4th Moon | Attack of the people

Castle Grounds
[Another full moon another time in her wolf form. Had it already been a month since the last time? Never the less the young girl wondered around the grounds, smelling the smells she was sure she hadn't smelt during the first time and simply enjoying the time she had outside, alone.

At least until she heard a noise coming from the trees.]

What's a wolf doing at Hogwarts?

Maybe they're one of those werewolves

[It appeared to be two males talking, she couldn't tell who they were or what house they were from due to the darkness, but them walking out and toward her was enough for her to step back slightly. She didn't want to fight, she didn't. But the more she moved back, ears low and worried. She was not use to people seeing her like this after all.]

If they are a werewolf should we do something?

Sure and I got the perfect idea since it looks like it won't hurt us.

[At those words the boy had found a stone and proceeded to throw it at the young wolf, causing her to yelp and continue to back away, not wanting to fight back.]

It's not fighting back at all. Come on wolf, fight back!

[The other boy proceeded to join in with trying to hurt her just to get a reaction, to get her to bite. Throwing stones poking her with sticks and even going as far as to use a spell or two on her. Two hours past before they stopped and started to go back to the school before curfew, leaving Michiko laying down on the ground, bruised, beaten and bleeding.]

Next Day - Great Hall and Hallway
[She had been seen to and was left with wearing bandages on her arms and legs. She hated how she felt right now, but knew that she had to deal with it for just today until she could get back to her room and find her ointment. So she ate her meal and when she was done, had started to walk off, keeping to herself as best as she could.

She didn't want anyone to worry after all.]

Now, I do believe we have a problem here. Little boys should know better than to torture and torment others. Wouldn't you agree?

[ Before the boys could get too far, Jiro had appeared in front of them. How he had gotten there so quickly was a mystery in itself, but what wasn't an uncertainty was how furious the man appeared to be. He didn't delay either, immediately snatching the ears of both boys in a tight pinch between his fingers before beginning to pull them back towards the castle, ignoring their distressed yelps and coarse protests.

The incident had been reported and true punishment left to their heads of houses, but there was something else that needed to be done. Barely thirty minutes past him dragging the boys off, Jiro returned with a first aid kid in hand, that time much more calm and visibly sad to see the wolf as it was. ]

I'm sorry that you were on the bad end of their childish cruelty. It shouldn't have happened to you.

[ He knelt down nearby then, waiting to see how the wolf would react. He had heard the boys talk about if she was a werewolf or not, and although she didn't fit the classic description... Part of him wouldn't be surprised to find out if it was true. ]

Please, allow me to treat your wounds. I won't let you come to more harm, all right?

[Michiko couldn't do much except whimper slightly. She was sore all over and couldn't do much except lay around. Tomorrow was going to hard to explain to people, especially if she had to wear bandages for a while.]

[ He waited a little longer before finally approaching her, opening the kit and pulling out some alcohol and cotton swabs. ]

This might sting, but I need to make sure these are clean before covering them.

[ While he was doing that, he looked to her not only to check for a reaction but to converse as well. ]

If you truly are a werewolf, I promise you it's all right. We all have our own secrets to keep, myself included.

[Michiko was not use to this sort of pain, but she knew how others reacted and so when she yelp rather loud she felt like she could understand the injured a little more. How the pain much feel when she put something like this on them.

With her head on the ground she just stayed where she was, knowing full well that making a fuss would get her no where fast.]

[ The fact that the wolf didn't try to retreat told Jiro that either she was a werewolf or simply too hurt to move, and sincerely he hoped it was the former because the latter... Well, he could protect her until she recovered. Even if it meant a bed in the woods for a while.

Still, there was one last test he could use and possibly earn her trust; He took a breath before smiling, making a point of making sure his elongated fangs were fully visible to her. ]

You see? You're not the only one with something they need to keep to themselves, at the risk of being hurt or worse if others knew the truth.

