Great Hall

[Pinkie Pie had always been good at one thing and that was getting to know practically everyone, even if a huge place like this she felt like she knew people, or at least the important things so she could do things and bring a little happiness to others. In the Great Hall one of the things she had been planning for this month and every other month afterwards was to celebrate a persons birthday. With a cake and balloons and everything appearing close to the birthday person. Pinkie will be lingering, waiting to surprise the unsuspecting person.]

[Pinkie wanted everyone to be happy and if she saw someone with even a tiny bit of a frown, she was going to try her best to turn that small frown upside down. So as if following like a ninja she slowly but surely would be sneaking up on some unsuspecting person.]

Surprise~!

[She pulled out a party popper, sending streamers raining down on peoples heads, all the while keeping a smile upon her face.]

[ The party popper has him surprised, but after a moment Tamaki's laughing and approaching her with applause. ]

Wonderful! You must be Ms. Pinkie Pie, correct?

Indeedy I am~ Did you want something?

[She put the now empty party popper away in the pockets of her inner robes.]

As a matter of fact I did!

[ He seems more excited than anything now, immediately whipping out one of the flyers he's already made regarding the Valentine's Dance. ]

I'd heard from some of the other staff members that you're an excellent party planner and caterer! I wanted to ask if you would help me organize a dance party for the student body!

Then you'd be right. It's what I did before I came here.

[That and worked in a bakery, she was a multitasker after all. But she couldn't help but be a little excited at the prospect of there being a party here of all places really.]

Oh~ a dance party~! Do you have the style you had in mind yet?

Well, the theme is going to be centred around Valentine's and celebrating any and all kinds of love for the holiday! Of course dancing is the main aspect of it, thus it being a dance party!

It's also a gateway into spring, so I'm working on getting lots of flowers transfigured for the hall to make it bright, colourful, and welcoming!

Sooooo... than you would need certain kind of flowers. Rises of course can mean love, but to celebrate the gateway to spring you need just the right amount.

[She paused for a moment.]

I think I just got a glorious idea about the flowers. transforming simple balloons into flowers and letting them rain down at the end.

Tres magnifique! I couldn't have thought of a better way to end the evening and warm everyone's spirits at the end of the night! It will be sure to be a sweet memory and a delight for everyone to witness!

They don't call me the bets party planner ever for nothing, I'l have you know. I know how to throw the most perfect of parties, so of course I knew the best way to end it. I can even do them myself as I know how.

We'll also need a variety of hors d'oeuvres for everyone to have through the night, including sweet dessert platters and chocolates! And music, probably live music since electronics don't work in here, or maybe we can find a way to charm some instruments to play the whole night long instead to give the night a more magical touch!

You do know this school does have that kind of musical instruments. I've used them before, so I know where they are. So that's at least figured out. If anyone wants to play, I won't say no either.

As for food, I'll be doing all of that, so I have suitable platter ideas for that and that fits with the style. So apart from that what else would we need? Decorations?

Of course we need decorations, tablecloths, and maybe something that will extra incentive for people to come to the party!

[ He's getting more and more energetic, practically bouncing on the spot as he hangs on Pinkie's every word. ]

Do you have a something in mind?

[Pinkie Pie was feeling the energy and joining in on the excitement.]

Maybe competitions!

Things to recognize the best dressed, and the best dancers! After all, who isn't drawn to a healthy competition amongst peers?

I've never held competitions before, mostly because I tend to aim for people to have fun, rather than fierce competition.

But I guess I can figure it out.

Well, it's just another way to have fun. I'm sure we can come up with even more ideas before the week is out!

Probably. I mean we have the time AND the technology. But I shall get started right away in the kitchen.

And I'll work on making sure we can get the decor up in the great hall on the day of!

[ Wonderful! This is going splendidly according to Tamaki's plans, and to have a known great party planner on his team works even better! ]

I guess since I might not have the time, it would make sense for you to do that, but I will have the blue prints ready the day before. Ohhhhh~ This will be super fun.

It will be a party like Hogwarts has never seen before!

[ Aaaand he's dashing off to continue planning now. Whatever deities are out there, please help Hogwarts make it through this in one piece. ]

AH!

[Namine screams and stumbles backwards as the colorful confetti covers her. Her eyes are wide as she looks at the pink haired girl.]

You.. surprised me.

[Which is obvious.

Namine has been lost in her own thoughts and hadn't noticed the girl or the serious expression on her lips.]

[Even though she surprised the person, she was still happily smiling never the less.]

Of course, duh. That was the point. Surprises are fun.

[Namine laughs softly and shakes her head.]

I'm not very used to surprises.

Well with the Pinkiest of Pies around thee are always going to be surprises.

[Which pretty much means you will get use to that kind of thing happening.]

[Namine shakes her head.]

Why do you like surprises?

Because people always like them, that's why. After the shock goes a smile is always there. Though this is the fun surprises, not those sad ones.

[That was just her way of thinking about things.]

Oh

[Namine smiles.]

I guess that makes sense.

[Now she feels a little awkward and is unsure what to do.]

But if you didn't like it, I will at least apologize.

[She was at least nice, she didn't want to be considered as mean.]

[Namine shakes her head.]

Oh no it's fun! I'm just a little distracted.

How come? What's on your mind?

[That was the reason right? She wasn't sure after all.]

It's February which means Valentine's is coming up and...

[Her cheeks color a pink hue.]

I like someone... maybe but I like being friends with him.

That's right. I love that holiday for all the sweet amazing parties that people have.

[She just liked parties, not so much the meaning behind the holiday.]

Like someone, huh? You mean that doki doki feeling, or the content being around them feeling?

The first one.

[Namine flushes lightly feeling a little odd talking about this with Pinkie Pie.]

I'm not used to saying a lot of what's on my mind.

I wouldn't know what that is like.

[She never really had such feelings before. She preferred doing other things as well.]

Your not. Your one of those quiet types who blend into the background.

Yeah.

[She feels the heat rise a little bit more to her cheeks. She likes blending in.]

That must be nice. I'm quite loud myself.

[If that wasn't obvious enough already.]

But doesn't it make it hard for someone you like to notice you?

It does.

[Which is her whole problem.]

Then why can't you be louder?

[She is asking it as a serious question.]

I'm not very good at it.

[At least she's honest.]

There is no good or bad way for it. You just. Speak. LOUDLY.

[With each word she did in fact get louder.]

[Naminé laughs softly.]

I can try.

Go on then, try!

[She will wait.]

[This is embarrassing.]

I'M SPEAKING LOUDLY!

[Namine's face turns bright red and her fingers quickly clamp over her lips.]

[She raised her arms in the air.]

That's great~! Well done.

[Naminés fingers are on her lips before she breaks into a warm smile.]

I guess I did it.

[She soon moved her arms and started to clapp.]

You did. See you can be louder, it just takes a bit.
