Morning mail; Hufflepuff table
[The morning mail arrives as usual, bringing everyone their mails. For once, Shiraishi doesn't receive a howler when he accept the mail. Instead it's a letter from the head of the Shiraishi family; his grandfather.
He eagerly reads through the letter, his expression turning bright as he does.
The last few words of the letter even almost bring him to tears. 'I'm sorry I haven't taken action sooner, Kuranosuke. Please, come visit me next time you can so we can talk'.
He hasn't been this happy in a while.]
After breakfast; Closed to Kenya
[Once he's done with reading and eating his breakfast, he hurries off to the Ravenclaw table, the letter in hand and a smile on his face.]
Kenya, come with me.
[While he could announce the news to everyone, he rather wants to talk with his best friend alone, so he makes his way to a more private area... and actually hugging Kenya once they're really alone.]