[He wasn't the only one? But she couldn't quite figure out what exactly he meant by that, after all she only knew of what she was. She didn't think there would be other kind of creatures that go bump in the night. But she still laid there quietly, not much else she could do after all.]

[ He was quiet while treating her wounds, unaware that she actually had no idea of what he was. Still, the fact that baring his fangs didn't get a reaction only affirmed his suspicions, and that this wasn't only a werewolf but likely a student at the school.

He tied off the last bandage for the wounds he had treated, uncertain if he had gotten them all and looking her over one last time. ]

Can you stand at all?

[ If not, of course he'd stay with her or even possibly bring her in for treatment if she'd allow it. That, however, was entirely up to her. ]

[She just kept still the whole time, it hurt but she knew what they were doing was a good thing. Once the last of the bandages was on she was still for a moment before slowly forcing herself yo stand up.]

It's all right to take it easy. I'll watch over you until you can recover, if you'd like.

[ He kept his voice gentle, understanding as he watched to see if she was forcing herself too much. The forest really was safer than the grounds at the moment, at least for her. ]

And you won't need to worry about those boys anymore. They're being dealt with as we speak by their heads of houses, though I did tell them that it was a wolf they were hurting and attempting to provoke rather than a werewolf.

[She knew she should take it easy. Perhaps for once though she was being stubborn, or perhaps it was simply because she wanted to go to somewhere less open and more hidden as she slowly made her way to some bushes before once again lying down.]

[ He waited until she was down again before getting to his feet, quietly leaving.

He wasn't gone long, carrying with him a bowl and a flask. He set the bowl down on the ground near her head before opening the flask, filling it with cool and clean water. ]

Here. You should try to keep your strength up.

[She looked at the bowl for a moment. She was sure she didn't need it necessarily, but she did appreciate it. She however watched the bowl for a moment before leaning forward to take a drink.]

[ At last he smiled again, making himself comfortable as he watched her drink. Maybe he wouldn't be able to make the full rounds tonight, but if his hunch was right and this werewolf was in fact a student he had a feeling that in a way he was still doing his job. That and... Well, he couldn't just leave her like this. It would be one thing if she was healthy, but injured as she was she wouldn't be able to defend herself if needed.

So, unfortunately, if Michiko wanted some time alone she wasn't going to get it for a long while. ]

[Michiko was pretty much just going to lie there the whole time, at least until the sun would start to rise then she knew she had to go into the forest in order to change back. After all there were some things she would not like others to see and the fact she isn't wearing clothes is one of those things.

So off to the forest she slowly goes.]

[ He was a little surprised when Michiko got up, watching quietly as she went into the forest. Well, maybe it was dawn, but if she knew of him then he supposed he could deal with the sun for a little while. It had been a long night for the poor thing too, and unlike him she probably wouldn't be allowed to rest throughout the day.

For the time being, he'd wait for her to emerge. ]

[Michiko had remembered where she kept her clothes and as soon as she changed back, made sure to quickly change before checking to see if he was still there.

She didn't want to come out and reveal who she was, but when she saw he was still there she was trying to figure out how to go around.]

[ He was in fact still there, waiting patiently for the person to come out and listening intently for her. ]

[Michiko sighed slightly, knowing that she can't keep hiding for much longer as she slowly started to get out.]

... Well, that does explain a few things.

[ His expression wasn't stern in the least, and instead he wore a warm smile before nodding to her. ]

I had wondered why you were so intent on staying out late at night. I'll help you get back to your dorms without trouble.

[ Even if it meant walking in the sun at least twice, to the castle and then back to his hut, but he could manage at least. ]

No, it's fine. I can get back myself. It will be fine.

[She didn't want them to do any more after all. However she figured she still owed them one for helping.]

I insist. Beyond being hurt, you're also technically in the forbidden forest and out of bed past curfew. If you were to come across anyone else, it could mean unnecessary hassle for you that I could prevent simply by being your escort.

[ He spoke with a tone that didn't leave any room for argument. He wasn't going to let her be until he knew she was safely back in the castle at least, even if it meant a little time in the sun. ]

It... really is fine. I learnt of a couple ways to get back without being seen.

