Great Hall

[It had been quite some time since Eren arrived. Enough to make him settle down after realizing with the help of others that the Mikasa, Jean and Sasha here weren't the ones he knew and that he was in actuality alone in this weird place. It had been an unsettling thought and he still didn't understand how it was possible. It was especially weird when you had the same dynamics with Jean (= fighting wherever they were) and all of them seemed like the people he knew, yet they had different memories and they were all members of this weird places society.

... and who the hell put him and Jean in the same room to sleep anyway?

And who in their right mind assumed that he was a 5th year in a school he knew nothing of?! The amount of catching up was ridiculous! He's no Armin. That's why he was reading books even when he was eating, sometimes just throwing his hands up in the air... and then continuing to read because no way in hell he wanted to be worse than Jean, even if it was a long battle.]

Quidditch Field/Flying

[Even when Eren was "behind" in his studies, he still found time to actually practice flying as well. It made him feel like he still had his gear and could go anywhere he wanted.

... except this was more difficult and he managed to crash into the ground many times in a row. Who in their right mind rides a broom anyway?! Levi would definitely murder the person who used cleaning equipment wrong.

Not that the captain was here. Eren sighed and got on the broom again. Time to try again.]

[Once she arrives just in time to see him throwing those hands in the air...Well, she goes to sit right next to him and starts gathering things to eat while she's also taking a look at his books.]

[SOS, how to offer helping him with all that? As weird as it may be for them both.]

[That's one horrible way to make an open offer, but at least she's making it!]

[Eren notices Mikasa arriving and tries to sit more properly. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but this wasn't his Mikasa.

Yet she's offering her help. Even after their weird meeting. Eren smiles, just a little.]

You would help? That... would be a lifesaver, actually.

[SHE'S ALWAYS HIS MIKASA -- except maybe here :C

The weird first meeting isn't his fault, or her fault either even if she still feels bad for not knowing who he is. But seeing a smile is good, sooner or later he will get those in return from her too but not today.

There are some things I'm already getting a hang of, but... some things are way too hard for me to understand right of the bat. I think I should have told them to put me in first year.

So, are you a good listener if you can look at the stuff being explained to you at the same time?

[ Because she could totally set up that book to read itself to him in mid-air while he eats. ]

Quidditch Field/Flying

[Most of Hikaru's free time is spent on the quidditch fields. She swoops down in front of Eren on her broom, a wide eager smile spread across her lips.]

Hey! Want to practice with me?

Oh hey... uh, if you don't mind me falling on my face all the time.

[Hikaru giggles.]

I mean... isn't that the fun part?
