Who let the beasts out? Who? Who? Who?
Everyone has been given the chance to sort of.... fit into the role that has been given to them (or not) by now. Just when you think the smoke has cleared on the 31st, you might hear quite a bit of noise coming from the dungeon. At first it just seems like people are just being loud, but.... why is the ground shaking a little? Something is definitely not right....
And then you find out one way or another.
There's more than just a troll in the dungeon.... Oh no... It's much more serious than that. Suddenly there's a multitude of different kinds of monsters spewing out from the dungeon to reek havoc among the school. And as if the dungeon isn't enough, they're some starting to come out of no where from your normal floors. Where did all of these creatures come from (Spoiler alert: the Room of Requirements has played a part in this debacle)!?
It's clear that security has been breached somehow and everyone's assistance is needed to drive them away. All of the professors have started to immediately take action in dealing with the situation; whether it be leading students to safety or actually going to protect the castle, it's clear that there are sinister forces at work here.
Those monsters weren't led out on their own, after all.
[ Prompts ]
Prompt A; Are you having issues with your costume and new found abilities? Well, you may want to work that out before you decide to do anything else. Let's just hope your new urges won't interfere with the trouble at hand.
Prompt B; It's time to evacuate to a safe room. The only place that's big enough for all of the students seems to be the Great Hall, but even so the location isn't really ideal. Still, the professors will do everything in their powers (from protective spells to just defending those there) to keep you all safe.
Prompt C; If you're one of those people who can't stand to just sit around and twiddle your thumbs, there's good news for you. The professors will allow you to help them out if you so chose to. Remember though, only those proven to have control over whatever costume you'd been given/chosen will be allowed to. If you don't have much control, you will be forced to simply wait the events out until it's clear and watched over if it's a severe situation.
Prompt D; Finally you all managed to take care of everything, but where does that leave you? It's not like those monsters simply broke in on their own. Someone or something had to be responsible for it. Was this the work of those sinister figures that tried to break into Gringotts a little while back? They'd clearly made their mark, but there's no evidence pointing to who was responsible. it seems they just wanted to make their existence known in the most flare that they could possibly manage.
Go big or go home after all, right?
Prompt E; Make your own prompt or combine a few! Show us your moves!

Tokiya Ichinose
[ Not the first time, he mentally sighs in relief at having gone the unconventional route at the costumed event. Instead of choosing a specific theme, he ha gone the way of his maternal side of the family and put up an ensemble derived from his own sense of coordination. A formal suit trimmed in luminous purple coupled with a cape worn over one shoulder formed the image of what he would explain to others as that of Northern Royalty - except the day decided to take it one step further by adding to him a slim tiara reminiscent of silvered ice.
Of course, a prince is but a human, so he counted himself as one of those less influenced by the whole debacle. Coupled with his excellent practical performance, it took merely a few minutes of persuasion for him to be allowed out of the safe area and onto the grounds. While dueling monsters is never something he did in practice, his theory sufficed to keep him unharmed - for now.
If you are amongst the corridors, you may find a Shield Charm suddenly thrown your way, or perhaps a bolt of superchilled ice shooting past your ear. The missile leaves a trail of vapour in its wake - another invention that the Muggles seem to have beat wizards to. Supercooling and liquid air did prove useful at freezing parts off monsters.
There's always the frost that glitters on the floor up to a few minutes after he has passed by. It seems the analogy of Ice King might have ended up being taken too far. ]
d;
[ After all the monsters (or hopefully all of them) had been taken care of, Tokiya can be found in the Great Hall or Slytherin Common Room sipping some sort of indeterminate steaming mixture from his mug. Having changed out of his costume (which had been ruined by monster drool, what a terrible thing), he was in little mood to sleep despite his physical fatigue.
Thus the stony-faced Sixth Year nursing his drink in what may be quite the tranquil silence, in the same way that the sky is tranquil before a blizzard. Tranquil from everything snuffed out by white.
Enough with the snow metaphors, he just wants some peace. Or maybe someone to pour his vitriol out to. ]