[Considering she did it the month before, she felt confident about it.]

I still insist on the grounds of your injuries. If you would be kind enough to indulge me, if only for my own peace of mind, I'll leave you be as soon as you enter the castle.

[She soon nodded and simply continued on walking quietly toward the castle. As soon as they reached the castle, she turned her head slightly, a small smile passing by her lips.]

I should say thank you... for helping.

Think nothing of it. Even if it weren't my job, I would have been happy to.

[ At last he smiled for her again, bowing slightly...

It might look a little more convincing if he wasn't visibly burning just a bit in the sun. Which meant he'd need to get back to his hut and soon. ]

[She did look slightly concerned about him so she head on alone, hoping he would go back to where ever he stayed and hoped that he was okay.

[ He did do that at least, immediately going back to the groundskeeper's hut and sighing as he finally got out of the sun. That little bit of sun shouldn't have exhausted him so...

Damn. He'd probably have to find someone to feed from soon, even if he didn't want to. How to solve that dilemma...

Well, that was for another night. He needed to get to bed, then. ]

[Seth isn't about to forget the werewolf he had that run with. It had been fun and rather unexpected. He catches sight of the wounded figure and runs towards it; as always not to careful about curfew.]

Hey, stay with me.

[He lightly rests a hand on her shoulder.]

Come on. You can't stay here.

[She cowered slightly, wanting to curl up more to the touch. It hurt and even if she tried to curl that would hurt more. But it was obvious by the way of a wolves whimpering.]

[Seth pulls out his wand trying to remember the spell to take away aches. He just needs to heal her enough to take her to the castle.

He might be able to carry her but he doesn't want to make it worse. He flicks his wand and watches as a white glow falls over her. He doesn't, however, know if it worked.]

[Michiko didn't understand what was going on or what spell was used on her, but she knew at least she could move to some extent.

Slowly she moved to stand up, legs still a little shakey for the time being. But she could still manage.]

[Seth smiles.]

Yeah, just follow me okay. I'll get you real help.

[He gently attempts to lift her and guide her up towards the castle.]

[She realised where they were heading and had tried to stop. Was really going into the castle a good idea?]

[Seth looks down at her as if in understanding.]

Do you have a better idea? I'm going to hide you so don't worry.

[He gets out his wand again and lightly taps her nose. She'll feel a cold sensation wash over her.]

[She couldn't help but shiver slightly, it was cold and why was it so cold? What exactly was it? She had little to no idea. But she didn't really have any ideas except hide in the forest, which she turned her head to slightly.]

Come on.

[Seth removes his cloak and tosses it over her as he guides up up towards the castle. The spell is a cloaking spell and it'll help her pass easily through the castle.]

[Knowing she didn't have much choice she started to simply walked next to him.]

[Seth exhales a breath of relief as they go walking through the halls of the school. They manage to make it through with relative ease. Which is good considering the time of night.]

We're almost there.

[His voice is low and soft.]

[Being nearly there was a good thing, it meant that it wouldn't be long until well she didn't know really. But it seemed like a good thing never the less.]

[Seth pushes the hospital wing door open and guided her through. He then leads her to a bed so she can curl up on the soft mattress.]

Here.

[He pulls curtains around her so she's hidden and then pulls a blanket over her.]

You rest here. I'm going to speak to the teacher.

[She whimpered slightly, now really wanting anyone else to know. When morning came it was another matter, but right now she just didn't want anyone else to know.]

[Seth is the only one who returns and when he does he merely places a glass to her lips.]

Hey, drink this. It tastes awful but it'll help.

[He pets her neck lightly.]

Don't worry. No one knows you're here. I'll keep watch over the night too.

[She followed instructions well enough as she stayed the same for the good portion of the night. However before the sun would rise she would make sure to bury herself underneath the covers for rather obvious reasons.

[Come morning and her change Seth leaves, there is a change of clothes at the foot of her bed with a small note.
