dorms, he was skipping class outside and enjoying himself in the courtyard as it was a cloudy day for a change. Not like he was allergic to the sun like vampires in myths, but he still disliked it. He was drinking a can of cola (one of the muggle things he really liked) and just chilling in his regular Slytherin robes.]
Hallways; evening/night
[As a true vampire, Zelman enjoyed walking around in the evenings and nights. Usually he avoided members of the staff, but lately he hadn't really cared doing so: he wouldn't be advancing to the next grade this year so it didn't really matter if he got into trouble or not. Rules were stupid anyway.
He only attended Hogwarts to have a place to stay and hide when he wasn't asked to do something. Not that most people really knew that. He was just your old regular troublemaker who disappeared every now and then. There were very little who knew his actual identity and what he did during the war with you-know-who to have ended up in this mess.
Really, he wouldn't be here if he didn't have to, but the place did have good points. Just not enough for him to actually care and act like a normal guy.]
Sano's office: Closed action
[After the incident with Adela and Matsuoka, Zelman had waited on a call to Sano's office to discuss what his punishment would be. It had finally come and Zelman was so close to actually skipping it, but he knew better than actually make Sano mad. He was still indebted to him for actually providing a place to hide, so he should at least try being obedient.
The keyword being try.
That's why he's at least late for the appointment.]

Hallways
[ The sight before him was far too unusual to ignore, and it left Jiro staring at the man before him. He had been about to begin his rounds for the night, but Zelman's presence was capturing far too much of Jiro's attention for him to ignore. ]

Yeah? And you're...?
no subject
[ What was that look... It was almost as if--
Wait. ]
Do you not recognize me?

[That would be a no.]

Hallways; Night
Guess someone else likes to be out at night?
no subject
The nights feel more comforting. No loud imbeciles around.

[Zelman says this from where he's sitting, looking at the girl from under his hat. Something to do? Something to do.]

I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sit there if it's already taken.

She was quick to jump over a couple of hurdles before skidding to a stop and looking around. She was sure she heard something, but as she looked she couldn't see anyone standing out. At least until she started to move again, turning the corner only to come face to face with the Slytherin.]
Ah, hello. Didn't expect anyone to be there.
no subject
Even if it does make him a bit hungry.]
It's normal for students to wander the hallways?

[To her at least, it was a little if not a lot strange as she moved to step to the side.]

When she clasp eyes on him, she had a few things she wanted to say.]
You know, you look like one of those creepy stalker kind of guys. At least that is how you come across to me and what is with that can you have?
no subject
[Creepy stalker isn't necessarily that far from the truth, if you asked the right people.]
Cola.
no subject
[She has been told that at least a few times, but usually she figured it was because she hit a nerve or something. Not that she cared much.]
Cola... Is that a muggle commoners thing? How did you get something like that here?

[It looked like something she would recognise. A muggle thing people would call it around here. But she couldn't help but want to know and so had walked right up to him, hands at her sides to actually ask.]
no subject
[A question for a question, it seems.]
It's just a popular muggle drink.
no subject
[She answered right off the bat and quickly as well.]
I guess it must be either a fizzy drink or a canned coffee.

I thought the Slytherins had class right now...
no subject
I don't think that's any of your business, kid.

Yes. Sit.
[He motions to the comfy sofa chair sideways to his table and wonders about his decisions, as he does his entire life. He had helped Zelman, because he thought the vampire deserved it, because no matter your attitude, manners, or style, everyone deserved a chance, especially if the had helped others such a big deal as Zelman. Even though the vampire would deny it, if Sano ever brought it up, but he had been a great help for the wizarding world.
That still didn’t change the fact that most of the time Sano just wanted to strangle him, or rip him apart with his bare hands. It also didn’t apologize messing with Adela, or made his job any easier. He felt Zelman was his responsibility, so he had to deal with him, but he also couldn’t just throw him out and there, deal alone. He had given his word and he never took it back. That wasn’t who he was. It was complicated. Sano hated complicated things. He still had to deal with them however.]
What am I gonna do with you…?
[He doesn’t mean to say it out loud, but once he does, he let’s it be.]
Can you explain one thing to me? Why is it so hard for you to just leave people alone? Even go through the extra effort to look for trouble.
[Out of bed, way past curfew and nowhere near his dorms? Smelled like purpose.]
no subject
What is he going to do? Zelman would like to comment that he could just leave him alone, but it's not like that would ever happen. The day they met and Zelman had agreed to come to Hogwarts was the day he sealed his fate at being watched.
At the questions though, he shrugs, smiling arrogantly.]
I'm not allowed to interact with anyone? That's kind of harsh.
[Of course he knows that's not what Sano meant.]
I wasn't looking for trouble for myself. I looked forward to causing trouble for others.
no subject
Of course you can interact with others. Friendly.
[He sighs exasperatedly, as he hears Zelman’s next words. Damnit, at least pretend to be sorry!]
Don’t I know… See, that’s the entire problem. You cause trouble for students - my students, which makes it in turn my trouble, because guess who’s responsible for these kids. But you are also kinda my responsibility.
[There’s a small conflict of interest right there. He knew this wasn’t going to be easy, when he had made Zelman the offer, but he’s appreciate at least a little cooperation from that damn stubborn grandpa. But he’s not one to complain, never has been in the first place. It’s done, so all he can do is deal with it, and do his best to… well, get through with it with as few casualties as possible.]
Look, regardless of our relationship, I can’t tolerate you hurting, pestering, or otherwise bullying my students. Consider this a warning. If it continues and the headmistress hears about it - and she will, because I will tell her, if you go too far,- I can’t promise you anything anymore.
That said, I’ve decided on your punishment. First, you’ll apologize to Adela.
