The 22nd -- Lost Opportunities
A. Great Hall (Daytime Saturday/Sunday)
[ Great... She can't focus.
Adela's just frowning at the text book in front of her -- she doesn't even care which one it is. She's not bothering with notes, just drawing her quill in circles and lost in different thoughts. Mostly sadness, but with some regret tinged there as well.
Seriously, it felt like half her friends just left overnight... Even the stupid notes from those Gryffindor girls don't really bother her anymore. Is that wrong of her? She doesn't know.
It means that she's just sitting there at the Hufflepuff table for hours, only moving her things away during meal times or leaving for necessities. She really didn't want to think about anything else, though it would mean she probably wasn't going to get any studying done over the weekend. ]
B. The Roof (Late Night Saturday Evening only)
[ Looking at the stars isn't really having the soothing effect it's supposed to anymore, with everything that's going on. She's still bundled up for the cold, and at least it's a clear night, and it's not like she's bothering anyone else. She can let a few hours pass quietly up here with no trouble, right?
Well, that was the plan, until she notices her broom slipping off of the roof out of the corner of her eye.Surprising that hasn't happened before, really.
Adela can't help the small squeak she releases when she tries (and fails) to catch it, consequently slipping a little before catching herself from falling straight off the roof with the broom. It doesn't help that she has no idea where the broom has fallen to (too dark out) and... God, is it broken? She's screwed if it is, but if it's in one piece she needs to recall it straight away.
Dread fills her stomach, but hopefully no one's around to notice the broom having a summoning charm cast on it as she tries to get it back. Hopefully it's still in one piece, brooms are pretty sturdy but still. ]
C. Wildcard
[ Didn't have time to see Adela over the weekend? Didn't see the result of the latest late night escapade? Well, come up with your own adventure there. ]
