2nd Dream
A) SCHOOL GROUNDS, ANYWHERE
[For all appearances Seth seems perfectly fine. As always he doesn't talk much and most of his time in classes were spent watching the other students as they worked. He continues to keep up his calm demeanor though there are rare times when he visibly looks annoyed. During meals he eats very little but he doesn't draw attention to that fact. More often than not he has a book out in front of him which, for the Ravenclaw table, isn't an unusual sight.
He's stopped going to the library to study and instead spends his free hours wandering about the halls. There are moments when it appears that he's sleeping against a window sill or leaning against a wall. His eyes are closed and his breathing steady but it's hard to tell if he's really asleep.]
B) RAVENCLAW COMMON ROOM
[Seth clicks his tongue impatiently while letting his gaze flick around the common room. He realizes solemnly that he has no one to talk to. He hadn't tried to make friends besides Rin and he's sure those he has talk to he's annoyed. He doesn't like feeling this way and he isn't used to it. He's lived most of his life alone and before now he's been okay with that.
It feels as if a hole has been dug out of his stomach leaving him hollow. Is this what it feels like losing friends? If so, it sucks. What makes it worse is that he spends every second he's outside of his common room pretending that he's okay.
It's sick in a way and he doesn't know how long he can last.]
C) WANDERING THE HALLS AFTER DARK
[He might be trying to get in trouble on purpose. His steps are loud and he makes no effort to quiet them. The darkness presses upon his senses and he somehow finds comfort in the empty halls. There is no reason to stay in his common room if he can't sleep and seeing the castle at night is always entertaining.
He thought to transform, he remembers what Rin called him: an animagus? He didn't actually know the term until he started here. Then again seeing a tiger walk through the school halls would probably be more alarming than catching a student. So he quickly pushes the thought from his head and pads down the hallway.
Maybe he can wake a house elf and ask for a late night snack.]

A
Merlin, how he misses him.]

Seth has his knees lightly resting against the far side of the windowsill with his back pressed against the thick frame. His shirt is messy and untucked, the purple tie identifying him as a Ravenclaw student pulled loosely down so it drapes over his unbutton white shirt. His lips ring gleams in the sun and the warmth seems to have lulled the boy to sleep.
Sleep for Seth is unusual though and the steady pressure of Rin's gaze quickly wakes him. Pale yellow eyes looks over at his friend and a sense of panic rises in Seth's chest. He doesn't run or move away but stares. He looks like he wants to say something but some invisible force locks his words inside. It's stupid that he can't just get up and go talk to Rin. Why is he so nervous?]
A
Thus he averts his gaze, eyes fixing on the ground, as he just stands there, thinking about what to do or say. Not counting weird dreams - which he still has no idea whether they were real or not - this is the first time he's... well, seen Seth since... since that kiss.]
Hi. Fancy meeting you here.
[He hears himself speak, but his words sound foreign and far away, like they don't even belong to him. It sounds like the wrong thing to say, but then again, everything feels wrong right now. Wrong and awkward. Rin's hands ball into fists and he gritts his teeth. He doesn't want it to be like this, this isn't how he wants them to be!]
Say... When are we gonna talk?
[He ends up blurting out, finally looking at Seth.]
I can't stand this anymore! If you hate me... [He hesitates for a brief second at what he's about to say, but then finishes, resolutely.] If you hate me, tell it to my face. Please. Or else... Or else I can't go on.
A
We're talking now.
[Her voice is low and silky. His tongue begins flicking his lip rip which he only does when he's nervous.]
I don't hate you. [Her voice is even softer like a breath of fresh air.] I was just scared.
[It sucks admitting his own weakness though he wonders if Rin will bring up the dream and ask about what it is that Seth's really scared of.]
A
You know how I mean it.
[He say quietly, staring at the ground again, thus he doesn't see the nervous gesture, only hears the calm voice. What Seth says brings back a memory of a dream and Rin wonders.]
Funny. You said that to me already once. But that was in a dream and you were a tiger.
A
[Seth scratches the back of his head feeling strangely awkward. He works to keep his tone even and calm. It's really the only defense he has against Rin who seems to persistently break against Seth's barriers. White hair ruffles in the sunlight and Seth glances around the hall making sure they are alone.]
I guess I have some explaining to do. [At least when it comes to that. He lets out a slow even breath and then reaches for Rin's hand. He pulls his friend closer so that he could lower his voice. Seth is sitting below Rin with his eyes trying to catch the others gaze.] Can I tell you something I haven't told anyone else before?
[His voice is shaking now, no matter how much he tries to stay calm he just can't.]
A
What is it?
[He doesn't know what else to say, or ask, so he settles just for that. Huge, expectant eyes are gazing at Seth. Rin is confused. One moment he thinks Seth hates him, the other everything seems to be different than reality. Who is this man, sitting across of him, Rin asks himself, as his crimson eyes meet those golden hues?]

Unlike Seth, he is a friendly person, and someone lurking alone does serve as some sort of impetus for conversation. ]
Hey. What're you doing?
[ It's said in a casual, lighthearted way, as the seventh-year glides over to where Seth was seated. ]
B
Right now? Nothing.
[He should be doing something but he's finding it increasingly difficult to focus.]
And you?
[Besides talking to Seth at a moment where he can't be snarky. The common room does that to him.]
no subject
[ He half-crosses his arms and puts one elbow on the other hand, a habitual pose. ]
I'm talking to you. [ Duh. ] You're looking kind of pale. Did something happen?
no subject
You could say that.
[It's an awkward something and Seth is more skilled at pretending somethings don't happen.]
no subject
Do you want to talk about it? If not, that's fine too.
no subject
Not really sure what there is to say.
[He pauses for a moment chewing on the inside of cheek.]
I'm just not to good with people.
[This is the first time he's really cared too.]

He paused as he walked, coming out of one of the secret areas, making sure to close it afterwards as he did. He just liked to use this time to wonder around and deal with whatever thoughts he had going on, if something were bugging him.
But today it was just because he was bored and not at all tired. As he stepped out after closing off the secret passageway he nearly stepped out in front of the other. However he was quick to back up a tiny bit until he realized it was another student.]
Huh, guess many students like night time exploring.
C
It's the best time to explore.
[He pushes his hands into his pockets as he spoke.]
Are you headed anywhere specific?
C
[Plus he always has that tiny hope his brother will suddenly appear or something.]
What about you?
C
[Seth replies before leaning against the wall.]
I'm surprised that security is so lacking here.
C
Though considering that happened with those monsters... you would think they would do more, wouldn't you?
C
[It doesn't really make sense. Though that thought makes him chuckle dryly.]
The coast is clear if you're looking to head up some of the stairwells. I was heading towards the kitchen.
[Mostly to say hi to the house elves.]

A
Seth... If your tired you know you should probably rest early.
A
I know. I didn't know you worried about me.
[He's pretty sure he scared the crap out of her.]
A
Of course I do. I might not show it correctly or something, sometimes, but I do.
A
Well don't worry about me.
A
[She knew never to press like she did with Ciel, but it still meant she worried more to herself more than anything.]
A
[He's at least honest.]
