The 9th - Dwindling Winter's Chill
Gift Exchange – Closed to Rin Matsuoka and Naminé
[ Valentine's had been hectic, with the dance and all. In fact, it had been so much so that she'd completely forgotten about the gifts she'd gotten in Hogsmeade. It took about a week, but at last Adela had managed to get the gifts to their intended recipients, along with a couple of notes. They weren't the typical Valentine's chocolates, but Rin's broom polish was a late birthday gift anyway and... Well, hopefully Naminé would appreciate the charmed pencils regardless. ]
Grounds – Mid-Afternoon
[ Since the Quidditch pitch was being used for team practice that wasn't Hufflepuff's, Adela didn't have too much to do in the afternoon save for studying. Even if it was still a bit chilly out, reviewing the text readings from class outside was more peaceful than the library. Perhaps that was a little sad, but a little cold never hurt anyone so long as she was dressed for it.
She looked up to the sky then, admiring a bit just how blue it was on such a clear day. Maybe some would find it lonely, but it was also peaceful. Too bad it likely wouldn't last long. ]
Hallways – Late Night
[ Astronomy wasn't usually that hard to stay awake through, but that night she was just far more tired than normal. The class couldn't end soon enough, and with her star charts rolled up in hand she was on her way back. It was probably a bad idea to stop by the loo before heading back to the dorms as that separated her from everyone. All things considered though, she probably wouldn't be in trouble if a teacher caught up with her because she was just heading back to the dorms after class, right?
Then again, who else would be out that late? Probably not many... With that thought in mind, the red head tried (and failed) to stifle a yawn as she walked further and further down the stairs, back towards the Hufflepuff Common Room and consequently the dorms. ]
