2nd Piece of Art
Great Hall + Hallways
[Daisuke finished eating some toast when he saw an owl come flying toward him, to only then fly over and drop the letter in his lap before turning around and flying back out. Daisuke nervously looked down at the letter, a feeling of dread flowing through his body. His mother said she would only send letters if they had found something he was meant to be stealing and had sent a note saying it was going to be taken.
It was a though that made him ink down a little bit. He hadn't even been here a month and already he was being made to do something he wished he didn't have to do, even if it was the 'family business.' He picked up the letter and swiftly stood up before heading off. He was planning on reading it somewhere private and he knew just the place.
However just as he was about to leave, he managed to trip over his own foot sending him falling forward, but he reacted by flipping over and landing on his feet. At least until he realized that was not a smart move in case people question him, so with that in mind he slipped forward and landed face first on the cold hard ground, the letter fluttering away.]
Ow.

Ow.

Great Hall
He hurries towards him, placing a gentle hand on their shoulder.]
Hey, are you alright?
Great Hall
Sitting up, he started to rub his nose slightly.]
I'm fine. I'm use to this.
Great Hall
You should pay better attention, or else you'll end up hurting yourself badly. You sure you're alright?
Great Hall
I had been paying attention to where I was going, but I guess watching where my feet were should have been a good idea.
[He wiped himself down.]
But I really am okay.
Great Hall
If you're sure.
[He watches the boy pick up the letter he dropped and grins smugly.]
Got a little excited about that letter, huh? Is it from a girl?
Great Hall
[So it was from a girl and yet it was clearly unopened, but Daisuke could imagine her asking such things anyway, even with the underline message he would have to figur out himself.]
no subject
[Hikaru is only sitting a few seats down when she watches the spectacle of Daisuke's fall.]
Great Hall
She must be thinking about you, then. Mothers are like that.
[But 'move' huh?]
You're one of the transfer students, aye?
Great Hall
[He knew what people though of her because of what she was born as, but to him she's his mother and he loved her regardless. But it also make sense to him about how she is and her want of always wanting a kid like him, a wizard.]
I am. Transfered not too long ago.
no subject
[He rubbed his nose slightly as he sat up.]
no subject
Me too? Why are you in such a hurry?
no subject
[It was faster walking anyway.]
no subject
She probably misses you.
Great Hall
Sounds like a courageous woman. I say you read the quickly and make sure to reply. I’m sure she can’t wait to read your letter.
[Honestly, he was a little envious. He wished his mother would be like that as well… Caring… Supportive… He shakes his head inwardly. No sense in crying over what couldn’t be changed.]
Also, if you need anything, or can't find your way around, you can always ask.
Great Hall
I'll keep that in mind, though I guess right now though, I don't have anything to ask.
no subject
[Which he didn't mind if that was the only reason.]
no subject
[She stands from the table having finished breakfast.]
Don't let me hold you up. I have to get to practice anyway.
no subject
[He smiled, giving a small wave before he started to head off.]
