1st Full Moon
A. Great Hall, Post-Dinner
To say the school was interesting was most likely an understatement. He had been there for a couple of weeks by then, coming across all sorts of odd instances and people. It wasn't necessarily bad, and seeing Kotaro's cheerfulness was likely the main factor that allowed Jiro to remain satisfied.
He ate his evening meal quietly, though in truth it wasn't enough to truly sustain him. He'd have to find an alternate source of sustenance, but revealing too much could be dangerous as well... Especially with what he'd learned of the past.
Once the meal was done he rose, looking for a particular blond-haired blue-eyed student. Seeing him every day was one thing, but checking in on him was something he needed to do far more often. Especially since he knew Kotaro didn't always know when or how to keep a secret.
B. Around the School, Late Night
It wasn't work he was used to, but Jiro had to admit that the physical work he was doing was rather rewarding. Maintaining the plants was a simple task in winter, as well as checking on the magical creatures kept on the grounds. Unfortunately, quiet and alone were things that Jiro was no longer particularly good at.
At times he returned inside, seeking to warm himself just enough to tolerate the cold outside once more. It was during those times that he would hear the footsteps, assuming them to be of the other teachers... But, it was still worth investigating, his own footsteps nearly silent as he approached, waiting to see just who was there when he rounded the corner before him.
Perhaps unintentionally he remained in the shadows, watching that person for a moment before clearing his throat in order to announce his presence. He didn't need to make anyone unnecessarily frightened of him, after all... It would be better saved for an intentional instance.

That was until he saw him looking his way.
Kotaro quickly put the extra desert behind his back and waved to his big brother with a warm smile.

"It's good to see you, Kotaro," He began pleasantly as always, a hand resting on his brother's head in a gentle touch.
True, he had seen the cupcake, but... He'd get to that in a minute.
no subject
His school work was hard and it's safe to say that Kotaro hadn't been to school before. At least nothing this formal.

He backed up careful to keep the cupcake behind him.
"I guess I should go then... I have to get back to Hufflepuff."

Continuing his whistle, he reaches for his wand and waits for a brief moment, before turning on his heal, wand lilghting up with an unspoken light spell within a break of a second, signifying he's not to be messed with.]
Who's there?! Show yourself!
no subject
Well, regardless, he still wears the same even smile, a calm expression on him as he raises a hand to signal for the man before him to put the wand down. ]
Easy, I'm merely part of staff as you are, if memory serves me correctly... Though, I suppose you might not have seen me around the campus before.
no subject
Oh it's you...
[Their new groundskeeper.]
You scared the living daylights out of me. I almosed hexed you. What the bloody shite for are you standing in the dark?
no subject
[ Seriously, as sturdy as he thinks he is, he'd rather not take that risk thanks. Especially not from someone who might have had a few too many drinks. ]
As for why I'm here, I'm simply taking a break and warming up before getting back to work. It's far colder than I am used to here.
Forgive me, but I don't think we've been properly introduced. I am Jiro Mochizuki.

I can relate to that. Both of my homes are loads warmer than this.
[Be it the county of Kerry, or Kansai. Speaking of Japan, it looks like there is another one in their ranks. With perfect English at that.]
Harada Sanosuke. [He introduces himself, shakig Jirou's hand.] Sano is fine. [No need to use his full name, or being formal.] I'm in charge of keeping people in the air.

... Dangit now I'm reminded of how Fred and George 'graduated' and how awesome that was
You're welcome ^_____^

"Can you please not stay in the shadows. I can hear you."

He approached then, clearly unimpressed with the girl in front of him. There was no point in pleasantries, or at least Jiro never really saw it when someone was doing something they weren't supposed to. Or if they annoyed him, but this girl wasn't in that category yet.
B
She was more than use to having to be outdoors whenever she wanted to. Sure she was never allowed to go too far, but never the less it was what she was use to. it seemed however here was very different.

So with his belongings in his bag he headed off and with each step, he turned his head. He forgot how creepy it was walking around here at night, by himself. It made him wonder what could happen at any given moment. He hadn't even realized that anyone was watching him.
B
Jiro sighed, frowning a little bit before pronouncing his steps that much more, looking over the boy as he spoke, "I should hope there's a reason why you would be out this late."
If he had to take a guess from the heavy bag and the direction he was coming from, he likely stayed out too late studying... It was something he could respect, but even so he was still technically not supposed to be out at the time...
B
"But I'm on my way back as quickly as I possibly can. So... am I in trouble?"
B
He sighed at that, relaxing a little before approaching so that he could walk at Ryo's side, "I can't say it's good for you to be out this late, but the least I can do is make sure you get back to your dorm safely. I can take a guess at why you were out so late, judging by what you carry with you."
B
"I guess living in the Slytherin dorm... makes sense for it to seem more dangerous than the others being in a dungeon and all."

Okay, so now to check this area... [Said quietly enough to himself, but he found himself jumping at the sudden clearing of the throat. Shit. Clearly he'd been caught, but if it was a student, it wouldn't matter right?] Who's there?!
[Crap. Nope... Staff member....]
B
[ How many students is that now? Does this school just have so much of an air of mystery about it that they feel the need to break curfew?
Regardless, he steps into full view, eyes gleaming just a little under the limited light as he continues. ]
If you return now, we won't need to wake your head of house and bring them into this. However, please know that I'm not generous enough to make such an offer twice.
no subject
Damn. This was a lot harder without Sebastian being here.]
.... Or you could accompany me and we'd call it even?
[Probably won't work, but he has to try.]
no subject
[ Which means chances are that's a no, regardless of what Ciel might say. ]
no subject
Less crowds and annoying people to deal with while trying to find some answers.
[Blunt, but at least he's being honest?]
