Cool and Spicy~

Great Hall

[This is a chance for Amu to start over. For her to drop her outside character and just be herself. Except that is easier said than done. She's only been with her chara's and the others for a year but she misses them. She sits at a table after leaving her cloak in her room. Her bag from her old school is in front of her and she's looking out the window with her chin resting on her palm. She's a little down without anyone else she knows here but her parents had gotten so excited when she got her letter.

She sighs looking back over the great hall at the other students.

She can't help but wonder what it's going to be like here. There were a few people that she spotted from Japan but she couldn't help but feel a little displaced. As a collection of sad thoughts worked to invade her mind she tries to push them away. Everyone is wishing her luck from home and she'd be able to visit and see them again soon. 

Even so, she's clearly dwelling on it and has once again fallen back into her 'cool and spicy' attitude. She doesn't want to get close if she has to say goodbye.]

School Grounds

[Amu decides to spend some time walking around the outside of the castle. It was amazing seeing the castle from the boats with the stars as a back drop but it had been night then and she wasn't able to see it all. She steps through the grass taking a look at anything that seems odd. She has read a few books before coming that her father had given her about wizards and the like but there is a lot that she doesn't know.]

Mmm...

[She lightly kicks at a rock almost expecting it to fly off. This is such a weird place.

Amu does find a strange tree on the grounds and yet as she gets closer it starts to move so she takes a few steps back. It's not worth chancing that the tree might see her as a tasty snack.]

What's with this place.

Gryffindor

[She's sitting in the common room with a book out in front of her. Her attempts to jump ahead have only managed to put the first year to sleep. The fire next to her seems to be giving her just enough warmth for the chill of the castle not to wake her up. Her quill has fallen to the table and her head is resting in the center of her text, using the book as a pillow. It might take some effort to wake her up though it's hard to tell with the soft mumbles coming from her lips. ]

Interesting. I always assumed I would be a bird or something.

[Ever since going to that world, she believed she would be something that had the wind element and a bird was close enough to that kind of thing.]

I might look it up and see how it might work.

[Amu nods.]

Maybe we could learn together? [Not that she wants a friend or anything like that.]

[She nodded slightly.]

It's always better to learn with more than just ones self. Plus it's more fun that way.

[Amu nods.]

Right. It'd be fun.

Shall we go to the library?

[She wanted to go and lok it up right now if possible.]

Yeah.

[Amu follows behind with a smile. Fuu reminds her a lot of Nadeshiko.]

[She started to walk, knowing exactly where to go even if she might not have been here for long. She at least now understood why she had been placed in the house she was currently in anyway.]

So, do you understand the meanings to each of the houses?

not really, I haven't looked much into it.

[She honestly doesn't think there is anything to it.]

From what i read we get sorted based by our traits in which each house represents. Do you want to know what each house looks for?

[She understand now why she is in Ravenclaw at least.]

Yeah.

[She realizes she should probably be contributing more to this conversation but it's nice just to listen sometimes and it doesn't make it to hard to think.]

First of all, which house are you?

[She wants to know so she can start there.]

Gryffindor.

[She knows it's a lion.]

Gryffindor is a house that are based on the traits of bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry. It either means you admire these traits or perhaps show those traits yourself.

For me I was put into Ravenclaw which is a house that is based on the traits of intelligence, knowledge, and wit

[Amu pauses.]

I don't think that describes me.

Then are they traits you admire?

[She ponders on it for a moment.]

[whatshouldibe]

I suppose so.. there are lots of things I wish I could do.

[Maybe to many.]

[windofthephoenixtemple]

Well do you try and see if you actually can do them. Instead of just wishing?

[She thought she would ask at least.]

Sort of...

[It's been getting harder with Ran, Miki, or Su but she's talked to a teacher about learning to bake so that's something.]

Then one doesn't know until they try. Though what do you mean by sort of?

[She can't help but tilt her head slightly.]

I've sort of tried things but then I sort of didn't.

[That really isn't explaining.]

You either didn't or didn't. Unless you start and just give up like two minutes later.

[It really wasn't.]

No, I did but only because my friends were there.

[Maybe that's better.]

[windofthephoenixtemple]

[Fuu was somewhat puzzled as to if they were actually talking about the same subject any more or if there were two different subjects altogether.]

Then if that was the case that would mean you did try. Not did try and not tried at the same time.

[whatshouldibe]

I guess so.

[Amu smiles nervously. She doesn't really know if the chara changes count as trying but it's a little hard to explain.]

I guess we went off the subject of what we were originally talking about, aren't we.

[She pauses for a moment, what were they talking about. Oh, well maybe moving off the subject.]
