5th Fashion Choice | I'm thinking it over.
Outside
[The party a few nights ago had been fun, he had fun himself at least, but he just couldn't quite shake off a feeling he had closer to the end of it. It wasn't exactly anything he had felt before, so it was quite annoying. Sitting outside on the grass, legs close to his chest and his arms wrapped around him, he was trying to figure it out.
What was it about the party that made him feel so terrible? As he focused on the events that happened until that it slowly dawned on him.]
Well this sucks...
[He looked to the side, figuring he should go figure out where his brother was, or at least someone he could prank or something to focus on something that wasn't what was in his mind right now. Where was his mothers letter when he needed it.]

Huh?
It was weird to see one of the twins alone when she knew both of them were at the school... And, more than that, he looked down. Without really thinking much more on it she approached, not really trying to sneak up on him but not loud and announcing her presence before sitting next to him. ]
Hey.
no subject
Hi. What brings you to the outside world?
no subject
[ Kaoru could probably take a wild guess at who that was, considering that they're in the same house. Still, she didn't dwell on it for long and instead made herself comfortable, looking back over to him for a beat. ]
Do you want to talk about it?
[ Apparently "what's wrong" was a question she was skipping then. ]
no subject
[Want to talk about it, he wondered if he should or just keep it to himself until he was comfortable. Shaking his head slightly, he wasn't sure what to say.]
Talk about what exactly?
no subject
no subject
[He is just going to smile slightly.]
no subject
[ She sighed though, leaning back on her palms because it was putting her in a bad mood that he was lying to her like that. ]
I'm pretty sure I've told you before that you didn't have to tell me if you didn't want to. You could have just said no instead of trying to lie about it.
no subject
Just personal issues I am currently going through. That's all.
no subject
[ She nodded, letting the scowl disappear from her face as she just looked at the scenery before them. Maybe she should have just let him be, but being silent company was also an option wasn't it? ]
no subject
Can I ask you a question?
no subject
Sure. Ask away.
no subject
[It was a curious wondering and one that might not be something he was asking for a reason.]
Just a question I've been wondering for someone I know.
no subject
It had her heart fluttering for a second and she thought it over, because he was asking for a reason, right? So she had to do her best with this, even if she wasn't the most experienced. ]
Well, if it was me... I don't know if I could say anything if I knew they liked someone else, even if I know it's probably the smartest thing to do if I didn't know for certain. I mean... You said you think, so you don't know for sure, right? So they might not.
[ ... She was botching it. She sighed at herself, shaking it off as she tried to reword it. ]
I guess what I'm trying to say is that... It's still worth saying something. People aren't mind readers, and how're you going to know if you don't?
no subject
[It wasn't just an excuse on his part. Or it was but he wasn't going to admit it right off the bat.]
But what you said did make sense, I guess.
no subject
[ She met his eye again, sitting up a bit more while she did. Not that it was helpful to meeting his height but... ]
It's better if you're honest about it, if you ask me. Even if you're not sure of how things'll turn out.
no subject
[Making it sound like he hasn't been honest before, though in some cases this happened to be true.]
Such a wise person you are.
no subject
[ Hey, in her experience she had to fight to get anything out of him even if it was just that he didn't want to talk about it, so that's enough reason to think he's fairly secretive for her.
She laid back then, using her hands to pillow her head as she just looked up at the sky above. ]
I'm just saying what I think about it. It's probably not that simple though, not if confessions and such are always such a big deal in romantic stories.
no subject
[He gave a small shrug for a moment before looking up at the sky for a moment.]
no subject
I wish you luck.
[ True that there was a small part of her that was kind of sad, but she'd rather see Kaoru happy. That was what friends were supposed to want for each other, right? ]
no subject
You know, moving off one subject to another, congrats on getting third place in the votes. Guess that makes you the jester?
[He said it jokingly, of course.]
no subject
[ That was a completely sarcastic comment, and she sighed as she sat up once more and tried to ignore the fact that she went a little pink at that. ]
I still don't understand why people would've wanted me to win in the first place, m'not exactly a nice person...
no subject
[He just gives a small shrug at the thought.]
You just have to know enough people.
no subject
[ However, she at least doesn't leave it at that. ]
I'm glad Naminé won though. It doesn't feel like a wasted vote that way.
no subject
[He nodded slightly.]
I'm glad as well, though I very nearly didn't vote for her to be a troll to someone else, but refrained.
no subject
[ She sighed because that conversation is going no where. ]
Really? Who, if you don't mind my asking?