You should be more careful at where you are aiming.
MAN I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT I REPLIED TO THIS PROPER turned out the tag didnt post e_e i'm so sorry
I am. That's why I didn't hit you.
It's fine
Roxas
[Roxas can't say he's got complete control over his new-found vampiric urges, but he knows that sticking around in the Great Hall is just going to lead to disaster so he sneaks out.
He's got his wand with him, he can take care of himself. He sticks to the shadows, finding himself in an empty hallway...he assumes. He should be safe here, and can take on any creature that comes his way.
What's that skittering sound behind him...?]
[Prompt E]
[The morning couldn't come soon enough, as far as Roxas was concerned, and he visibly relaxes after he spits out the fangs, which have thankfully returned to being fake.
However, he's exhausted, slumping against a wall and hoping no one happens to come his way.]
Prompt E
There were a lot of mysteries to be solved, and so the lavender-haired student was prowling the corridors to check for any beasts not taken care of.
She started when the Lumos-light of her wand fell on a shadow against the wall- but a second glance revealed that it looked fairly humanoid. The beasts rampaging last night, to her knowledge, were not that human.
But for caution's sake she keeps a distance away and calls out to make sure that's really a student and not.... some magic whatever.]

Her steps are light but she isn't able to hide very well as she trails behind him. When Roxas pauses a light blush colors her cheeks and she pauses.]
I'm sorry. I shouldn't have followed you.

Namine...you scared me.
[Considering he's a vampire now, that probably shouldn't have happened but Roxas figures that means he's still him. He tries not to look directly at her, lest he suddenly want to suck her blood or something like that.]
It's fine...but it would probably be safer in the common room.

Hikaru Shidou
[Hikaru has to stay in the great hall because, like many others, she's unable to control her costume.]
Meow~
[She wants to help but every time she tries to say something it comes out wrong. Hikaru walks in a circle, her orange tail swaying side to side as she moves. When she see's someone she knows she'll perk up and come running over.]
What's happening, meow?
[She licks the back of her hand and then rubs it over her head in what might be the most adorable gesture ever.]

From what I've seen and dealt with there are these... monsters I can only assume around the school.
no subject
[She’s just listing things off that she knows of.]
Maybe there are werewolf’s too but it’s not a full moon.
[Or it might be, Hikaru hasn’t been outside.]
What let them in? Mew, Aren’t their wards on the castle, Meow?

Naminé
[She has no idea what's going on but being stuck as an angel isn't ideal. She doesn't think she can hurt anything or protect the school. She almost wishes that she had been wearing something else.
With a soft sigh she lets her head rest against a the wall. She's standing in a random hallway with her wings awkwardly scrunched against the stone. Maybe she can fly? Though that's not really helpful either.
She looks back at her wings but they just remain in place. She isn't really paying attention and she doesn't see the large spider that's hanging upside down from the ceiling. It's many eyes locked on the young angel. There is a soft thud as it falls to the floor turning Namine's head towards the lumbering creature.
She screams and scrabbles away but the eight legged creatures is following close behind.]
no subject
Are you okay?
no subject
I don’t know where it came from.
[She’s panting softly and currently defenseless against any and all monsters. She can pull out her wand but something is compelling her not to hurt anyone.]

Seth Rim
[He's not going to sit around and do nothing while the school is being attacked. His wand is in his left boot but there are other ways he can fight beside just that. There is a sword at his hip and the mind of a pirate in his head.
He fears his natural abilities might not be accessible but he's willing to take the risk if it means helping out.
Seth doesn't check to see if anyone follows him but they might get to see an ability much like an animagus if they do.]
Prompt E
[When Seth wakes up the next morning it feels like a hang over. He forgets his cloak in his room and is just wearing the school uniform. When he arrives at the great hall his head falls on the table, his stomach turning in a very unhealthy manner.
Maybe it's something he ate the night before?]
Terra Branford
[Terra can be found in the halls, her wand is out as she guides students towards the great hall. It isn't perfect but they will be safe there and even if some monsters break through there will be enough teachers there to protect them.
Bright lights of gold zip from her wand and the the encroaching creatures as she moves to get the students to safety. She prefers to be on the front lines and she works hard to keep the students safe. Her otherwise gentle voice can be heard through the halls as she shouts.]
Get to the great hall!
[Another monster barrels down on her and her eyes met the creature with a harsh glare. No one threatens her students.]
Kairi
[Kairi had some decent amount control over her costume of a devil. It matched what her sister was wearing by making them opposite. So with her wand in her hand she was getting ready to help defend people from some oncoming monsters. Taking a step back she glances around seeing who else was about.]
If you aren't going to help fight, then you best to get the safety zones, now.
Harada Sano
[Sano had originally thought that participating in the costume contest would be fun - and to say he made a rather dashing Mummy - but then his colleagues gently pointed out to him, that a teacher should probably stay out of the youngster's fun and besides, it was among his responsibilities to judge.
He had thought it a pity but had conceded the point.
He was eternally grateful. Imagining himself as a rotting Mummy right now was not a pleasant thought and thanks to being alright, he could help now protecting everyone in the face of the strangest occurence. He was in charge of organizing the great hall, so that everything remained efficient. He was rather good at it too. He might not look it, but organization was one of his strongest points. But only when necessary.]
D)
[Only when everything was over did he allow himself to sit down, pour himself a whiskey and take a deep breath. The kids were safe now, but that didn't answer the question where all the chaos had come from in the first place. Could it have to do something with that article from a few weeks ago? Were the same people responsible for it?
Or had someone decided to play a practical joke on them?
Sighing, he looked over the great hall, from where he sat at the front, noting that everyone seemed tired, but at least they were well. That was all that counted, right?]
no subject
[Teacher located. Among the surging crowd of students it was a little hard to spot an adult, especially when she'd seen quite a few outside the Hall instead shooting spells. With some difficulty, Kirigiri navigated past the anxious juniors in her way and pushed up to Harada-sensei.]
Should we put some protective charms on the doors? The older students can help with it too.

Fai D. Flourite
[Well this is interesting. Monsters roaming the halls and Fai thought this place of magic was getting a little boring. But then again he was use to things happening whenever he went to a new world and with no way to get back and his normal magic seemingly unable to do the task he was here running around using the wand to cast various spells in order to knock a few back. This was troublesome indeed.]
You would think this was overly troublesome, but you know it could be solved quickly if we could perhaps find the source of all of thing. If anyone would be interested of course.
Daphne
[This was something the young blonde had always trained for. to battle for those that needed it. After all she was an Ex-Auror and it was duty not only to protect but now even more to protect those in need here, the students who aren't ready. Guiding a small batch, she continued to keep checking behind her to see where they were before looking forward.]
Okay students. I want you to listen to me okay, while I can fight alone, I want you all to learn as well so if you are brave enough will you please get your wands out.
Elizabeth Midford
[Lizzie tugged on her dress slightly as she stood in the Great Hall, she was told they would be safe here, but she wasn't certain that was really the case. It unnerved her slightly as she started to make her way through the crowd and toward the front, all the while her eyes looking out for that one familiar face that could calm her through all this. But she couldn't see him. Did he perhaps get into trouble, was he lost and alone somewhere? As those thoughts drifted through her mind it made her go through the crowd much quickly, her legs going as fast as they could till she was at the front and out the door.
She had to find him and she had to protect him no matter what. That was something she had decided to do after all.]
Kirigiri Kyoko
[As much as she wouldn't mind sneaking out of the Great Hall to help out -oh, a teacher was organizing an official exodus, even- Kirigiri stayed put in the Great Hall. It was impossible to work around the unfortunate constraint that she had about a month's worth of magic knowledge. If she had a flamethrower it would be dandy; but she had but a wand, and knew better than to test her fledgling duelling skills in these situations.
Lurking near one of the entrances, she realized that lots of people were heading out of the door and no one was really bothering to enforce it.
Did no one actually use protective spells in real life or....?
When you come across her she's in the process of either asking a teacher if it's a good idea, or Charming the doors to repel the monsters. Maybe you could help. She'd appreciate some help in this, she doesn't know that many protective spells.]
